Yohji Yamamoto expands the Y-3 line with his latest take on the adidas Stan Smith by debuting the adidas Y-3 Stan Smith Zip silhouette.

This interpretation of the classic adidas Stan Smith features a premium all-White leather upper that’s highlighted with metal zippers on each side of the shoe. Embossed, Y-3, Yohji Yamamoto and adidas elements feature to the heel, tongue and sole unit respectively.

Both the adidas Ultra Boost and adidas NMD are two of the hottest silhouettes on the market right now.

Within the past few years, adidas has really stepped their game up to compete with giant sportswear brand, Nike.

The Ultra Boost and NMDs have been selling like hotcakes, even causing some YEEZY-like lineups on certain releases. Not to mention even reselling over their retail price tag.

Majority of the reason on why both shoes are so highly demanded is the simple fact of the comfort level they offer. You really can’t go wrong with either shoe you pick.

But in like every case, there are always debates on which is a better shoe. So if you guys had to pick either the adidas Ultra Boost or adidas NMD, which would you select?

Dave White Air Jordan 1 Wings For The Future 2012

The Dave White x Air Jordan 1 Wings For The Future was the second installment of the Air Jordan 1 by Dave White that debuted on February 11th, 2012 for $175 USD.

This Air Jordan 1 came dressed in the iconic Jordan Brand color scheme having a mixture of Black, Sport Red, White and Cement Grey. They even used the elephant print on the forefoot laces-strap.

White actually created four design options for this shoe, each implementing expressive elements. While eye-catching from the jump, White thinks that it’s the details that sneakerheads will appreciate from these kicks.

“As people see them in the flesh all the little touches that make them special will unveil themselves. The use of artist grade canvas on the tongue, textured paint printed onto white upper, the laces and sock liners with the stitched wings logo and the box really is the icing on the cake.”

The release also included matching Jordan DW Wings crew t-shirts to commemorate the release.

Jeffery Harrison, 33, better known as the social media sensation dubbed “CDA MJ” after he was spotted playing pickup basketball fully dressed to look like Michael Jordan.

While being a Michael Jordan fan for majority of his life, little did he know he was about to receive the biggest surprise directly from his icon, MJ.

Harrison has been infatuated with Michael Jordan since he was 4-years-old. He has been wearing the Jordan uniform since 2010. It has earned him nicknames like Jordan, but the response has not always been positive.

Many people did not know at the time he blew up on social media that Harrison is autistic. He is unable to work and he dedicates much of his time to basketball, watching videos of Jordan’s old teams and playing pickup games.

Harrison said people are not always nice and it frustrates him. But, he has never let it defeat him. He challenges the perception of who he is and what he is capable of both in life and in basketball.

Harrison said he always has fun playing basketball and takes it very seriously. It is just another way he takes after his idol.

CBS affiliate KREM2 was able to contact Jordan’s business manager, who was touched by Harrison’s tribute, that Michael Jordan decided to pass along a “Thank You” to one of his biggest fans.

His mother Barbara Williams had kept it all a surprise and Jeffrey said he had no idea it was coming.

“I knew it was him. It kind of brought me to tears after I got off the phone so I figured this is really going to be nice. The fact that Michael Jordan took the time to call and put all this together. I love it, even the cologne even the sweats, I love it,” said Harrison.

Reebok joins retailers Jack Threads to release a modernized version of the Classic Nylon silhouette with the debut of the Jack Threads x Reebok Classic Nylon Pack.

In two different colorways for two distinct styles, the daily Classic Nylon marks the first drop in a three-part collaboration between Reebok and JackThreads.

Consisting of a Collegiate Navy and Snowy Grey releases, both pairs are built with pig suede material accented with Orange pops as an nod to Jack Threads brand color.

“The original Classic Nylon debuted in 1987 as a performance running shoe so we’ve made very subtle but impactful changes to create a collection that pays homage to the original but is visibly modern,” said Michael Vincent, Head of Footwear & Accessories, JackThreads.
