This week was a battle between adidas Originals and Nike Basketball as they both dominated this entire week of releases.

On April 6th, not only did Nike Basketball drop their “Summer Pack” but adidas Originals released a handful of adidas NMD variations and colorways.

Moving along to Friday, Nike brings back the “Multicolor” Flyknit Racer, along with the “Bulls” Air More Uptempo finally releasing in men’s sizes. adidas also debuted a brand new Harden Vol.1, Dame 3 and the popular Reigning Champ x adidas Ultra Boost.

For Saturday, the Haven x adidas Ultra Boost “Triple Black” becomes widely available and Jordan Brand drops another original release with the “Brave Blue” Air Jordan 13 Low.

Pharrell just celebrated his 44th birthday on April 5th, and to celebrate the occasion adidas Originals gifted him with a special edition adidas NMD Human Race Birthday colorway.

Inspired by a cake with candles, this adidas NMD Human Race features an all-White upper with a colorful “Human” and “Race” text on each shoe. Completing the shoe is a matching White lace cage and Boost sole.

Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 13 Low “UNC” PE

The UNC Tar Heels men’s basketball team just received their latest Air Jordan 13 Low UNC PE for the March Madness tournament.

This Air Jordan 13 Low for UNC features a Carolina Blue mesh upper with Wolf Grey accents covering the collar, mudguard and midsole. White White premium leather is used on the tongues, toe box and midsole. Giving it that Tar Heels official look is the school’s classic argyle lining to match the stripes on the UNC jersey, along with UNC’s logo on the tongues.

Paul George’s Teammates Say the Nike PG 1 is the Best Shoe Ever

Paul George’s first signature shoe, the Nike PG 1 has become one of the hottest Nike Basketball releases to launch this year. Just recently, they debuted in the latest “Summer” colorway that is available on Nike SNKRS.

When speaking about the Nike PG 1, Paul George had this to say:

“To be honest, I did expect that because Tony [Hardman] and I put a lot of effort into the shoe and making sure it was something we are proud of. I was not going to throw anything out there without it being perfect, so I feel really good about the release.

I’ve been in the shoe for three months now, and it has proven to be the most comfortable one I’ve ever played in — even with all of the wear and tear. I put a lot of work into the game, and the best part is that I can do that and be comfortable in my shoe. This has allowed me to play better and for longer.”

According to his teammates, they said the Nike PG 1 is the best shoe they’ve ever played in. For those that have been already playing in them, do you agree?
