Where To Buy The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance ABZORB 2000

Joe Freshgoods is back—this time painting Paris pink with his latest sneaker, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance ABZORB 2000. Dubbed “Everything Comes From Pink”, this bold bubblegum creation proves Joe isn’t afraid to let his color palette do the talking.

This collab marks the first-ever remix of the New Balance ABZORB 2000, and it’s coming in loud. Dressed in bright pink mesh and synthetic overlays, the sneaker flexes matching ABZORB SBS cushioning pods for comfort and extra bounce. And because it’s a Joe joint, you’ll find “jfg” branding replacing the usual tongue logo—because Joe does what Joe wants.

But don’t bother camping out at your local store—this drop is Paris-exclusive. According to Joe’s own posts, pairs will be given out in the streets during Paris Fashion Week, not sold. Yes, you read that right. No checkout page. No bots. Just vibes.

He calls it part of his “passion project era,” and honestly, we’re here for it. A love letter in pink, straight from Chicago to the City of Lights.

If you want a pair of these sweet kicks, keep your eyes on Joe’s socials around June 21, 2025. These sneakers will vanish faster than your last bag of pink Starbursts.

Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG Golf “Purple Punch” Now Available (June 2025)

When it comes to reinventing classics, Nike Golf just can’t help itself—and we’re not mad. This time, they’ve teed up the Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Purple Punch”, a flashy, spike-less remix made for the greens. Think of it as a golf shoe with a flair for drama—because subtlety is overrated.

Instead of sticking with the same old Air Max 1 vibes, Nike took a detour through the Air Huarache color vault. That’s right, “Purple Punch” is back, bringing early-’90s nostalgia with it. The upper rocks a combo of white, black, and royal purple, giving us just enough swagger without screaming look at me! (Okay, it kinda screams.)

You still get that iconic “Big Bubble” midsole—because yes, your feet deserve comfort while flexing on the fairway. And while this pair may not come with spikes, the updated outsole means you won’t be sliding into the sand trap like it’s a slip-n-slide.

The Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Purple Punch” drops June 20, 2025 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. Retail therapy damage? $170 USD. Fair warning: your old golf shoes will be jealous.

Whether you’re a diehard sneakerhead or just want to look cooler than your golfing buddy, this pair delivers. Don’t miss this punch of style—because golfing should never be boring.

This updated version comes dressed in Black, Varsity Red, Wolf Grey, and White. While it keeps familiar features like the visible Air unit, mesh side panels, and black nubuck upper, the RM (Restomod) version introduces some fresh details. The silhouette is more streamlined, featuring futuristic overlays and a refined midsole design. However, the Nike Air branding on the heel adds a nostalgic touch, keeping the sneaker grounded in its roots while embracing modern design.

Nike Shox R4 “USA” Now Available (June 2025)

If you like your sneakers as loud as fireworks, the Nike Shox R4 “USA” is strutting back just in time for July 4th. Originally released in 2020 and inspired by Vince Carter’s Olympic dominance (though Nike won’t confirm it), this pair practically screams “USA!” without needing a bald eagle to land on it.

The colorway? Classic. Red, white, and blue all the way through. A navy synthetic build hugs the sides while bright red Shox columns provide bounce for days. Meanwhile, a crisp white upper keeps things fresh—like that new t-shirt you pretend is “vintage.” The Swoosh is red with a white outline, because subtlety isn’t the point.

Though the look hasn’t changed much, one update sneaks in—a slick black outsole with red circles for grip. Whether you’re chasing sparklers or your dog, you’ll stay grounded in style.

Retailing for $155 USD, the Nike Shox R4 “USA” drops June 20, 2025 via Nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers. Mark your calendar and set that reminder—you know how quickly heat sells out.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Barons” Now Available (June 2025)

It’s been 40 years of Air Jordan dominance, and we’re still getting hit with fresh heat. Enter the Air Jordan 1 Mid Barons—the sneaker nobody asked for but somehow everyone will want. Inspired by Michael Jordan’s Minor League moment with the Birmingham Barons, this pair is ready to pitch style fastballs.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid Barons rocks a clean black, grey, and white color combo—because nothing screams “baseball legend” like neutral tones and nostalgia. While it channels the 2014 High OG “Barons” version, this Mid skips the pinstripe collar lining. Sacrilege? Maybe. Sleek? Absolutely.

Of course, the classic Jordan 1 sole remains untouched, because if it ain’t broke, don’t lace it differently. And sure, it’s a Mid, but let’s not pretend we’re too good for comfort and style.

These will quietly hit stores and cart buttons on June 20, 2025 at Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com for a fair $130 USD. Your wallet won’t cry—unless you miss the drop.

In short, the Air Jordan 1 Mid Barons blends baseball tribute with legendary style. Don’t sleep—MJ didn’t switch sports for nothing. These might not hit homers, but they’re definitely stealing bases in the fashion game.

Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn “Shattered Backboard” Now Available (June 2025)

The Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn “Shattered Backboard” is back to remind you that velcro isn’t just for toddlers anymore.

This sneaker pays tribute to one of the most beloved AJ1 colorways of all time—yes, the 2015 Shattered Backboard. However, Jordan Brand gave it the EasyOn treatment, meaning it’s got velcro, a zipper, and zero chill about it.

No black outsole this time. Instead, we get a slightly muted look, complete with orange hits and a white midsole. It’s like the OG—but it moonlighted at a senior center for a while and came back reinvented.

Also, that zipper at the heel? Perfect for folks who believe tying laces is a cruel joke from the past. Combine that with the velcro strap and you’ve got sneakers your uncle and your little cousin can both flex in.

Expected to drop on June 20, 2025 via Nike.com, the Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn “Shattered Backboard” will retail for $135 USD in men’s sizing. It’s the perfect pick if you love the AJ1 legacy but also love convenience… and drama.

Nike Settles Lawsuit With The Shoe Surgeon Over Trademark Infringement

Nike is suing powerhouse sneaker customizer Shoe Surgeon. In a lawsuit filed today, it accused the Surgeon aka Dominic Ciambrone, of running an “illicit ‘Nike’ empire.”

Nike alleges that Ciambrone has been creating counterfeit “Nike” sneakers, selling them as officially branded products, and teaching others to do the same. The company claims that Ciambrone’s activities are illegal and deceive consumers.

Nike valued its relationship with Ciambrone and did not have any issues with the limited, one-of-one customization he has been doing for them or their clients. However, the company says that Ciambrone has begun to mass-produce counterfeit “Nike” sneakers, which are not authorized by Nike and do not meet the company’s high standards.

Nike is seeking a legal solution to address Ciambrone’s activities and to protect its brand and intellectual property. The company is also seeking to prevent Ciambrone from teaching others to create counterfeit “Nike” sneakers.

Nike is pursuing compensation for damages relating to over 30 of its trademarks, amounting to more than $60 million. They are also seeking the profits the defendant earned from counterfeiting, tripled, in addition to attorneys’ fees.

The Shoe Surgeon has not yet responded to the lawsuit.

Nike’s lawsuit against Ciambrone is a major development in the ongoing battle between the company and sneaker customizers. It remains to be seen how this case will be resolved.

In the meantime, consumers should be aware of the risks of buying counterfeit sneakers. Counterfeit sneakers may not be made with the same high-quality materials as authentic sneakers, and they may not be as durable. Additionally, counterfeit sneakers may not be covered by the same warranties as authentic sneakers.

If you are considering buying a pair of custom sneakers, it is important to do your research and make sure that you are buying from a reputable seller. You can also check with Nike to see if the customizer is authorized to sell Nike products.

Nike has a long history of protecting its brand and intellectual property. The company has sued other sneaker customizers in the past, and it is likely that it will continue to do so in the future.

The lawsuit against The Shoe Surgeon is a reminder that Nike is serious about protecting its brand and intellectual property. It is also a reminder that consumers need to be careful when buying custom sneakers.

UPDATE 6/19/25: Nike has officially settled its high-profile lawsuit with The Shoe Surgeon over unauthorized use of its Nike trademarks. The legal case, originally filed in 2024, ends with the customizer agreeing to pay Nike an undisclosed sum.

Under the terms, The Surgeon is banned from using any Nike branding that may confuse customers. However, he may continue creating 1-of-1 custom sneakers, but only under strict Nike-approved conditions.

This marks the end of a major legal battle in the world of sneaker customization and trademark enforcement.

UPDATE 7/19/24: Representatives from The Shoe Surgeon have contacted Sneaker Bar Detroit with an official statement regarding the lawsuit filed by Nike.

The Shoe Surgeon’s official statement below:

“It’s a dream to collaborate with legendary brands. Especially with the brand who tells us to believe in something. Who tells us it’s only crazy until we do it. Tells us the best is yet to come. Tells us to be better. To just do it.

We are confused Nike has chosen litigation over a discussion, but we are confident with proper dialogue and collaboration we can resolve this with the new management team and turn it into a win for the culture.

Creating defines us. Our pursuit of greatness is the soul of every creation and authenticity is stitched into our DNA.

Where there is unity, there is victory.“
