The New Balance 1000 Makes Waves in “Deep Ocean”

The New Balance 1000 “Deep Ocean” is an aggressive take on the Y2K silhouette. Cloaked in dark blue, metallic silver and black, the sneaker draws inspiration from the ocean’s top predator—the great white shark.

Aggressive mesh paneling, metallic silver overlays and swooping synthetic lines give the shoe its aquatic, retro-futuristic look. Neon “1000” branding on the forefoot and heel add to the throwback feel.

Rope laces, layered mesh and a sculpted ABZORB midsole round out the details. A reflective “N” logo gives a final jolt of contrast.

The NB 1000 “Deep Ocean” will be released Fall 2025 on NewBalance.com and at select retailers for $150 USD.

Nike Alpha Menace Dunk Cleats Now Available (August 2025)

UPDATE 8/1/25: The Alpha Menace Dunk Cleats are now available on Nike.com.

Original Story 7/18/25:
Nike Football’s next premium release, the Nike Alpha Menace Dunk Cleat, is set to combine tradition and high performance on the football field this August 2025.

The Nike Alpha Menace Dunk Cleat is inspired by the legendary Dunk silhouette, making the Dunk’s unmistakable high-top shape and design elements new on the football field. Crafted from black leather and mesh upper, the high-cut design hugs the ankle for added support while perforations on the toe panel allow for breathability. For stability and quickness, the cleat features a full-length molded plate that is built under the sole to help maximize traction and explosiveness. The standout feature of this model, however, is the “Color Reveal” scratch-off upper. Made to be scratched and worn away over time, each cleat will develop its own color story revealing a different shade with wear, making each pair unique to its wearer.

The design is finished off with a hang tag that reads “Color Reveal”, adding to the mystery of the design. Metallic gold Swooshes and branding are integrated throughout the sleek black design, with white accents on the cleated outsole, for a contemporary finish. The Dunk Cleat will be a true showstopper with a little history, a lot of flash, and a surprise that will continue to be revealed with every game and wear.

Nike has previously raised the bar for football cleat performance and style with the Alpha Menace and Vapor Edge series. The Alpha Menace Dunk Cleat builds on the traditional silhouette of the Dunk sneaker, one of Nike’s most famous basketball shoes, with key features designed to offer advanced playability on the field.

The Nike Alpha Menace Dunk Cleat “Color Reveal” will release on August 1, 2025 available at select retailers and Nike.com.

Nike Dunk Low “Panda” Now Available (August 2025)

UPDATE 8/1/25: The “Panda” Dunk Lows are now available on Nike.com.

Original Story 7/20/25:
Nike twists on its staple Dunk Low yet again this fall.

The Nike Dunk Low Panda “White/Black” replaces leather with an all-over hairy suede upper. Sail-toned underlays and jet-black overlays weave together a furry take on the classic Dunk silhouette.

Nike takes the idea a step further with a handful of small details. The laces feature a fuzzy panda face on top, while a tongue and heel patch feature a fringed motif. These pieces add a unique texture and fur-like quality to the look. “EST. 1985” is embroidered on the heel to pay homage to the year of the Dunk’s origin.

It’s the overall character of this Nike Dunk that sets it apart. Recent iterations of the “Panda Monium” have favored clean, sharp leather construction. This one is decidedly more fun and a little extra. The materials, patches, and fringe in all the right places give this pair the aura of a possible collectible.

Nike doesn’t hold back with the box either, making it black and white to match. For collectors who geek out over special-edition packaging, this is a nice touch. With this one, Nike proves that this release is more than just another Panda colorway, it’s a tribute to the Dunk’s enduring legacy.

The Nike Dunk Low Panda “White/Black” will release August 1, 2025 at Nike.com and select retailers. The pair will retail for $125 USD for men’s sizing.

Of all the recent panda themed pairs, this is the one that resembles the fuzzy mammal most.

Bandai Namco x Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 Minis Revealed by Hiroshi Fujiwara

Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary just got a surprise twist thanks to a nostalgic collaboration with Bandai Namco. The two have teamed up to release a set of miniature Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 sneakers, available exclusively in Japan through a Gacha capsule collection.

This playful tribute highlights 18 different mini versions of iconic Jordan 1 colorways. While U.S. fans can pre-order model kits for the “Shadow” and “Reverse Shadow” pairs, Japan gets the full Gacha experience. We’re talking miniature versions of each signature colorway down to the stitching and placement of the Swoosh on the shoe.

Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara gave us an early look, revealing mini renditions of the “Chicago,” “Black Toe,” “Royal,” “UNC,” and “Black/White” colorways. That teaser suggests the full set may include all 16 original Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 colorways from 1985–86, along with a few surprises like “Georgetown” and “Varsity Red.”

It’s a smart way to blend sneaker culture with Japan’s collectible toy scene. For collectors, these scale models feel like sneaker art. They’re not wearable, but they definitely make an impact on your shelf—or desk.

Unfortunately, this Bandai Namco x Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 collaboration is a Japan-exclusive release. No U.S. drop is planned for now. Keep an eye on resellers or proxy services if you’re interested.

Bad Bunny Debuts adidas Adiracer GT Collaboration

Fresh off his ongoing partnership with adidas, Bad Bunny is racing into new territory. The upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas Adiracer GT takes cues from motorsport aesthetics while staying true to Benito’s unconventional style.

Unveiled alongside the announcement of a three-way partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1, the Adiracer GT was spotted on Bad Bunny’s feet during a behind-the-scenes tour of the F1 garage. The silhouette is inspired by retro driving shoes, featuring a sleek profile built for both performance and lifestyle.

This version sports a mix of Branch, Sand, and Cinder hues across a suede and mesh upper, contrasted by cross-stitch detailing and vibrant red Three Stripes. The asymmetrical styling also works in to add another element of kinetic energy. While, of course, the “Para Bad Bunny” branding on the heel gives this collab its own identity. It’s a unique blend of track-ready inspiration and streetwear attitude.

Introduced originally as a motorsport-specific silhouette in the early 2000s, the adidas Adiracer has since become a collectible street staple in its own right. Now, with Bad Bunny in the driver’s seat, the archival silhouette is sure to garner excitement far beyond the motorsport niche.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Adiracer GT is set to release on October 15, 2025, just ahead of the United States Grand Prix in Austin. Expect them to drop via adidas.com and select retailers with a retail price of $160 USD.
