Late 1990s runner is on full display with the New Balance 1000 “Silver/Black/Concord.” Set to release Fall 2025, this 1000 model has a very Y2K runner vibe with chunky overlays, airy mesh, and futuristic details.
The upper uses a mix of black mesh and metallic silver overlays, with reflective details. The brand’s iconic “N” logo is featured on both sides of the shoe, while the “1000” logo is featured on the heel tab near the forefoot. The “1000” is also featured on the heel tab near the forefoot. Concord purple accents on the midsole add a pop of color and contrast to an otherwise metallic shoe.
The ABZORB cushioning tech also harkens back to New Balance’s performance line in the 1990s. The black outsole is more sculpted and detailed to offer traction.
The New Balance 1000 “Silver/Black/Concord” is releasing Fall 2025 on NewBalance.com and select retailers for $150 USD.
The 1000’s retro design also pulls from current nostalgia trends of repping the most slept-on runners from the past.
