Mike Tyson Narrates Nike Ryder Cup AD Campaign

Today is the first day of The Ryder Cup and Nike is shining a light on golf’s biggest names. Rory McIlroy is at the forefront of Europe’s team while Scottie Scheffler leads Team U.S.A. The two have one of the most watched rivalries of the tournament.

Nike debuted a new short film to celebrate the start of the competition. Narrated by boxer Mike Tyson, the spot captures the drama of a fight night, with some street culture added in for good measure. New York City-based street golf legend @tigerhoodnyc is seen hanging up a poster, hyping up the upcoming showdown between McIlroy and Scheffler.

Nike is clearly stoked to highlight the battle between McIlroy and Scheffler, as the narrative nods back to the brand’s past of bringing sports and culture together. From Jordan on the basketball court to Tiger Woods’ worldwide influence, Nike proved that it still has the winning formula when it comes to storytelling with this latest piece.

The Ryder Cup drama is upon us and Nike’s story telling kicks it up a notch. You can watch the campaign ad below.

Only Losers of the Mars Yard 3.0 Can Buy This Tom Sachs Nike General Purpose Shoe

If you missed the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 3.0 through the I.S.R.U. program, here’s a second chance. Nike and Sachs introduce the General Purpose Participation Shoe, created as a thank-you release for those who came up short in the draw.

First revealed on the Complex Sneakers Podcast, this sneaker carries the same stripped-down appeal as the 2022 General Purpose Shoe. Even its campaign mirrors the original rollout, with offbeat ads highlighting its purpose as an exclusive consolation drop for I.S.R.U. participants. That detail makes this pair one of the most unique NikeCraft releases to date.

The shoe has a tonal grey upper accented by light yellow on the Swoosh and forefoot piping. Red I.S.R.U. branding pops on the heel, side panel, and pull tabs, directly connecting the sneaker to the program. This particular design details have Tom Sachs’ utilitarian flavor, but do not dilute Nike’s storytelling edge one bit. The shoe is also subdued, yet collectible, much like previous NikeCraft drops.

Pre-orders are live now in the I.S.R.U. app for $110, but access is strictly limited. Only those who entered and lost the Mars Yard 3.0 draw are eligible. Orders will ship in Summer 2026, making this pair both a consolation prize and a collectible for sneaker fans.

The Nike x Tom Sachs General Purpose Participation Shoe shows us that losing can be winning. It isn’t a Mars Yard 3.0, but it is a continuation of Sachs’ mission to combine the banal utility of day-to-day survival and the art of cultural narrative. For fans, this one’s worth the shelf space.

Converse Taps Into SHAI 001 Buzz With New Chuck Taylor Pack Release

October 2nd will be a day of back-to-back debuts for Converse. In addition to dropping Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature SHAI 001, they’re also releasing a Chuck Taylor All Star pack.

The silhouette will be released in black, blue and tan colorways, mimicking the family themed colorways from the original SHAI 001 collection.

While these new Chucks aren’t directly affiliated with Shai, they allow sneakerheads to get a piece of the action without having to try and hunt down one of the limited signature pairs. The Chuck Taylors provide a classic look with a hint of Shai’s signature hype. That is a very Converse move – mixing nostalgia and relevance.

Release Date & Where To Buy

Given the fact that the SHAI 001s are likely to sell out immediately, these Chucks may very well be the best way to get in on the hype. They will release on Converse.com and at select retailers on October 2nd.

The mixed black mesh/dark grey overlays get a fresh vibe with the angular Game Royal accents.

Nike has updated the Air Max 95 here and there in recent years, but this iteration feels especially fresh. The mini embroidered Swoosh in royal blue is a premium touch. That’s the kind of detail that’ll catch sneakerheads’ eyes at first glance.

Air visibility is another win as the Game Royal units under the heel and forefoot add to the sneaker’s comfort. Reflective 3M hits lace up the side panels for style and visibility.

Nike SB Nyjah 4 “College Grey” Skates Into Fall 2025

Nike SB’s signature program stays crisp with the Nyjah 4 “College Grey”, a forward-thinking design built for skateboarding.

First released back in 2018, the Nyjah line has focused on technical constructions built for heavy skating. Continuing that trend, this new colorway of the 4 features breathable mesh uppers with translucent overlays that expose a Dark Grey Swoosh underneath. The forefoot is perforated for airflow without compromising on a slim fit that offers ultimate control.

Stamping at the translucent heel counter in Bright Crimson Nike SB branding contrasts the neutral colorway, while pull tabs on the sides make for easy on-and-off. An icy midsole provides cushioning for every landing and a heel Swoosh in Mink Brown appears when placed on the ground. Pink fade detailing in the outsole is another bold design element.

The Nyjah 4 “College Grey” drops Fall 2025 for $115 USD via Nike.com and select skate shops.

South Park Crocs Releasing September 26th

UPDATE 9/25/25: The South Park Crocs collection, originally planned for September 12th, will now release September 26, 2025. The drop is confirmed and will be available on Crocs.com.

Original Story 8/26/25:
Crocs has partnered with South Park for a playful riff on the Classic Clog silhouette. Inspired by the show’s most iconic characters, the collaboration spotlights Eric Cartman, Kenny McCormick, Towelie, and Randy Marsh, with each Croc imbued with the cartoon personalities of their life-size counterpoints.

Every design is accented with character-specific details. Towelie’s variant is finished with a soft terry cloth texture, while Kenny’s comes with a faux-fur fleece lining as a direct nod to his signature parka. Cartman’s red and blue version is outfitted with bright red uppers, contrasting blue accents, and pom-poms that mimic his signature winter hat. Randy’s bold turquoise uppers are adorned with custom Jibbitz charms paying homage to his South Park misadventures.

Details on charms across the collection add an extra layer of detail as South Park aficionados will immediately spot. Creative cues like these are a nice diversion from more usual Crocs drops as the collaboration bridges the gap between pop culture nostalgia and everyday comfort. Crocs collectors and South Park fans will feel like it’s a special crossover moment when they add a pair to their rotation.

Oregon Ducks Reveal Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Mummy Duck” PE

Oregon Football continues to showcase some of the wildest sneaker exclusives in college sports. Alongside the recent Nike Vaporposite cleats, the team unveiled a spooky “Mummy Duck” edition of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro.

Inspiration for this pair was drawn from mummy wrappings of ancient times. Its Foamposite shell features a sandy tan hue and embossed bandage-like textures. Glow-in-the-dark outsoles and sinister green accents pop under stadium lighting, giving the sneaker an unearthly vibe. The signature jeweled Swoosh is outfitted in dark green, while frayed textures are used to emphasize the mummy-wrapped theme. For its part, the Oregon Ducks’ mascot gets a ghoul makeover on the heel, donning a skull face and cartoonish bandages. That touch alone gives the pair a feel more like Halloween special edition than team PE.

The Oregon Ducks have a history with Nike of dropping some of the most sought-after Foamposites and cleated exclusives. This “Mummy Duck” is no exception, combining sneaker culture with performance shoe. While sneakerheads will see some colorways of previous glow-in-the-dark Foam releases, this pair is given a unique collegiate twist.

Sadly, the Oregon Ducks Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Mummy Duck” will not release to the public, staying locked to the team and its athletes.

Nike SB Nyjah 4 Simplified In Black And White

The Nike SB Nyjah 4 “Black/White” continues Nyjah Huston’s signature line with a performance-focused design to skate timelessly.

First released in 2018, Nyjah’s SB line has been known for their balance of strength and flexibility, which carries over into the fourth model.

The upper is a lightweight mesh construction, with durable overlays for surviving all your daily skating. The shoe is coated in matte black, with a white Swoosh and laces for a clean, bold contrast. That simple two-tone aesthetic provides utility for anything from skating to streetwear.

Nike has also added a rubberized heel clip for stability, and a pull tab for easy on-and-off. Zoom Air cushioning is placed for impact protection, and the herringbone pattern outsole sticks to the board. Sneakerheads will also recognize an embossed “NYJAH” on the heel, a shoutout to Huston’s influence in contemporary skateboarding.

The Nike SB Nyjah 4 “Black/White” will be available Fall 2025 at Nike.com and select skate retailers for $110 USD.

Kim Kardashian’s Nike SKIMS Collection Releases September 26th

The anticipated NikeSKIMS Collection has arrived. Kim Kardashian’s multifaceted powerhouse brand partners with Nike in a long-term collaboration launching on September 26, 2025. The collaboration, SKIMS’ most expansive to date, marks an intersection between the brand’s fashion-forward style and Nike’s athletic prowess.

NikeSKIMS collection is available in four fabrics including Dri-Fit Matte, Shine, Airy and Vintage Seamless. All materials are made for performance to keep wearers cool and comfortable while training or just going about their daily routine. Leggings, sports bras, track jackets, and cargo pants are offered in a muted tonal color palette that will fit seamlessly within the SKIMS brand’s existing repertoire.

NikeSKIMS separates itself from the pack by embodying the mission behind the collaboration as much as the clothes themselves. The SKIMS brand has long been focused on celebrating all bodies and championing inclusivity, while Nike has maintained that “everybody is an athlete” under their own marketing campaigns. The beauty of the NikeSKIMS launch is that by combining forces with a star-studded cast including Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles and Beatriz Hatz, they are able to make that idea tangible for everyone. Serena even took to social media to rave about the collection, calling it “butter on your skin” and that it made her feel “invincible.” This type of athlete endorsement sneakerheads will not be able to ignore.

Nike’s recent approach to teaming up with influential cultural powerhouses is nothing new. Past collaborators like Nike x Off-White, took sneaker culture and streetwear as a whole to another level. However, NikeSKIMS Collection 2025 raises the bar for lifestyle sportswear. In my opinion, this collection does more to tie together performance and streetwear than many of Nike’s past launches.

NikeSKIMS Release Date

The initial drop from the NikeSKIMS Collection 2025 will be available on September 26, 2025 at Nike.com, SKIMS.com and select Nike and SKIMS flagships. This collaboration has all the makings to be one of the most talked about drops of the year so be sure to not pass up on this one. See all the official images and drop info below.

Original Story 8/30/25:
Here we are with the Sporty & Rich x adidas Adistar Control 5 dropping throwback vibes with chrome overlays and tight geometry.

adiPrene cushioning keeps the ride comfy, while plush tongue details and a cubic-patterned midsole offer this nostalgic revival a retro-futuristic flair. It’s this mix of old-school build with a modern-day feel that sets this drop apart.

Sporty & Rich doesn’t reinvent the design but rather refines it with signature green accents. Both white/teal and silver/teal pairings channel a minimalistic, almost muted approach that feels both timeless and fresh.
