Aaliyah Chavez Debuts Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low PE Ahead Of March Madness

Oklahoma freshman star Aaliyah Chavez has revealed her first-ever Nike Basketball player exclusive, arriving just as the spotlight shifts toward NCAA March Madness. The highly ranked recruit continues to deliver on expectations during her debut college season, recently tying an SEC record with eight Freshman of the Week honors. Her early success has already positioned her as one of the most exciting young talents in women’s college basketball.

Her first PE comes in the form of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low, a model closely tied to the legacy of Kobe Bryant. The design draws inspiration from The Lab, a private basketball training facility in Lubbock, Texas, owned by her father, Sonny Chavez. The facility’s colorful branding influences the shoe’s look, which features bold splashes of pink, green, purple, and yellow across the lower portion. Meanwhile, a black Flyknit upper provides contrast, while orange Swooshes and Mamba logos complete the vibrant presentation.

The sneaker also reflects Chavez’s ongoing relationship with Nike. The brand signed her to an NIL deal ahead of her freshman campaign, signaling long-term investment in the rising star. Although the Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball program is aligned with Jordan Brand, Chavez appears free to wear models from across Nike’s broader basketball lineup.

Chavez has long favored Kobe sneakers, previously appearing in pairs like Caitlin Clark’s Kobe 5 “Indiana Fever” and the Kobe 3 Low Protro earlier this season. Now, with her own custom Kobe 9 Elite Low PE, the Oklahoma standout officially adds a personal chapter to the ongoing legacy of Kobe performance footwear.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Patent “Topaz Gold/Pine Green” Releases April 2026

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Patent “Topaz Gold” surfaces with a fresh look that should stand out next summer. This pair leans into a loud Topaz Gold finish, and the patent leather makes the color pop even harder. The green Swoosh adds a clean contrast that reminds me a bit of those early-2000s AF1 colorways you’d spot in old streetwear clips. Newly surfaced product images now offer a closer look at the glossy patent leather upper and Pine Green Swoosh.

This color mix includes Pine Green, Light Laser Orange, and Midas Gold, but the shoe doesn’t feel overdone. The glossy treatment gives it that “special occasion” vibe, even though it’s still a simple low-top. The yellow laces work nicely too. They blend in instead of fighting for attention, which keeps the whole palette balanced. I wouldn’t be shocked if this pair ends up on a lot of summer rotation lists.

Patent Air Force 1s have always had a very specific fanbase, and this one sits right in that lane—bold, shiny, and unapologetically loud. If you liked the old patent AF1s from Nike’s mid-2000s run, this one hits the same wavelength.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Patent “Topaz Gold/Pine Green” drops April 9, 2026 at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $120 USD.

Dylan Harper’s Nike GT Cut 4 “Metallic Rose Gold” PE Releases Summer 2026

Rising guard Dylan Harper is beginning to build his own lane in the NBA, and that momentum now carries into the footwear space. His latest player exclusive arrives through Nike Basketball with the Nike GT Cut 4 “Metallic Rose Gold” PE, a striking edition of the performance model expected to release in Summer 2026.

The design reflects Nike’s ongoing interest in metallic finishes across its basketball lineup. This pair stands out with a shimmering Metallic Rose Gold and Deep Maroon color scheme that shifts depending on the lighting. From one angle, the upper leans toward gold. From another, it reveals pink and bronze tones, creating a jewelry-like effect similar to rose-gold watches or polished Cuban links.

Personal details help separate this PE from standard releases. The heel features Harper’s “Flying D” logo, a signature mark that also appears on his upcoming GT Cut 1 PE. That subtle branding adds a personal stamp to the shoe while highlighting Harper’s growing relationship with Nike Basketball.

On the court, the young San Antonio Spurs guard has quietly played an important role off the bench, contributing scoring and energy alongside franchise centerpiece Victor Wembanyama. As Harper continues to develop, Nike’s run of player exclusives signals increasing confidence in his presence both on and off the hardwood.

The Nike GT Cut 4 Dylan Harper “Metallic Rose Gold” PE is scheduled to launch in Summer 2026. Retail pricing is set at $210 for men’s sizing and $142 for grade school pairs. The release is expected through Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Red Patent” Revives Early-2000s Glossy Style

Nike is leaning into nostalgia this summer as it works to “restore the feeling” around its classic silhouettes. One of the biggest moves in that effort is a renewed focus on the patent leather Air Force 1, a style that brings the iconic model back to the glossy, early-2000s aesthetic many longtime fans remember.

The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 “Red Patent” continues that push with a bold, layered color palette. The shoe arrives with a deep red patent leather upper and matching midsole, giving the silhouette a rich monochrome base. Bright orange accents highlight the Swoosh and heel tab, while the laces and insoles feature a more vibrant neon-leaning red tone. Yellow branding on the tongue and heel adds contrast, tying the look together with a playful pop of color. A semi-translucent red gum outsole and leather sockliner complete the design.

This pair joins several other patent leather Air Force 1 colorways expected to roll out in Summer 2026, including pink, yellow, and blue variations. The renewed focus on the glossy material is part of a wider revival strategy for Nike’s heritage models. Recent collaborations—such as projects with Lil Yachty and Central Cee—have already helped bring attention back to the Air Force 1, while additional themed releases like a returning “Easter” edition are also on the way.

Together, these drops suggest Nike is revisiting a formula that worked during the Air Force 1’s early-2000s peak, when vibrant patent leather versions became staples in sneaker culture.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Red Patent” is expected to release April 9, 2026 at select retailers and SNKRS. The retail price tag is set at $120 USD.

Nike LeBron 23 “Masked Menace” Releases March 24th

UPDATE 3/6/26: Official images of the Nike LeBron 23 “Masked Menace” have surfaced ahead of its March 24, 2026 release. The all-black design features mesh construction with glossy carbon-fiber–inspired overlays, nodding to the protective mask LeBron wore during his memorable 2014 performance. Retail is set at $210. Check out the photos below.

Original Story 2/6/26:
A fractured nose, a carbon-fiber mask, and a hostile Madison Square Garden crowd turned one regular-season night into LeBron James mythology. That game in February 2014—31 points, surgical efficiency, unmistakable intensity—still circulates whenever his Miami years are revisited, and Nike is now pulling that memory forward with the Nike LeBron 23 “Masked Menace” release.

LeBron James wearing the Black Masked Menace during his time with the Miami Heat

Built almost entirely in black, the pair reads less like a standard colorway and more like a material study. The engineered mesh upper is layered with glossy, carbon-fiber–style panels that subtly echo the protective mask James wore, while the all-black rubber outsole and sculpted heel geometry keep the silhouette aggressive without looking busy. Small metallic hits on the lace hardware provide contrast, but restraint is clearly the theme—an evolution of how LeBron’s storytelling shoes have shifted from loud references toward cleaner, concept-driven design.

Beyond the footwear, the release extends into apparel that frames the moment like a chapter in a long-running tour. A matching “Masked Menace” T-shirt places a masked LeBron graphic on the chest, while the back lists key dates and cities from his career, treating the mask game as part of a broader timeline rather than a one-off highlight.

Blue Patent Leather Covers This Nike Air Force 1 Low

Some Air Force 1 releases lean on heritage, while others push the silhouette into brighter territory. This upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Blue Patent” clearly lands in the latter category, pairing glossy materials with bold color accents for a look that stands apart from the usual leather builds.

Blue patent leather adorns the upper replacing the regular matte colors. Everything from the perforated toe box to the heel is made with this glossy material. The patent leather finishes shine everywhere giving the sneaker a mirror like effect that changes with reflection. Despite the new leather the iconic AF1 paneling stayed consistent.

Along the sides, deep purple patent Swooshes introduce contrast against the glossy blue base. Matching heel tabs carry white Nike Air branding, creating a sharp visual break at the back of the shoe while tying the purple details together.

Volt green laces immediately grab attention up front. That same neon tone appears again underfoot through a translucent mint-green outsole, which subtly glows beneath the blue midsole stamped with classic “AIR” branding.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Blue Patent” is scheduled to release April 9, 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers.

Azzi Fudd Signs With Jordan Brand Ahead of 2026 WNBA Draft

University of Connecticut star Azzi Fudd has officially signed with Jordan Brand, adding another rising talent to the company’s growing women’s basketball roster.

The Virginia native is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall selection in the upcoming 2026 WNBA Draft. At just 23 years old, Fudd has already built an impressive résumé. Her accomplishments include National Player of the Year recognition and helping lead the UConn Huskies to the 2025 NCAA Championship. Earlier in her career, she also became the youngest American women’s player to compete in a FIBA U16 tournament.

By joining Team Jumpman, Fudd becomes part of a respected group of Jordan Brand athletes. The women’s roster already includes notable names such as UConn legends Maya Moore and Napheesa Collier. Her addition reflects Jordan Brand’s continued investment in the growth of women’s basketball and the next generation of elite players.

In a statement announcing the partnership, Fudd expressed excitement about representing the iconic Jumpman logo. She explained that growing up watching Jordan Brand athletes inspired her, and joining the company now represents both an honor and a responsibility. Fudd emphasized her desire to build on the legacy created by past legends while also helping showcase the future of women’s basketball.

Jordan Brand has also been expanding its NIL lineup with young prospects, including Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer, Kiyan Anthony, and Kiki Rice. Fudd’s agreement extends beyond college and will continue as she begins her professional career.

As her journey toward the WNBA begins, all eyes will be on how Azzi Fudd represents Jordan Brand on and off the court while inspiring the next wave of athletes. To shop all things “His Airness,” head over to Nike.com/Jordan.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” Now Available (March 2026)

UPDATE 3/6/26: The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” is now available on Nike SNKRS for $180 USD.

Original Story 2/20/26:
Nike’s retro lineup tied to Ken Griffey Jr. has stayed focused on one model for years—the Air Max Griffey 1. While several colorways cycle back into rotation, the spotlight rarely shifts away from the original silhouette that helped define Griffey’s off-field legacy. Now, one of its standout modern-era releases is making another comeback.

The Air Max Griffey 1 “Varsity Royal,” first introduced in 2009 and last seen in 2021, is returning once again. This version sticks closely to its previous release, keeping the same style code and overall build intact. A clean mix of Varsity Royal and white leather shapes the upper, while Volt accents energize the visible Air units for a bold finish.

Griffey’s impact still carries weight decades after his playing days. Known for his effortless swing, elite defense, and unmistakable presence, “The Kid” helped shape both baseball culture and sneaker history. His signature logo remains one of Nike’s most recognizable athlete marks, sitting near the top alongside basketball icons.

Nike originally produced six signature models for Griffey between the late ’90s and early 2000s, quietly building one of the strongest non-basketball sneaker lines ever created. Today, that legacy continues to live through consistent retros like this one.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Varsity Royal 2026 Release Date

The Nike Air Max Griffey 1 “Varsity Royal” is currently scheduled to release on March 6th. Retail pricing is set at $180 for men’s sizing and $122 for grade school pairs.

Nike LeBron 23 “15,838” PE Celebrates LeBron’s NBA Field Goal Record

LeBron James added another milestone to his legendary career, becoming the NBA’s all-time leader in field goals made. The historic moment happened during a matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets, when James connected on a fadeaway jumper to record his 15,838th made field goal. The basket moved him past Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the top spot on the league’s all-time list.

To celebrate the achievement, James wore a special player-exclusive version of the Nike LeBron 23 designed specifically for the milestone. The commemorative pair features a vibrant purple-and-gold gradient inspired by the Lakers’ colors, while shifting tones of pink, orange, bronze, and green appear depending on lighting. The bold finish makes the shoe stand out on court while honoring the historic accomplishment.

The defining detail sits on the heel, where “15,838*” is embroidered to mark the exact number of field goals tied to the record. While player-exclusive sneakers have long been part of James’ signature line, this pair carries extra significance as it celebrates another chapter in his remarkable 23rd NBA season.

At this time, Nike has not confirmed whether the commemorative LeBron 23 will release to the public. However, some player-exclusive colorways occasionally make their way to retail later on. For now, the special pair remains a symbol of one of the league’s most impressive scoring milestones.

Nike Zoom Hyperflight “J Will” PE Now Available (March 2026)

UPDATE 3/6/26: The Nike Zoom Hyperflight “J Will” just dropped on Foot Locker with a few select sizes left.

UPDATE 2/13/26: Fresh off news that Jason Williams has officially re-signed with Nike, the spotlight now shifts to the return of his iconic “Varsity Purple” Nike Hyperflight PE. The fan-favorite colorway, complete with the original #55 and “JWILL” detailing, is set to release on Saturday, February 14th, during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

An additional drop has now been confirmed for Sacramento, where the Nike Hyperflight “JWILL #55” PE will release at Phenom’s DOCO location near the Kings arena. The release is scheduled for 11 AM PST on Saturday at 405 K Street #120, adding another key in-store opportunity for those looking to secure a pair.

Original Story 1/9/26:
The Jason Williams x Nike Zoom Hyperflight “Varsity Purple” harkens back to one of the boldest shoes in Nike Basketball’s archive, which is now set to release in 2026. Launched at the height of the mold-created synthetic era, the Zoom Hyperflight took flight when other basketball shoes were rooted in leather. The high performance shoe was a departure in both look and feel, with its form-fitting shell and sculpted silhouette ahead of its time.

The shoe’s legacy is also closely tied to the innovation of Jason Williams, who was known as much for his flashy drives as he was for the ground his sneakers touched. At a time when basketball sneakers were often thick and bulky, the Hyperflight remained sleek and light on its feet. It was a sharp contrast to the then-popular layered design.

This Varsity Purple Hyperflight channels Williams’ most memorable player exclusive. Glossy purple uppers meet black structural accents, while personal branding elevates the execution. His No. 55 appears on the tongue, with “J-Will” stamped across the heel. The result feels expressive without crossing into excess.

Compared to today’s tech-loaded silhouettes, the Zoom Hyperflight reads refreshingly pure. Its focus on form, speed, and identity aligns well with current retro performance trends. Nike’s decision to revisit this colorway feels measured, not forced.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Magic” Releases March 2026

UPDATE 3/6/26: Official images of the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Magic” have surfaced ahead of its expected March 13, 2026 release. The pink-accented design pulls inspiration from The Forum in Inglewood, a venue tied closely to Kobe Bryant’s early career. See the photos below.

Original Story:
The momentum behind the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro continues to build, and early looks suggest Nike is treating this comeback with serious intent. What started as quiet anticipation quickly turned into a strong rollout, fueled by appearances from Jalen Brunson and previews shared by Vanessa Bryant. Colorways like “Halo” and “Arancia” helped reintroduce the model, while its inclusion in the “Warning Label” pack pushed it into must-have territory.

Now, the spotlight shifts to the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Magic”, a colorway that taps into Kobe Bryant’s early roots in Inglewood. The design pulls inspiration from The Forum, the historic arena tied closely to his rise. This pair leans into a darker, nighttime aesthetic, pairing black detailing with soft pink hits across the sole, sidewall, and toe. A metallic silver Swoosh at the heel finishes the look with a subtle contrast.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Mamba Magic inspiration The Forum arena in Inglewood California

Beyond the visuals, this release continues Nike’s effort to connect Kobe’s legacy to meaningful locations and moments. That storytelling approach has been consistent across recent Protro drops, and it adds depth to what could otherwise be just another retro.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Mamba Magic Release Date

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Magic” is expected to release March 13, 2026 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $190 USD.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cherry Blossoms” Releases Spring 2026

When spring rolls around, Nike usually taps into lighter themes, and floral inspiration often finds its way onto familiar silhouettes. That idea comes through on the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cherry Blossoms”, a seasonal update scheduled to arrive Spring 2026.

On initial inspection, you will notice that the outline still mirrors that of your classic AF1. The upper is mainly constructed of smooth white leather, keeping the iconic silhouette and build we know and love. White Swoosh gently blends into the sides and the perforated toe box is reminiscent of the AF1’s we know and love year after year.

The color arrives in a softer take. The laces shift gradually from light pink into a stronger pink tone, giving the shoe a bit of spring character. That same pink appears on the Nike Air branding at the heel and tongue, offering a small contrast against the white base.

A closer look reveals the theme. Along the lateral midsole, a pink blossom graphic appears beside the “AIR” lettering. A Fauna Brown branch detail runs across the midsole with scattered petals.

Nike will release the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cherry Blossoms” Spring 2026 on Nike.com and select retailers.

YOASOBI and ASICS Link Up For A Three-Pair GEL-Kinetic Fluent Collection

Music and sneakers often cross paths, but this latest project stays close to home. Japanese pop duo Ayase and Ikura, better known as YOASOBI, are teaming up with ASICS for their first sneaker collaboration. The result is the YOASOBI x ASICS GEL-Kinetic Fluent collection, a three-pair release inspired by the duo’s song “Just a Little Step” (もう少しだけ) and its theme of gradual progress.

One detail immediately sets the design apart. Clear tubing stretches from the heel toward the forefoot, giving the silhouette a slightly futuristic feel. Longtime ASICS fans may notice a faint connection to the rarely discussed GEL-MAI, though the overall look still feels modern. The lineup includes three colorways—black, silver, and a brighter purple-and-pink combination.

Underneath the design, the model leans on familiar ASICS technology. The ASICS GEL-Kinetic Fluent draws its structure from the GEL-Quantum Kinetic platform, pairing visual experimentation with performance cushioning. Scutoid GEL sits in the heel to soften impact, while the forefoot keeps a more traditional setup for everyday comfort.

For ASICS, this partnership marks another step towards integrating music culture with its expanding Sportstyle collection. The official release date for YOASOBI x ASICS GEL-Kinetic Fluent collection is set for March 2026, however it’s unknown whether ASICS will release the drop internationally or Japan-only.

adidas Climacool Laced “Cream/Core Black” Combines Sculpted Lattice and Modern Performance

Ventilation has always been central to adidas performance design, and the brand continues exploring new ways to push airflow forward. That mindset leads directly into the adidas Climacool Laced “Cream/Core Black,” a modern silhouette built around structure, breathability, and lightweight movement.

The design stands out immediately through its fully molded lattice upper. This open-grid construction wraps the entire shoe, forming a breathable shell that allows constant airflow. The Cream finish keeps the look clean and understated, while the layered grid shifts direction across the upper to mirror the natural shape of the foot.

Contrast arrives through bold Core Black Three Stripes along the lateral side. The stripes sit atop the sculpted lattice frame and feature subtle ribbed texture, adding depth against the neutral base. A traditional lacing system connects directly to the molded cage, while a breathable inner bootie sits beneath the structure to help secure the foot.

Down below, the outsole continues the same architectural approach. A sculpted lattice traction pattern mirrors the upper’s design language, reinforcing the lightweight build while maintaining durability. The approach reflects adidas’ broader push toward engineered airflow systems that blend performance function with experimental design.

The adidas Climacool Laced “Cream” releases Spring 2026 via adidas.com and select retailers for $160 USD.

New Balance 991v1 “Oyster Grey Croc” Releases March 19th

A familiar Made in UK classic returns with a fresh twist this spring, as the New Balance 991v1 “Oyster Grey” steps back into the spotlight. Arriving as the second inline colorway since the model’s revival in 2023, the release continues highlighting the craftsmanship and premium build that define the Flimby-produced runner.

This iteration plays heavily on the use of different textures. The upper boasts a crocodile inspired texture that stretches throughout for cohesion and offers a bolder personality to the vintage silhouette than we’ve seen on other 991 models thus far. Panels of pistachio shades found on the toe cap and heel contrast the rest of the shoe, while a muted off-white “N” logo featured on the lateral wall balances the colour blocking.

Moving to the sole, things are more conventional. Tan and cream colouring feature on the midsole which houses the Nike Air Zoom unit that supports the upper, while a black outsole brings the look together. The subtle contrasts in textures and tones help modernise the original trainer while maintaining its luxurious British heritage.

The New Balance 991v1 “Oyster Grey” releases March 19, 2026 for $270 via NewBalance.com and selected retailers.

New Balance 2010 “Raincloud” Brings Layered Greys For Spring 2026

Soft neutral tones continue shaping New Balance’s everyday lineup. The brand has leaned heavily into layered greys recently, especially across its newer lifestyle silhouettes. That direction continues with the New Balance 2010 “Raincloud,” a colorway scheduled to land in Spring 2026.

The upper begins with a mesh base in light grey allowing for airflow and freshness. Steel grey suede covers the toe, sidewalls, and heel areas which help mold to the foot. Darker synthetic supportive pieces run from the toebox all the way through the midfoot for longevity and minimalistic layering. Bright silver reflective tongue tab adds silent excitement when struck by light.

Below, the midsole shifts slightly warmer. Cream and soft tan tones break up the cooler shades above and help frame the exposed ABZORB pods in the heel. That visible cushioning detail speaks to New Balance’s long focus on comfort-driven engineering. At the same time, it keeps the model grounded in the brand’s performance heritage.
