Loopwheeler Releasing the Nike Roshe Two and Aptare on September 1st

As a follow up to the Nike Sock Dart and Air Force 1 UltraForce releases, Nike x Loopwheeler is expanding their collection with two more releases. Today, we take a look at the Nike Roshe Two and Nike Aptare created in collaboration with the Japanese brand, Loopwheeler.

Just like the first two releases, these will also come dressed in the indigo-dyed theme. Both shoes also have a debossed Loopwheeler logo on the back loops tabs of the Roshe Two and Aptare and come with a cotton drawstring bag printed with Loopwheeler and Nike logos.

Look for both the Nike Roshe Two and Aptare “Loopwheeler” to release on September 1st at select retailers like Nike Harajuku, NikeLab MA5 in Tokyo, the Loopwheeler stores in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka and on Nike.com.

Following the debut of five Nike Kobe AD Mid colorways, we now take a look at the Nike Kobe AD Mid Rise that’s set to release on Saturday, September 2nd.

Yohji Yamamoto and his adidas Y-3 line continues to release futuristic styles. For its latest release, we take a look at the adidas Y-3 Zazu Triple Black iteration for the fall season.

This very unique running shoe sports a leather upper with a hook-and-loop closure and mesh details. Fully covered in all-black, the shoe is completed with a matching Boost sole and Continental rubber outsole.

Converse Cons has partnered with Kenny Anderson and his long-time board sponsor, Chocolate Skateboards. The new Chocolate Skateboards Converse Cons 2017 Collection will include footwear and apparel designed with skaters in mind, for everyday wear ability.

The footwear from the collection includes the Converse Chuck Taylor and Converse One Star silhouette both built with 100% recycled poly cotton canvas upper. Nike Sportswear is bringing back the “Nerf” theme for a kids-exclusive Nike Little Posite Pro release. Originally used on the Nike KD 4, this Nike Air Foamposite Pro takes inspiration from the ubiquitous Nerf basketball hoop.

Kyrie Irving Pays Tribute to Kobe and Bruce Lee with the Nike Kyrie 3 “Mamba Mentality”

Nike Basketball has officially unveiled the Nike Kyrie 3 Mamba Mentality aka Bruce Lee Kyrie 3s that’s scheduled to release on September 15th.

At first thought, Kobe Bryant and Kyrie Irving have little in common with Bruce Lee. However, the basketball and martial arts stars do share striking personal and philosophical similarities.

Wisdom, focus and individuality bond them. Specifically, Bryant and Irving are inspired by Lee’s famous words, “Always be yourself. Express yourself. Have faith in yourself.”

Irving is intimately aware of this connection, and first expressed it when he was 17 while playing in the Nike Extravaganza in California. He channeled his inner mamba by wearing a special Kobe 5 that was inspired by the late martial artist, actor and philosopher, Lee. Now 25, Irving commemorates that moment and pays tribute to Byrant as mentor and friend with a special edition of the Nike Kyrie 3.

The new Kyrie 3 Mamba Mentality features the following elements that modernize the original Kobe 5, which remains one of Irving’s all-time favorite shoes. The Yellow and Black contrasted upper pays tribute to Lee’s trademark colors. Four Red slash marks connect to Lee. A snakeskin-inspired medial side represents the Black mamba, fading to Samurai on the lateral side for Kyrie – a metaphorical torch passing. The new Kyrobe logo fuses Bryant and Irving’s Nike logos into one. Lastly, the Samurai textile print on the lateral side is similar to the pattern on the initial Kyrie 3 colorway worn by Irving in a big 2016 Christmas day win.
