Air Jordan 1 Retro High “BHM”

It looks like Jordan Brand will be releasing more than one Air Jordan 1 Retro High “BHM” releases this year. Given photos of the Black/Purple-Gold pair, we now take a first look at the other “Black History Month” drop. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High features a Burgundy and Gold makeup branding with the BHM logo on the tongues with a special tribal pattern on the inner lining.

Check out the first look at this new “BHM” Air Jordan 1 Retro below and notice that there is an all Black pair shared in the photo of the other two “BHM” models that features a “23” print on the heel panel. Launched originally in 2011, the Nike KOBE VII System maximized performance innovation with a customizable approach – giving athletes support and cushioning options.

Beyond performance benefits, the KOBE VII System tells a predator story that’s inspired by Kobe Bryant’s predator-like instinct on the court. Predator patterns come to life in the shoe’s outer shell as a “skin” simulating the look of three predator patterns mixed together – the Leopard, Great White Shark and Black Mamba.

The Kobe Prelude VII plays on cubist art and Bryant’s 2012 gold victory in London. The graphics, portrayed in a cubist style, have a dynamic composition that features the mamba, Bryant’s No. 10 worn in London, and additonal storytelling elements to form a mural look. On the heel, there is a laurel wreath around the number 10, again in a cubist styling.

The Kobe Prelude Pack features all eight of Bryant’s signature shoes and celebrates the stories behind some of his most defining moments. Eight revolutionary art movements have been paired with eight milestones in Bryant’s career to recreate each of his signature shoes.

Each shoe will be available in limited quantities on Nike.com (North America, Greater China and Western Europe) and at select retailers in North America and Greater China. The Kobe Prelude VII will be available on Saturday, Jan. 18.

There is no question that Marvel movies have been cleaning up the box office throughout the years. With so many Marvel characters to select from, Van Monroe decided to create a Nike Air Foamposite Pro that features several Marvel Comics most recognizable names.

Using the “Gym Green” Nike Foamposite as the base to deign his latest Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Marvel Madness” Custom. Featuring a Black upper with Red accents and sole finished with Black paint outlines of those characters that includes The Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, Iron Man on the right while Spiderman, Thing, Thor, and Deadpool, and Cyclops cover the left. The first Air Jordan 3 release of 2014 gets the “Powder Blue” treatment this Saturday, January 18th. These classic J’s feature a Powder Blue leather upper, with hits of black on the elephant print, tongue and midsole. White is also showcased on the midsole and prominently on the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel. To see how you can score a pair these kicks this Saturday, check out our release details below.

In partnership with mall management, SELECT Foot Locker and House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Powder Blue” (on sale 1/18/13 for $170). The sweepstakes tickets will be given out Wednesday, January 15th and Thursday, January 16th. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Friday, January 17th. These procedures are for SELECT STORES only. Mache Customs puts together a special Li-Ning Way of Wade custom dubbed “What the Wade” which he uses previous themes and transforms them into one model.

On Mache’s latest design, he explains them below:

“What the Wade” mixing some of the more notable themes from the Li-ning #wayOfWade 1. Represented on this are the Shanghai, #teamnosleep, gold rush, both blue and purple all star stingwades, dynasty, Christmas, caution, Veterans Day, warrior, code red and announcement. This one is for all the way of wade fans, not everyone is gonna like it, and it’s supposed to be that way.
