Kanye West Releases More YEEZY Slides

UPDATE 8/29/25: Kanye has dropped two new Yeezy Side colorways, “Fudge” and “Silver/Green”, now available on the Yeezy website. Same design as the adidas Yeezy Slide, but drops adidas branding and costs $20 less. Stay tuned for upcoming pairs.

Original Story 8/11/25:
Kanye West has officially relaunched YEEZY.com, unveiling a fresh lineup of footwear and apparel just months after being dropped by Shopify. Now hosted through a different domain provider, the updated site features eight independently-produced shoe styles that move away from his adidas-era partnership.

The headline release is the YS-01 slide, a stripped-down $20 version of his popular adidas Yeezy Slide, which last restocked in June 2024. Other items include Yeezy Pods (PD-01), Yeezy SL-01 slides, Yeezy sculpted heels, and Yeezy Sculpted Boots, which are tight-fitting and tall boot styles. Yeezy’s latest iteration comes with the same minimal style and aesthetic that he is known for, with a shift towards more exaggerated silhouettes and lowered price points.

While all products are available now, buyers should note mixed feedback from recent orders, with some reports of shipping delays or fulfillment issues. This could reflect growing pains from operating outside major retail platforms.

The full collection can be found on the YEEZY.com website and will be available while supplies last. Prices start at $20 for the YS-01 slides and go up for each style such as the HL-01 boots and the heels.

Vans Old Skool 36 “Souvenir Burgundy” Releases September 15th

UPDATE 8/29/25: The Vans Old Skool 36 “Souvenir Burgundy” has been confirmed to release on September 15th via Vans.com for $125 USD.

Original Story: 7/29/25:
Vans is diving deep into luxury inspiration with its latest release, the Old Skool 36 “Souvenir.” This special edition nods to the Chanel graffiti messenger bag from the Spring/Summer 2015 runway.

The silhouette is a wearable tribute to high-fashion rebellion. The uppers feature distressed canvas, mimicking the hand-painted chaos of the original Chanel piece. Multicolor tweed Jazz stripes run along the sides, while worn brown leather overlays and Vans-themed pins bring a collector’s flair.

The inside pops with a deep purple sockliner, and the aged vintage-style midsoles round out the design. Each pair looks like it’s been lived in and loved—just like the fashion piece that inspired it.

This isn’t the first time a skate brand has flirted with high fashion, but this may be one of Vans’ most direct references. It’s also a clever nod to the DIY culture of skateboarding and the rare appeal of haute couture.

The Vans Old Skool 36 “Souvenir” has already started arriving at select Vans Vault retailers and premium boutiques. An online release is set for July 31st for $125 USD.

Metagirl Studio x Saucony ProGrid Paramount Releases September 2025

UPDATE 8/29/25: The Metagirl x Saucony ProGrid Paramount has surfaced with official images and confirmed release details. The sneakers first dropped via metagirlstudio.com. An exclusive early launch hits Naked Copenhagen on September 5th, followed by a worldwide release September 12th. Pricing is $220 USD / €250 across all partners. Stay tuned for launch links.

Original Story 8/19/25:
Metagirl, the Boston-born and Italy-based designer, is linking up with Saucony for a new spin on the Progrid Paramount. The collab is called “Daughter of the Moon”, and it feels different from her usual jeweled customs. This time the shine comes more from mood than sparkle, and that’s exactly the point.

No crystals here. Instead, lace edges the collar while a shaped heel clip pulls the design tight. Pearl tones lead the way, broken up with hits of lavender that soften the overall look. It’s clean, but still has that Metagirl signature.

The name isn’t random either. “Daughter of the Moon” pulls from Vedic ideas—pearls, water, lightning. Symbols tied to movement and change. It adds story to the shoe, and you feel it once you know the background.

The choice of model matters too. Back in the day, the Progrid Paramount sat at the top of Saucony’s running line. Right alongside the Omni 9 and the Triumph 4. Sneakerheads who ran in those years will get the callback instantly. This collab digs into that history instead of chasing trends.

No set launch yet, but the Metagirl x Saucony Paramount is expected in September 2025. With the way this project is being teased, expect it to stay on people’s watchlists until the drop.

Oklahoma Sooners Unveils Air Jordan PE Cleats For 2025 Football Season

College football’s opening week brings heat to the field with the Air Jordan 4 Cleats Oklahoma Sooners PE 2025. Jordan Brand continues its tradition of outfitting partner schools with exclusive footwear, and Oklahoma players are stepping out in style.

Following the formula from earlier basketball exclusives, these cleated Air Jordan 4s swap in team-specific details. Dressed in bold crimson with white mesh, black accents, and Sooner branding on the tongue, the design delivers instant recognition. The companion Air Jordan 1 Low Cleats Oklahoma Sooners PE carries a cleaner crimson and white layout, paired with animal-print overlays for a unique twist.

These pairs are true player exclusives, meaning they won’t release to the public. Still, fans can appreciate the craftsmanship and storytelling. That Sooner logo on the tongue? That’s the detail sneakerheads will notice immediately.

Oklahoma Football has already showcased both cleats on social media, giving fans a closer look. Expect these to dominate highlight reels all season.

This Nike Air Max 90 Has A Croc Skin Mudguard

The Nike Air Max 90 “Black Croc” is an elegant take on the retro runner.

Decorative croc-embossed leather sheathes the mudguard for an instant touch of luxury. Black tones carry through on the eyestays, heel badge, outsole, and midsole wedge for a clean finish.

Tumbled white leather on the toe box and collar breaks up the darkness of the upper. Neutral “Fossil” tones drape the quarter panel, while the Swoosh is a darker “Desert Khaki.” Creamy-toned “Sail” makes an appearance across the tongue, insoles, and premium leather tongue tag. That combination of neutral tones makes this sneaker design refined and versatile.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Black Croc” will launch in Fall 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers.

The Air Max 90 has gradually transitioned from a performance runner to a lifestyle silhouette over its years of releases. The next iteration is no exception, and it continues to give sneakerheads a low-key but confident option.

Nike Air Rift Appears in Another Stealthy Colorway

The Nike Air Rift here features a stealthy color scheme and familiar split-toe DNA. Launched in 1996, the original Rift drew inspiration from Kenyan barefoot runners—and this pair channels those minimalist roots.

On the upper, black leather and Iron Grey mesh share the load. Midfoot and heel Velcro straps create a secure, fuss-free fit. Bold is the word that comes to mind when describing this minimalist design. Throwback Reflect Silver Swooshes provide just enough contrast to make a statement without stealing the tonal show.

The tabi toe? Still attention-grabbing, and ready to start a conversation. The “AIR” branded sculpted midsole and rugged black outsole provide shock absorption and grip for all-day use.

The Nike Air Rift “Black/Iron Grey” releases Fall 2025 on Nike.com and at select retailers for $125.

New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth” Drops September 11th

A mix of autumnal hues and traditional crafting, the New Balance 991v2 “Gold Earth” brings a unique makeover.

This British exclusive dons a heavy dose of warm, earthy burnt orange. Premium pig suede from Flimby’s historic factories top a mesh underlay, with muted grey accents for contrast and additional utility. The color blocking is softened by off-white and cream midsoles.

Seasonal, chic, and sure to be a solid workhorse, there are a few other important details. Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Green Camo” Returns Summer 2026

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Green Camo” will return for Summer 2026, reworking a key iteration from 2013. Elevating the sporty silhouette with a bolder military look, the camouflage re-coloration of the Foamposite proved to be a fan favorite within Nike’s basketball archives.

Detailing for the reissue sees the signature molded Foam shell decked out in camo hues of forest green, beige, brown and black. The eyestays and collar are sheathed with black nubuck overlays, and Nike outfits the tonal mesh tongue and laces in the same tones. A shiny black Swoosh on the side is met with smaller Volt Swoosh logos that help create bold contrast at the toe and heel. There are other military text details including “N-758384” and “PRO97”, as well as neon chevron pull tabs. Nike outfits the shoe with a gum rubber outsole, resulting in a footwear collaboration that is steeped in hoops heritage and rugged streetwear charm.

While Foamposite was extremely popular in the late ’90s and early 2000s, the silhouette is not as hot today. Still, Nike has been dusting off and re-releasing select Air Foamposite models. While it’s a no-brainer to reach back for long-time collectors, it’s also a method of reengaging folks that may have missed the silhouette in the last 10+ years. The concept of keeping the Foamposite brand in the conversation, especially with an iconic or loud colorway like “Green Camo” is a massive factor in when one compares recent releases to the retros.

Its release comes alongside other signature Foamposite Pro drops for Summer 2026, including the “University Blue”, “Gym Red” and “Voltage” colorways.

Original Story 7/2/25:
Nike is bringing back the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Gym Red” in Summer 2026 as part of its retro revival plans.

This bold colorway features a full Gym Red Foamposite shell with sharp Black accents on the eyestays, laces, tongue, and outsole. It nods to earlier releases like the “Varsity Red” from 2002 and the “University Red” from 2016.

First released in 1997, the Foamposite Pro gained popularity through daring colorways and bold streetwear crossovers. For 2026, the “Gym Red” pair joins other planned drops like the “University Blue” and “Black” versions.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Denim” Set To Age Better Than White AF1s

This Nike Air Force 1 replaces the classic leather build with a sturdier material.

Nike’s classic AF1 build is often a canvas for color and texture changes. Black denim takes the place of leather and suede for a scruffier look. Stitched eyelets and Swoosh details carry over in a tonal finish. Nike Air branding is visible on the backtab and subtly applied. The black midsole and outsole follow suit, with a hint of contrast on metallic lace dubraes

Denim on sneakers isn’t new, from the recent Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 Pack to Nike SB Denim makeups. The worn texture gets better with wear, especially as it compares to white AF1s that require more upkeep.

KEEN UNEEK Loafer WK “Black” Now Available (August 2025)

UPDATE 8/28/25: The KEEN UNEEK Loafer WK in “Black” is now available via KEEN.

Original Story 8/21/25:
KEEN is dropping something different with the UNEEK Loafer WK, landing August 28th in smooth black leather. It’s not just another slip-on — this one balances casual sneaker energy with a dress shoe’s edge.

The design pulls straight from KEEN’s DNA. Woven cords wrap the forefoot and collar, a detail longtime fans will recognize from the UNEEK sandal line. Here, though, it leans closer to a boat shoe vibe, which honestly feels like the right call for today’s loafer wave.

Comfort gets plenty of attention too. The pair rides on KEEN.CURVE cushioning, a sole made for all-day wear. Try them on and you’ll feel the difference compared to stiff loafers you’d normally avoid after a few hours. It’s practical, but also sneakerhead-friendly.

Retail is set at $190 in unisex sizing. Limited pairs release through keenfootwear.com and select shops. If past hybrid models are any clue, these won’t sit for long.
