Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” Returns March 2027

Jordan Brand is bringing back one of its most iconic original colorways. The Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is expected to return in Spring 2027, adding another major retro to an already strong lineup while bringing back a pair that always carries weight with longtime fans.

First released in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” remains one of the most recognizable shoes in the model’s history. Its White, Carmine Red, and Black color blocking helped set it apart early, while its connection to Jordan’s first championship season added even more legacy. The pair later returned in the 2008 Countdown Pack, again in 2014, and most recently in 2021.

For 2027, early expectations point to a familiar setup that stays close to the original. That means a White leather base, Carmine nubuck overlays, Black accents on the tongue and midsole, and Nike Air branding on the heel. Other classic details should also return, including the lace lock, visible Air unit, and translucent outsole.

Because the 2021 pair dealt with some quality concerns, there will be extra attention on how this version is executed. Even so, demand should be strong from the start. The “Carmine” Jordan 6 has always been one of those releases that speaks for itself.

Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” 2027 Release Date

The Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is currently scheduled to return on March 13, 2027 through Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. Additional release details are expected to surface in the months ahead.

Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” Returns June 2026

UPDATE 4/19/26: New images of the Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” have surfaced, giving us a better look at the 2026 retro. The updated shots highlight the black nubuck upper, University Blue accents, reflective tongue, contrast stitching, and icy outsole. The pair is currently expected to release on June 20, 2026 for $220.

Original Story 10/7/25:
The Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” was originally released in 2006 as part of the original Lifestyle (LS) series and is set to officially return in Summer 2026 celebrating its 20th Anniversary. This Air Jordan 5 has become one of the most sought after colorways from the series for its clean, collegiate-inspired color palette and quality materials.

Featuring nearly the exact same design as the OG, this retro is composed of Black nubuck uppers accented by bold splashes of University Blue and White paint. Signature 3M reflective tongues, translucent mesh side panels and contrast stitching that draw attention to the Air Jordan 5s built up details. The University Blue lining and embroidered heel will also get a pop of “UNC” style color Jordan fans are used to.

While “Black/University Blue” is loved in its own right, in the mid-2000s, it released during the LS era in which Jordan Brand began the strategy of launching limited sneakers with corresponding apparel and exclusive pieces. This association with clothing is part of what has made the colorway so legendary over the years, especially amongst collectors who missed the opportunity to own a pair when it was originally available for such a limited time. The 2026 retro continues the sneaker company’s recent pattern of dusting off classic mid-2000s releases, including but not limited to “Burgundy” and “Green Bean”.

Details like the icy translucent outsole, lace locks and OG-style packaging complete this trip down memory lane that honors its 2006 roots. It’s a winning formula: heritage, quality materials, and a color balance that is both timeless and fresh.

Converse SHAI 001 Premium “Ink” Releases May 14th

Converse is moving Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature line in a more elevated direction with the SHAI 001 Premium, which will debut in an “Ink” colorway. Set to hit the court during Game 1 of the Western Conference First Round, the new pair gives the silhouette a cleaner and more refined look while keeping the performance-driven foundation that has defined the model from the start.

A monochromatic navy finish gives the SHAI 001 Premium “Ink” its sharpest visual statement. The upper is wrapped in natural leather, while the heel overlay follows with the same smooth material treatment for a more premium build than previous versions. Tonal branding and debossed logo hits keep the design understated, allowing the shape and texture of the shoe to do most of the work.

Performance remains central to the design despite the upgraded presentation. Converse equips the SHAI 001 Premium with a radial traction pattern for multidirectional movement, forefoot Zoom Air for responsive cushioning, and an over-lasted midsole that helps create a lower, more stable ride. That combination lines up well with the way Shai plays, relying on balance, control, and constant pace changes.

Converse SHAI 001 Premium “Ink” Release Date

The Converse SHAI 001 Premium “Ink” is scheduled to release on May 14, 2026 through select basketball retailers, SNKRS, and Converse.com. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price tag is set at $150 USD.

With Shai expected to introduce the pair on court before launch, this colorway should give the model even more momentum heading into the postseason spotlight.

Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 3 “Mocha”

The Air Jordan 3 “Mocha” remains one of those retro releases that grew into a favorite over time rather than arriving with instant hype. First introduced in September 2001, the pair marked an important moment for the model as one of the earliest non-OG Air Jordan 3 colorways. Jordan Brand later brought it back on December 15, 2018, giving a new generation another shot at a color scheme that had already built a quiet following.

White tumbled leather gives the upper its clean foundation, while Dark Mocha elephant print wraps the toe and heel for the pair’s signature contrast. Brown details also land on the outsole, tongue branding, and heel Jumpman, keeping the look balanced without changing what made the original stand out. The shape stayed close to the earlier version, which helped the 2018 retro preserve the feel of the 2001 release.

The Air Jordan 3 “Mocha” never had the loud rollout of some of the brand’s bigger retros, and that is part of what makes it memorable now. The 2001 pair was overlooked by plenty of buyers at the time, while the 2018 return also landed without major hype. Years later, that softer reception has only helped the shoe build more of a cult-classic reputation among Jordan collectors.

To this day, the shoe still holds up because the color blocking is simple, wearable, and tied to an era when Jordan Brand was expanding beyond original colorways.

Anyone still chasing a pair can usually find sizes through resale platforms like StockX, but its appeal now feels stronger than it did during either of its retail runs.

Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing” Returns March 2027

Jordan Brand appears ready to bring back one of the Air Jordan 3s most memorable non-OG colorways. The Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing” is expected to return in Spring 2027 for its 20th anniversary, reviving a release that has remained a classic since its limited 2007 debut.

What made this pair stand out from the start was its connection to Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing, a film that still carries weight in both sneaker and culture discussions. The original release pulled from the movie’s artwork and arrived during Jordan Brand’s LS era, which gave it a more limited and lifestyle-driven feel. That mix of rarity, storytelling, and bold color blocking helped turn it into a standout Air Jordan 3 release.

Early expectations point to a retro that stays close to the 2007 version. That should mean a blue nubuck upper paired with matching elephant print overlays, white accents through the tongue and collar, and gold hits on the eyelets, heel branding, and midsole detailing. Green branding on the tongue is also expected to return, helping preserve the pair’s distinctive look. One detail still up in the air is the heel branding, as it has not yet been confirmed whether Jordan Brand will go with the original Jumpman logo or switch things up with Nike Air.

The timing also lines up perfectly. A 2027 return would mark 20 years since the sneaker first released, giving Jordan Brand another strong anniversary retro to build around.

The Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing” is currently expected to release on March 27, 2027 through Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. Stay tuned for further updates.

Air Jordan 5 “Phoenix Suns” Releases March 2027

The Air Jordan 5 “Phoenix Suns” is expected to join Jordan Brand’s Spring 2027 lineup in a Phoenix-inspired color scheme. Although the pair no longer appears set to release before NBA All-Star Weekend, it still lands during the same season Phoenix will host the 2027 NBA All-Star Game.

This upcoming pair is expected to take cues from Shawn Marion’s Air Jordan 5 player exclusive from his Suns era. That PE was made in both white and black versions, but this retail pair is expected to follow the white-based look. While the overall design is said to stay close to Marion’s pair, small changes could still be made before release.

White leather is expected to cover the upper, while purple and orange accents bring in the Suns theme. Those colors are expected to appear on the midsole, branding, and other small details throughout the shoe. Silver reflective material on the tongue, classic side netting, and translucent outsole sections should keep the release in line with the traditional Air Jordan 5 build.

Branding will be one of the details to watch as more information surfaces. Early expectations point to “23” detailing and Jumpman branding, although Nike Air branding on the heel has not been ruled out. That part has not been confirmed, so it remains something to monitor as release details continue to develop.

Devin Booker Debuts Nike Book 2 “Mandarin” PE Inspired By The Air Max 95

Devin Booker gave the Nike Book 2 another strong early identity by stepping on court in a Player Exclusive inspired by the Nike Air Max 95 “Mandarin.” The pair continues a clear design thread between Booker’s signature line and one of Nike’s most recognizable runners, while also reinforcing how much the Air Max 95 still shapes the visual language around his footwear.

Nike Air Max 95 Bright Mandarin 2025 lateral side
Nike Air Max 95 “Bright Mandarin” (2025)

The Nike Book 2 “Mandarin” PE pulls key details from the classic Air Max 95 with layered grey paneling, mesh-heavy construction, and bright orange accents that immediately stand out against the neutral base. An orange Swoosh, matching heel tabs, and hits along the tongue and lining give the shoe its bold contrast, while the black sole keeps the look grounded. The overall build feels like a basketball-ready translation of the Air Max 95 rather than a direct copy.

Booker’s connection to the Air Max 95 makes this concept feel more personal than random. The model has already influenced earlier entries in his signature catalog, including Book 1 colorways like the “Neon” and “Greedy,” and that same inspiration now carries into the next chapter. This latest PE shows Nike is still finding fresh ways to blend Booker’s story with heritage running design.

Booker has become one of the league’s most consistent wear-testers for unreleased colorways, so the Nike Book 2 “Mandarin” PE could be the latest of several exclusives to surface during the Suns’ postseason run.

Jordan Tatum 4 “Black/Ice Blue” Delivers One Of The Cleanest Tatum 4 Colorways Yet

The Jordan Tatum 4 “Black/Ice Blue” is crisp with stealth black upper and bold Ice Blue detailing. Jordan Brand isn’t afraid of contrast on this signature, giving Jayson Tatum’s fourth signature shoe a unique aesthetic that feels sleek and futuristic while maintaining functionality on the court.

Predominantly black on the upper, we’re seeing what appears to be smooth suede or nubuck-style material on panels while breathable mesh is used on the tongue, collar, and sides of the shoe. The darker tone allows the shoe to remain sleek while bright Ice Blue accents on the midsole pop just enough to stand out. Textured grooves along the sidewalls of the shoe emphasize performance capabilities even further with an aggressive and speedy design.

Iridescent details help break up the darker build in a smart way. The lateral Jumpman shines with a reflective finish, while the tongue logo carries that same flash. “FIND A WAY” is molded into the midfoot area, and “CUSHLON 3.0” appears near the heel to spotlight the cushioning setup. Underneath, the outsole features a black herringbone traction pattern with Ice Blue hits worked into the bottom.

Heel details continue the clean theme with oversized “0” branding and subtle Jumpman placement near the lower back. Inside, the tongue tags read “Deuce” and “Dylan,” giving the pair a personal touch linked to Tatum’s family. That balance of personal storytelling and wearable color blocking makes this one of the more versatile Jordan Tatum 4 colorways so far.

The Jordan Tatum 4 “Black/Ice Blue” releases on May 1, 2026, for $125 via Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike Air Max Plus “Dark Raisin/Liquid Lime” Glows With Rainbow Reflective Details

The Nike Air Max Plus “Dark Raisin/Liquid Lime” brings a darker edge to the classic Tuned Air runner. Dark Raisin covers the mesh upper, while Active Pink outlines the signature TPU cage for a bold layered look. Black works across the mudguard, tongue, laces, collar, and midsole, giving the sneaker a tougher finish that helps the brighter accents stand out.

Liquid Lime adds the sharpest contrast on the pair. The mini Swoosh pops along the sidewall, while the visible Air units bring that same energy underfoot. Tuned Air branding remains in place on the heel and outsole, and the black rubber sole keeps the overall look aggressive. Pink detailing through the midfoot shank area adds even more depth without taking away from the main color story.

Reflective elements give this Air Max Plus another strong detail. When hit with flash, the cage lights up and completely changes the mood of the shoe. The insoles also add some personality, with one featuring Swoosh branding and the other showing a ghost-like graphic. That mix gives the pair a slightly playful twist against its otherwise dark finish.

Nike continues to push the Air Max Plus with colorways that feel loud without losing the model’s identity, and this one does that well.

18 East x KEEN Jasper Zionic Pack Available Now

Introducing the newest edition to KEEN’s steady stream of killer collaborations. By teaming up with other likeminded brands and stylish communities, KEEN has been building some serious momentum as of late with clever story telling centered around some of their flagship footwear. Continuing down that road, the 18 East x KEEN Jasper Zionic pack sharpens up the silhouette with luxurious fabrics, multidimensional textures, and mirrored embroidery that brings the upper to life.

The black colorway takes the bolder route. Hairy suede wraps the mudguard and heel, while reflective stitched graphics spread across the upper for a look that feels technical and rugged. A tonal black midsole and aggressive outsole keep the shoe grounded in trail function, and the side-mounted rope lace detail adds an extra hit of utility-driven design.

Styled down in softer tones, the “Abbey Stone/Mermaid” pair leans towards pastel beige hues and washed olive greens. Embroidered graphics add more dimension to the upper while suede overlays provide a rich feel as opposed to basic. An olive hued sole unit completes the look, allowing for an organic outdoor vibe that pairs nicely.

Both pairs do a good job blending everyday wear with trail-ready character, which is exactly why this collaboration works. The 18 East x KEEN Jasper Zionic pack is available now through KEEN, 18 East, and select retailers for $170.

Sashiko Gals x New Balance 993 Turns 1 Hotel Tokyo Into A Sneaker Gallery

The latest Sashiko Gals x New Balance 993 project was created as a special installation for 1 Hotel Tokyo, where the handcrafted pairs are now on display in the property’s signature 38th-floor lobby. Rather than arriving through a normal retail rollout, this project was built to reflect the hotel’s sustainability-driven identity, giving the classic Made in USA runner a more artistic and story-rich presentation.

Each pair stands out through visible hand-stitching, layered textile panels, and patchwork details that bring Sashiko Gals’ signature approach to the New Balance 993. The mix of traditional repair-inspired techniques and premium New Balance construction gives the shoe a one-off feel, while the earthy setting at 1 Hotel Tokyo adds even more depth to the presentation. From the exposed stitching to the fabric swaps, the design leans heavily into craft, reuse, and Japanese textile influence.

The pairs will remain showcased at the hotel for about six months, making the installation itself the main event. That also means most fans will only get to see this Sashiko Gals New Balance 993 through images, since there is no wider launch planned.

Only 10 pairs were made available earlier this month through a Japan-exclusive custom order.

New Balance 991v2 “London Marathon” Combines Premium Craftsmanship With Race-Day Flavor

New Balance continues to align itself closely with the London Marathon, and the connection doesn’t go unnoticed with this special-edition 991v2. As one of the race’s major sponsors, the brand wanted to do more than dress runners for the big day. Instead, New Balance crafted a Made in UK release that fully represents the spirit of one of the largest races on the calendar.

The New Balance 991v2 “London Marathon” sports a bold combination of teal green, aqua blue, and neon pink. Suede overlays are used to ground the pair in the high-end aesthetic the 991v2 is known for, but instead of the standard mesh underlays, NB went another direction. Thicker synthetic material was used on the toe box and side panels of the shoe, utilizing a crosshatch pattern that helps it feel more technical than your average inline offering.

Neon pink branding brings the loudest contrast on the sneaker. The outlined “N” logo on the side panels stands out immediately, while matching pink New Balance branding lands on the tongue. LDN detailing at the lateral heel gives the marathon theme a direct nod, and the insoles continue that story with London Marathon branding printed in bright pink.

The result is one of the more interesting 991v2 colorways tied to a major event this year. It keeps the familiar Made in UK quality intact, but the material swap and marathon-specific details help it feel more purposeful than a simple themed edition.

The New Balance 991v2 “London Marathon” is currently listed to release on April 23, 2026 through New Balance UK.

New Balance TF100 Debuts in Black And Brown With Junya Watanabe Collab

New Balance’s TF100 is beginning to find its own identity sporting a technical meets fashion-forward design. The standout detail of the shoe is the contoured FuelCell midsole separated into two parts leaving an open panel through the midfoot. This design element provides a more aggressive aesthetic and the outsole takes this a step further with a molded rubber wrap around the forefoot and lateral aspect of the shoe as well as an individual pod at the heel.

New Balance has already begun rolling out the TF100 in both inline and collaborative form. Standard black and brown pairs keep things clean with a layered mix of suede, leather, and mesh, while reflective cutout “N” logos give the upper a sharper finish. Junya Watanabe’s take moves in a more refined direction by replacing the suede side panels with leather and switching the cutout branding for a simpler line-art “N.”

That contrast helps show how flexible the TF100 platform can be. The inline pairs lean into modern sport style with more texture and depth, while the Junya Watanabe collaboration strips things back for a sleeker, more fashion-forward look. Both approaches still let the model’s bold sole design do most of the talking.

The Black New Balance TF100 is available now on New Balance’s website for $140. The Dark Brown colorway is scheduled to release on April 29th, while the Junya Watanabe collaboration has already launched through select European retailers.

ASICS Gel-Kinetic 2.0 Surfaces in “Clay Grey”

The ASICS Gel-Kinetic 2.0 “Clay Grey” gives the brand’s tech-runner catalog another strong entry, pairing early-2000s running DNA with a sharper lifestyle edge. Black open mesh sets the foundation across the upper, while glossy black synthetic overlays add structure and contrast. Clay Grey panels wrap the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and midsole, giving the shoe a clean neutral balance that keeps the busier design grounded. Silver ASICS side stripes bring everything into focus and push the performance-inspired look even further.

Metallic gold details quietly elevate the color scheme without taking over the shoe. The gold shows up on the tongue branding, lace dubrae detail, outlined ASICS logos, and inside the visible GEL pods, adding just enough pop to break up the black and grey build. That small touch gives the pair a more premium finish and helps it stand apart from standard neutral runners.

The sculpted midsole is the clear focal point of the design. Clay Grey foam is paired with a glossy black support frame that surrounds the oversized visible GEL cushioning, creating a bold and futuristic shape from every angle. The heel especially stands out thanks to the dramatic tooling, while the dark grey and Clay Grey outsole keeps the look consistent underfoot.

Air Jordan 14 “Chartreuse” Returns January 2027

The Air Jordan 14 “Chartreuse” is set to return in 2027, bringing back one of the more overlooked Jordan releases from the mid-2000s. First released in 2005, the colorway stood out for its bold mix of Light Graphite and bright Chartreuse accents, giving the model a sharper and less traditional look. With Jordan Brand continuing to revisit deeper cuts from its archive, this pair feels like a natural one to bring back.

Light Graphite suede is expected to cover most of the upper again, giving the shoe its soft, understated base. Chartreuse Green details then break through on the branding, heel, and outsole, while black works across the midsole, heel, tongue, and much of the rubber underfoot. That contrast is what made the original pair stand out, and it still feels different compared to most Air Jordan 14 releases. Early word suggests the 2027 version will stay close to the 2005 pair, though the shape is expected to be updated.

The Air Jordan 14 already carries strong history on its own. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by Michael Jordan’s love for Ferrari, the silhouette is known for its sleek lines, shield badge, and performance-driven look. It also holds extra weight because Jordan wore the model during his final championship run with the Bulls, giving every retro a little more significance.

Air Jordan 14 “Chartreuse” 2027 Release Date

The Air Jordan 14 “Chartreuse” is currently expected to release on January 16, 2027, through select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com for $215 USD.

With its sharper color blocking and deeper-cut status, this return should easily grab the attention of longtime Jordan fans looking for something outside the usual retro rotation.
