Air Jordan 40 Honoring Jordan Brand’s Original Roots

The Air Jordan 40 gets a classic “Chicago” makeover, and it leans heavy into Jordan Brand’s most iconic DNA. White leather sets the stage, broken up by black details and those familiar Varsity Red accents. The Sail midsole adds a slightly aged feel, the kind that reminds you of worn-in classics from the past.

Here’s the real headline: for the first time ever, a flagship Air Jordan gets stamped with the Nike Swoosh. That’s paired with the Wings logo, giving the shoe a mix of old-school heritage and something brand new.

Underfoot, Jordan Brand introduces ZoomX cushioning — light, responsive, and built for performance. The outsole combines cream and red zones with a sharp black heel piece. It’s technical, but it also looks futuristic in a way that feels different from previous Jordan models.

The Air Jordan 40 “Chicago” will release on November 1, 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $205 USD.

Nike Kobe 11 Elite Protro “Mamba Out” Returns Summer 2026 To Celebrate Mamba Day

The Nike Kobe 11 Elite Protro “Mamba Out” will return in Summer 2026, a special Mamba Day release marking its 10th anniversary.

Back on April 13, 2016, Kobe Bryant played his final NBA game. That night sparked the first “Mamba Day,” and Nike dropped the Kobe 11 through NikeiD (now Nike By You). Fans were able to tweak colors and add their own touches, making it one of the most personal Kobe releases ever. Many still see it as the perfect send-off sneaker.

The 2026 version sticks with the original design. Black Flyknit covers the upper while metallic gold accents stand out against the dark base. Hidden across the shoe are nods to Bryant’s journey — his 81-point game, 18 All-Star nods, five championships, and 20 years in the league. A crisp white hit on the heel and a translucent icy sole round things out.

This was the pair that closed an era, and bringing it back only makes sense. It’s a reminder of one of basketball’s greatest goodbyes — and one of the cleanest Kobe models ever made.

Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” Returns September 2025

UPDATE 8/21/25: The 2025 Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” releases on August 23rd in Japan through SNKRS Japan. It will launch in the U.S. on September 27th. The reissue commemorates the 2011 “JORDAN TOKYO 23” event in Yoyogi Park and features the nostalgic Kanji embroidery on the heel.

Original Story 5/23/25:
Heads up, sneaker lovers—the Air Jordan 5 Tokyo 23 is finally making a retro return this Fall 2025. First dropped in 2011 to honor Jordan Tokyo 23 in Japan, this bold sneaker is back with all the flair fans remember and love.

This Air Jordan 5 features a standout yellow suede upper that’s impossible to ignore. Wolf Grey touches hit the tongue, side netting, and eyelets, adding balance to the vivid design. Black accents on the laces, heel, and shark teeth midsole bring the contrast. The embroidered Kanji logo on the side gives it a cultural boost sneakerheads go wild for.

Rumors suggest two versions of the Air Jordan 5 Tokyo 2025 may release—one featuring the classic Jumpman logo, and another with Nike Air branding, similar to the Undefeated Air Jordan 4 drop strategy. Whether that’s true or just sneaker myth, we know one thing: these Jordans are getting special packaging and will fly off shelves faster than a Tokyo bullet train.

Returning in OG form, the Jordan 5 Tokyo 2025 joins a growing lineup of heritage retros. Related models like the Air Jordan 5 Raging Bull and Air Jordan 5 Green Bean have also seen successful returns. The demand for retro Jordans just keeps growing.

Kith x adidas Running Collection Releases August 22nd

Kith Classics and adidas Running have collaborated on a six-pack collection to celebrate more than 60 years of performance history. The Heritage Running collection looks back at major milestones in adidas’ footwear timeline, re-releasing iconic models from across the decades.

The collection begins in 1972 with the introduction of the ultra-lightweight SL 72 OG, a catalyst in distance running. From there, it moves to 1983 New York and the collection’s webbed midsole, 1991 Oregon Ultra Tech, and early 2000s Supernova Cushion 7. Next up is 2013 Energy Boost, before culminating in adidas’ current race-day offering, the Adizero Boston 13. This will be the first time adidas has co-branded this model.

Design-wise, each shoe offers heritage cues with updated elements such as mesh uppers, leather overlays, and metallic details, all taken from archival research. Some pairs are given multi-color accents while Kith branding adorns the tongue, heel, and sockliner of each. The collection also comes in custom packaging and features a runner’s bib, marking the year each model originally debuted.

The collection will drop through the Kith App on August 20–21. A limited amount of pairs will release August 22nd in Kith stores and online at Kith.com global regional sites.

Nike Gato “Liquid Gold” Now Available (August 2025)

UPDATE 8/21/25: The Nike Gato “Liquid Gold” is now available on Nike.com.

Original Story 4/7/25:
Nike is turning heads this year with bold indoor soccer-inspired styles. The Gato silhouette returns for Summer 2025 in a loud and shiny makeover called “Liquid Gold.”

This striking colorway mixes nostalgia and flair in a fresh way. The upper is covered in glossy metallic gold leather with quilted stitching across the toe. Cutout mesh panels and triangle-shaped detailing keep the look sporty.

Nike stays true to the original indoor soccer DNA with a gum rubber outsole. A white Cushlon midsole adds comfort while also breaking up the bold gold upper. Mesh tongues, tonal gold laces, and white Nike branding round out the theme.

Although flashy, the Gato “Liquid Gold” still feels wearable and sleek. The mix of performance cues and street-ready details gives it wide appeal.

Fans of retro soccer shoes or shiny statement kicks will love this one. Plus, the clean color blocking makes it easy to pair with casual or sporty fits.

The Nike Gato “Liquid Gold” releases August 21, 2025. It will be available at select Nike Sportswear stores and online at Nike.com. Men’s sizing will retail for $115 USD.

Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 2025 Friends and Family With Jumpman Logo Revealed

UPDATE 8/21/25: A closer look at the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 2025 Friends and Family edition. While this pair remains exclusive, the retail version with “Nike Air” branding releases August 28th via SNKRS.

Original Story 7/31/25:
The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 is making headlines 20 years after its initial release due to the re-release set to take place in August 2025. In addition to the retail reissue, a pair of Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 2025 Friends and Family edition has surfaced online for the first time, showcasing a new take on a classic silhouette.

Air Jordan 4 x Undefeated Ballistic Looksee Sample from 2005 in olive green with black and orange accents
Original 2005 Air Jordan 4 x Undefeated “Ballistic” Looksee Sample — the blueprint for the 2025 Friends & Family edition.

This Friends and Family edition pays homage to the original 2005 “Ballistic” sample. The entire upper is reworked in a textured material dubbed “Traffic Jam,” which imparts the military-inspired colorway with a rougher, more tactile quality. Unlike the retail version that is set to drop which features “Nike Air” branding on the heel, this Friends and Family exclusive replaces it with a blacked-out Jumpman logo on the heel tabs, a small but significant detail. The interior of the shoe maintains that familiar orange lining a refection of the MA-1 flight jacket influence.

Release Date & Where To Buy

The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 2025 reissue will launch August 2nd exclusively at Undefeated, followed by an August 28th SNKRS release, priced at $230 USD. That version will be truer to the OG with an olive nubuck upper, black TPU accents, Velcro logos, and exposed Air cushioning.

But for some, this Friends and Family version will be the true grail.

Kith x BIRKENSTOCK Celebrates 50 Years of The Iconic Clog

Kith x BIRKENSTOCK’s ongoing collaboration rolls into Fall 2025 with a new interpretation of the brand’s Boston clog. Celebrating the silhouette’s imminent 50th anniversary, the brands drop the Braided Boston, building on the hand-braided artisanal techniques from the style’s 2023 London drop.

Crafted in premium cow suede, the clog features woven detailing throughout the upper. Each pair features co-branded accents, such as Kith Script embossed details and BIRKENSTOCK’s signature buckle hardware. A rainbow insole peeks through the braids on the White pair, while Taupe and Mocca both come in tonal colorways.

The silhouette nods to BIRKENSTOCK’s heritage while providing it with a contemporary, fashion-forward point of view.

The Kith x BIRKENSTOCK Braided Boston will arrive this Friday, August 22nd, in men’s and women’s sizing. It will drop at Kith stores and available at Kith.com and 1774.com.

Bodega x Salomon XT-4 OG “The Glider” Escapes The 9-to-5

The Bodega x Salomon XT-4 OG is almost here. Leaked shots circled online earlier this month, and sneakerheads were quick to react. A lot of people already call it one of Salomon’s cleanest lifestyle pairs so far.

Bodega gave it the name “The Glider.” Fits perfectly. The colors lean earthy—browns, greys, muted tones—then that teal streak across the midsole jumps out. Trail-ready bones are still there, but the styling tells a different story.

Instead of just showing hikers and mountains, the campaign flips it. Old computers. Tangled wires. Cubicles. Sneakers on tired office floors. It’s a 90s throwback vibe that turns the XT-4 into more than just outdoor gear. As one fan wrote under the promo pics: “Finally, a Salomon you can wear to work and still hit the trails after.”

That’s what Bodega does best. Their collabs—from early Nike Dunks to recent New Balance runs—always attach meaning beyond the shoe itself. This XT-4 feels the same. Less about terrain, more about breaking routine.

The Bodega x Salomon XT-4 OG “The Glider” launches August 23rd through Bodega for $200. A global release follows August 28th. Don’t expect them to last long.

New Balance Abzorb 2010 Samples Showcase Bold New Directions

Early images of the New Balance 2010 samples have started to leak online, sparking plenty of chatter across sneaker forums. The silhouette has been picking up momentum this year, and these test pairs hint at where New Balance could be taking it next.

One sample sticks close to tradition. It comes in the familiar New Balance grey, highlighted with bright yellow ABZORB pods. Clean, simple, and wearable—the kind of pair fans would happily rotate daily.

The second sample feels more experimental. It mixes warm suede overlays with layered mesh and rough stitching details. The look has a hand-made vibe, almost unfinished in the best way. Some are already suggesting it could be linked to a collaboration, though nothing has been confirmed.

The third pair stands out immediately. A snakeskin-like texture runs across the upper with thin black chains draped over the panels. Add in an aged midsole, and it reads more like a concept piece than a standard release. A few sneakerheads online even compared it to earlier ideas teased by Joe Freshgoods.

Together, these New Balance Abzorb 2010 samples show how versatile the model can be. Classic or wild, New Balance clearly has big plans.

KEEN Joins The Sneaker-Loafer Trend

KEEN is dropping something different with the UNEEK Loafer WK, landing August 28th in smooth black leather. It’s not just another slip-on — this one balances casual sneaker energy with a dress shoe’s edge.

The design pulls straight from KEEN’s DNA. Woven cords wrap the forefoot and collar, a detail longtime fans will recognize from the UNEEK sandal line. Here, though, it leans closer to a boat shoe vibe, which honestly feels like the right call for today’s loafer wave.

Comfort gets plenty of attention too. The pair rides on KEEN.CURVE cushioning, a sole made for all-day wear. Try them on and you’ll feel the difference compared to stiff loafers you’d normally avoid after a few hours. It’s practical, but also sneakerhead-friendly.

Retail is set at $190 in unisex sizing. Limited pairs release through keenfootwear.com and select shops. If past hybrid models are any clue, these won’t sit for long.

New Balance Made in USA Fall/Winter 2025 Collection by Teddy Santis

New Balance just unveiled its Made in USA Fall/Winter 2025 collection, directed by Teddy Santis. The 992 is the clear star of the show, presented in four colorways. We’ve got an earthy tan, olive, a bright sky blue, and a deeper purple. They each look a bit different but fit into Santis’ overall look of toning down some looks while pushing the limits on others.

The 990v6 returns too, done up in olive and brown, beige with cream, plus an olive–navy combo. The shapes stay the same, but the tweaks in color blocking give every pair its own identity. Sneakerheads will notice those small shifts right away.

Other entries include a 997 in yellow and a 1300 in rich brown. Both round out the lineup and remind fans that Santis is still pulling from New Balance’s deep archive, not just focusing on one model.

Some pairs are already out at select shops. Others will drop gradually over the next few months. With lifestyle shots highlighting the entire capsule, this Made in USA collection looks like one of Santis’ strongest runs yet. Good luck grabbing your size when the rest land.

Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 991 Spotted in Fall/Winter 2025 Lookbook

Teddy Santis is giving the original New Balance 991 some shine again. The pair shows up in the Aimé Leon Dore Fall/Winter 2025 lookbook, a switch from the newer 991v2 that’s been in the spotlight since last year. Choosing the first model feels intentional—almost like a call back to where things started.

The shoe mixes off-white mesh with red underlays and rich brown suede. The palette instantly grabs attention. Some will even see shades of the old SB Dunk “Bison,” though here it carries ALD’s cleaner finish. Shown with a western-style coat from the collection, it fits right into Santis’ layered look.

It’s worth noting the timing. Since the 991v2 came out in 2023, the original version hasn’t had much presence. Bringing it back now, heel-to-toe drop and all, shows a clear focus on heritage. That detail alone will matter to collectors.

No firm release info yet. But with the ALD x New Balance 991 already pictured in the lookbook, a launch is clearly on the way. And when it does happen, don’t count on pairs sitting around.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Reveals New Balance “Desert Heat” Collection

New Balance is dropping the Desert Heat Collection on August 28th, only through Foot Locker. Arizona Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is the face of the campaign, photographed in the desert with pairs that fit right into the scenery.

The highlight is the 1906R. One colorway mixes black and blue mesh with bright hits of yellow, green, and pink. It’s loud but balanced. The second pair is a women’s exclusive, leaning heavy into red and pink with black details. Both versions keep the layered 1906R shape but push it in different directions.

And then there’s the New Balance 1000. This one comes in black, pink, and green, almost giving off a watermelon vibe. Suede and ripstop materials toughen the shoe up, while leather panels keep it from going over the top. You can see why the 1000 keeps gaining traction—early-2000s sneakers have a way of sliding back into today’s style rotation.

The New Balance Desert Heat Pack lands August 28th at Foot Locker, and Champs already has some pairs listed. Good luck grabbing your size—these kinds of retro runners rarely stay on shelves.

New Balance 2000 “Light Chrome Blue” Releases September 3rd

The 2000 “Light Chrome Blue” is sure to satisfy retro sneakerheads while appealing to everyday style seekers.

Throwback elements like off-white midsoles, metallic silver overlays and grayish ABZORB pods ooze nostalgic vibes. At the same time, details like the breathable mesh upper with contrasting “Light Chrome Blue” details make the shoe feel fresh and modern. These smart updates nod to New Balance’s past while looking firmly forward to the future.

Performance is also in the forefront of the design. The cleverly engineered split pod ABZORB system gives the shoe superior responsive support and comfort. The bold chrome finish on top is just the cherry on top, giving the sneaker standout style and attitude.

The New Balance 2000 “Light Chrome Blue” will launch on September 3, 2025, with a price tag of $170. They will be available at NewBalance.com and a variety of other retailers.

Nike Astrograbber “Fir/Phantom” Releases August 26th

Originally released in 1974, the Nike Astrograbber was purpose-built to perform on America’s nascent artificial turf football fields. Arriving only a year after the Waffle Trainer, the silhouette came with an innovative, studded outsole for maximum traction and maneuverability. Today, Nike is resurfacing the vintage silhouette with an updated interpretation that straddles its sporty lineage and current streetwear allure.

In 2025, the all-leather silhouette is available in a striking combination of Fir green and Phantom tones. Sail accents help add contrast, while a tinted Fir outsole adds a premium touch. Additional laces are included with the pair, completing the detail-oriented retro treatment from Nike. Though once a gridiron exclusive, the Astrograbber’s sleek, streamlined design should easily transition into a contemporary lifestyle staple.

The Nike Astrograbber “Fir/Phantom” will launch August 26th on SNKRS and select retail partners for $135.

Sneakerheads and vintage collectors alike will certainly take notice of the thoughtful update.

Nike AlphaFly 3 “Eliud Kipchoge” Honors The No Human Is Limited Legacy

Nike’s next “Eliud Kipchoge” capsule, the Nike AlphaFly 3, will be inspired by his lifelong mantra, “No Human is Limited.” The title is also Kipchoge’s upcoming autobiography and a call-to-action for athletes to push past limits, both perceived and actual.

This energy comes through in the shoe, which sports a lightweight synthetic upper. Bold neon green Swooshes and a vibrant array of color pop on this background. A gradient midsole transitions through pink, orange, and purple, reflecting Kipchoge’s fearless mentality. No Human is Limited is even graffitied across the midsole tongue.

For additional messaging, a custom drawstring bag is included in the pack. Featuring hand-drawn Swooshes in a variety of bright hues, it is a reflection of the shoe itself. Both items serve as a great reminder of Kipchoge’s contributions to modern distance running.

The Nike AlphaFly 3 “Eliud Kipchoge” will drop Fall 2025 at Nike.com and select retailers for $295.
