The Pack includes two models built in a mixture of suede and mesh that comes in either a Marina/Dark Copper-Total Orange or Varsity Maize/Blue Spark colorways. Today, Converse Inc. debuts the Fall 2013 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Wiz Khalifa collection featuring 12 new styles inspired by the artist’s rebellious and fashion-forward style. The collaboration marks Khalifa’s first footwear collection and celebrates the artist’s eye for bold detail and subtle luxury. Rapper Wiz Khalifa hails from Pittsburgh, Penn., and went from breakthrough artist to feature film star in the short span of two years. Khalifa’s use of the word “Taylor” hails from the high school that he attended, which, coincidentally, is where his long-time affinity for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers began.
“I’ve always gravitated toward Converse because of how solid the brand is. It’s clean and it’s classic,” said Wiz Khalifa. “I was excited to collaborate with the team at Converse because I felt they really got my individual style and vision. After securing two consecutive NBA Finals MVP awards, LeBron James is finally drawing Michael Jordan comparisons that are actually favorable. In theory, time is on James’ side as he’s a year younger than Jordan was when his Bulls steamrolled the Portland Trail Blazers for a second title. After all, if Jordan was able to stay productive into his mid-30s, then LeBron should be similarly blessed. It would seem that James is on pace to match or eclipse MJ’s absurdly high level of play in these upcoming years, with no baseball break to slow him down. The battle is on.
But this isn’t exactly a fair generational fight. Unlike MJ, LeBron isn’t getting a gigantic, league-sanctioned gift.

The Air Jordan 3Lab5 is slated to debut next month and today we share some new detailed images of the packaging that includes the marketing inserts. The Air Jordan 3Lab5 comes packaged in a nice Lab-like hologram box that includes some interesting cardboard inserts explaining the philosophy of the history of the Elephant Print as well as the Jordan Element Series.
