Jordan Brand is bringing back an exclusive regional release with the return of the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0” in May 2025. Originally launched in 2018, this sneaker honored South Korea’s 1988 Olympic Games and was a Seoul-exclusive. It later resurfaced in 2020 in women’s sizing, but now, it’s making a full return with subtle updates.

The 2025 Air Jordan 3 “Seoul” keeps its white, blue, red, and black colorway. The signature elephant print overlays and Nike Air branding on the heel remain. However, Jordan Brand is adding vintage details, like a yellowed midsole for an aged effect. The elephant print has a more distressed look, and the translucent outsole is now solid grey. The midfoot and upper eyelets switch from black to white, creating a cleaner design. The royal blue ankle collar now features stitched cotton instead of leather, inspired by traditional Korean garments.
A key detail of this sneaker is the South Korean flag embroidered on the tongue, keeping its cultural significance. While the original Korean text behind the tongue is unconfirmed, it could return as a nod to Seoul’s sneaker culture.
