Nick Young has signed with adidas and to make sure everyone knows about it Swaggy P rocked the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost in last night’s game.
Kanye West stated that you can rock the Yeezy Boosts while playing ball, and Nick Young took Ye upon his word and ended up putting up 13 points in the Yeezy 750s.
“I just signed with Adidas: Welcome to the three stripes, Swaggy P,” he said to The Associated Press. “And I had to come in with some style, and that’s basically what it’s all about.”
“It was the Yeezys tonight that got the assist for him,” he joked when talking about dishing out his first assist to Kobe Bryant.
“You’ve got to do something to try to get your spirits up while you losing and all that, and that’s where I find confidence and my joy and trying to keep doing it, keep doing stuff like this,” he said.
“It felt good,” he said. “It actually felt good on my feet. I was worried about the same thing, but once I put them on and got out there on the court, it was just time to play.” When asked about his fear of getting hurt.
There is no plans of Nick Young getting his own signature shoe like newly signed James Harden, but you can expect Swaggy P to be rocking plenty of retros and don’t be surprised if you see him rock more Yeezys on the court in the future.
Check out the additional images below and let us know what you guys think in the comments section. How many of you would rock Yeezys while playing basketball? Maybe Kanye will eventually create a basketball shoe down the road for all athletes to wear in games.
