Here is a look at the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Pro High that features a Copper base with Black accents and the special African graphic on the ankle strap. “No Cup Is Safe” highlights friendly competition between McIlroy and Woods.
BEAVERTON, Ore. (January 14, 2012) – On the heels of Nike Golf’s major announcement today that Rory McIlroy has joined its athlete roster, Nike Golf is also unveiling a new TV spot that features global sports icon Tiger Woods and McIlroy.
The 60-second spot (30-second also available), produced by Wieden + Kennedy, is set to air from Wednesday, January 16 to Monday, January 21 on ESPN and The Golf Channel in the United States, on TSN in Canada, and on Sky Sports in Europe. The “No Cup is Safe” piece showcases the athletic competitiveness, remarkable talents, and playful attitudes of the two best golfers in the world.
“I really like the ad,” Woods said. “It shows the fun side of us and I had a good time shooting it.”
“I’m genuinely excited about the first Nike TV ad I will be appearing in as a Nike athlete,” McIlroy said. “The theme of the ad is really cool and it’s a great way to kick off my career at Nike.”
McIlroy and Woods are captured on the driving range lightheartedly taking turns to one-up each other by making amazing shots into a variety of different cups. The viewer is reminded that these two Nike Golf athletes can excite, engage and perform like no others in the sport today. While the ad displays their playful manner, it also conveys the competitiveness between two of the best golfers in the world.

The Air Jordan XIX (19) White/Varsity Red was released back in July 10th, 2004, retailed for $165. Featuring a White leather and mesh base with Varsity Red patent leather detailing along with Chrome accents throughout. The design behind the Air Jordan XIX (19) was to make the perfect basketball sneaker which included phylon midsoles with a double stack Air Sole Unit in the heel and a carbon fiber shank for additional support.
The Air Jordan XIX (19) White/Varsity Red may not have been everyones favorite sneaker to go out and cop, but if you were in need of a good hooping shoe than these were for you. Did you happen to sleep on these as many did? Looking back now, do you wish you would have cop’d them back in the day? Lastly, would you consider copping them again if Jordan Brand were to retro?
