adidas Unveils the AlphaBounce ForgeFiber

adidas Originals has officially introduced the adidas AlphaBounce ForgeFiber. The shoe comes equipped with new stitching technology inspired by body movement and the exploration of how organic cell structures grow. It utilizes TPU-coated yarn that’s then stretched and heat compressed in targeted zones. Making this version of the adidas AlphaBounce unique is that it provides 30% more resistance than your average construction and can behave in a variety of ways — depending on the sport — thanks to changes in the density and angles of the stitching.

Stitched with areas of stretch and support, the ForgeFiber upper adapts to your foot as it moves from push-off to touchdown. A flexible Bounce midsole responds to each footstrike with long-lasting cushioned comfort.

“The super flexible and strong ForgeFiber upper for a runner will provide enhanced lockdown and stability in the midsole for a smooth gait cycle,” said Jason McGinnity, a designer on the adidas Future team. “For basketball we want to be much more prescriptive in certain areas of the shoe, like on the lateral for heavy cutting.”

Draymond Green is set to debut the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Delivering comfort, support and the responsive energy return of all-new Nike React cushioning, this is the most innovative iteration in the shoe’s nine-year history. Flyknit technology on the upper provides targeted stretch and breathability, while its pressure-mapped outsole enhances traction.

“To be the first to wear the latest Hyperdunk means the world to me, we’re talking about Nike Basketball here, the biggest athletes in the world and being the first one to actually try this new technology is amazing. Mom, I made it. When you’re talking about Nike, you’re talking things that last for decades,” says Green. “This shoe is lightweight, it has a resilience in it. It has the bounce so it keeps me sprinting and moving around just like I want to.”

An official release date has yet to be announced, but you can expect the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit debut very soon to select retailers like Nike.com.

Opening Ceremony and Vans are set to release their latest collaboration dubbed, the “Oh Sooo Suede” Pack. This Opening Ceremony x Vans Suede Pack is scheduled to release on Friday, June 2nd.

It includes the Vans Authentic and the Vans Slip-On dressed in Horizon Blue, Umber, Powder Pink and Saffron colors all inspired by the ’70s. Each pair comes complete with Opening Ceremony branding on the insoles.

Following a look at the “Triple Black” pair that’s scheduled to release in July, this adidas Tubular Doom Soc Grey Primeknit colorway is the newest to surface. adidas Originals has been doing some nice things with the adidas Tubular silhouette, and now they’re set to debut the all-new Tubular Doom Soc.

This upcoming release features a full Grey Primeknit upper with a darker shade of Grey on the back heel counter. It comes complete with a new ribbed midsole and its signature Tubular sole.

Inspired by the classic Wilhelmsburg Banks Skatepark located south of Hamburg is this brand new Trap Vans Half Cab Pro collaboration. With the park in danger of being closed and demolished forever, this release is dubbed, “Save Wilhelmsburg Banks.”

The Vans Half Cab features a Deep Burnt suede overlay with an ankle collar done in an Orange motif paying homage to the well-known mosaic quarter pipe wall Wilhelmsburg Banks in Hamburg. Finishing off the look is a Black special edition Half Cab woven labels and White foxing.

The adidas NMD R2 is set to debut in a few upcoming colorways this summer. Today, we get a look at three adidas NMD R2 July 2017 releases for the warmer months.

One pair is fully dressed in Wonder Pink, with another related pair in Core Black and Wonder Pink – which is seen on the heel pull-tab. The other pair comes dressed in a Core Black and Future Harvest color scheme with a Bright Red back heel pull-tab. The Nike Air Epic has officially returned for the warmer months, but this time around Nike Sportswear introduces the Nike Air Zoom Epic Luxe version of the classic runner.

Dressed in a clean Light Bone and Linen color scheme. This Nike Air Epic comes constructed in a mix of leather, mesh and suede. Giving the release a bit of a nice contrast is its Gold color on the heel counter.

Kanye West unveiled the YEEZY Runner during YEEZY Season 5, and for YEEZY Season 6 he’ll debut the YEEZY adiPRENE+ during New York City Fashion Week in September.

According to Yeezy Mafia, this YEEZY Season 6 Runner is called, the YEEZY adiPRENE+ – which if you look closely at the midsole you can see the adiPRENE+ displayed confining its an adidas Yeezy collaboration.

No visible YEEZY or adidas branding is seen anywhere, no is there no signs of BOOST technology. But this new trainer sports a mesh and suede constructed upper sitting atop an adiPRENE+ cushioned sole and a Gum rubber outsole.

No official release details or information on this YEEZY adiPRENE+ for YEEZY Season 6, but we’ll keep you updated with the latest as it develops.

Jordan Brand is set to debut the Air Jordan 2 Decon Thunder Blue and the Air Jordan 2 Decon Sail this July 2017. The first example of a luxury sneaker, the Air Jordan 2 continues to evolve. While the original mixed premium design with cutting-edge material, the new “Decon” version has been stripped to its essence.

Keeping its 1986 roots but trading traditional leather for new shades of suede, here’s a first look at the Thunder Blue/White and Sail/White colorways. Both are completed with leather heel tabs atop a White rubber sole.

The Air Jordan 1 OG Sail University Red is yet another new Air Jordan 1 release set to debut later this summer. Designed for the warmer months, this new colorway comes dressed in a mix of Sail and University Red.

Seen in many different color combinations, adidas Originals is officially set to release the adidas ClimaCool 1 Triple Black colorway for Summer 2017. Just as expected, this release comes in full Blackout color scheme.

Next up for New Balance is their latest women’s exclusive pack, dubbed the New Balance Sea Salt Pack. It consists of the New Balance 998 and the New Balance 1400 both dressed in Sea Salt and Storm Blue color scheme.

Both New Balance models come constructed with an Off-White suede and mesh upper. The 998 is arguably the better pair from the two that includes Light Blue and Orange accents. The 1400 is a bit plain, and only includes Light Blue accents on the “N” logo, tongue and branded heel.

You can now find the New Balance Sea Salt Pack available in women’s sizing through select retailers like Packer Shoes. The New Balance 998 retails for $180 USD and the 1400 at $170 USD.
