Reebok Drops Rick Ross

Reebok has officially dropped Rick Ross as an endorser since his recent verse on Rocko’s U.O.E.N.O was released.

Reebok has issued a statement to TMZ: “Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”

Rick Ross did somewhat apologies on his Twitter account, but that apology couldn’t save his endorsement with Reebok. Did Reebok make the right move? How does this compare to other Rappers that have endorsements with other brands?


Nike Sportswear Tennis Classic AC Mesh Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

As we slowly approach the warm weather here in the East Coast, Nike Sportswear has several new Tennis Classic AC Mesh models to release. The collection features a breathable perforated mesh upper with Brown heels sitting atop White soles. Look for these to start debuting this Spring 2013.

Releasing this weekend is a special new GS model of the Air Jordan 8. The Air Jordan 8 GS “Laney” will debut a week before the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs” that features a Grey base with Blue and Yellow accents. These will drop to select Jordan Brand accounts on April 13th, 2013.
