Jumping more toward the tech-forward side of NB’s lifestyle offerings is the New Balance 5030 “Metallic Silver.” While these might evoke thoughts of the Slam Jam collab out of the box for some NB fans, there’s no collaborating company here and the color palette is slightly cleaner.

The metallic silver upper is definitely where it’s at. The signature wavy design of the 5030 is coated in a metallic silver shade that resembles liquid. Dark grey accents traverse the shoe’s panels and segment out the silhouette even further, giving definition to each curved panel. On the side is a classic black N logo keeping the branding to a minimum with black hits on the tongue and heel as well.

Grey details bring the shine back down a bit. The mesh tongue, padded collar, and ABZORB midsole all use a softer cloudy shade, giving the sneaker some balance instead of going full chrome. Around the heel, semi-translucent ABZORB pods add to the tech-heavy look while also tying into the model’s comfort-focused build.

Nike has revealed the Nike Mind 002 Flyknit “Pure Platinum” through its new Nike Verified platform inside the SNKRS app. The feature gives fans an early look at upcoming releases while adding more background to one of Nike’s most experimental footwear lines.

The Mind series gained major attention earlier this year through Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Concept Testing project. Both the Nike Mind slide and sneaker arrived with Fragment branding and sold out quickly, leaving many wondering how far Nike would push the model beyond that collaboration.

After years of delays, the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Flea 1 is finally back in motion for 2026, and the rollout is starting with a headline-grabbing twist. A special edition tied to Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack imprint has surfaced, signaling renewed energy around the long-awaited silhouette.

This exclusive version leans into earthy tones, pairing a tan base with crisp white overlays and hits of forest green. Signature Cactus Jack details immediately stand out, including the reverse Swoosh across the side panels and the face logo stamped near the heel. The design keeps CPFM’s unconventional DNA intact while blending in Travis Scott’s recognizable aesthetic.

The Flea 1 itself carries a complicated history. Initially introduced in 2022, the model never saw a full launch due to production setbacks, despite early looks at the “Barley” colorway circulating online. While the “Overgrown” pair briefly hit retail, most versions were ultimately shelved.
