The go-fast sneaker features blackout engineered mesh enveloping the entire silhouette, providing breathability and support where needed. Checkered red accents along the lace loops provide the characteristic “Bred” aesthetic.

The Nike Alpha Menace Dunk Cleat is inspired by the legendary Dunk silhouette, making the Dunk’s unmistakable high-top shape and design elements new on the football field. Crafted from black leather and mesh upper, the high-cut design hugs the ankle for added support while perforations on the toe panel allow for breathability. For stability and quickness, the cleat features a full-length molded plate that is built under the sole to help maximize traction and explosiveness. The standout feature of this model, however, is the “Color Reveal” scratch-off upper. The Nike Dunk Low Panda “White/Black” replaces leather with an all-over hairy suede upper. Sail-toned underlays and jet-black overlays weave together a furry take on the classic Dunk silhouette.

Nike takes the idea a step further with a handful of small details. The laces feature a fuzzy panda face on top, while a tongue and heel patch feature a fringed motif. These pieces add a unique texture and fur-like quality to the look. “EST. 1985” is embroidered on the heel to pay homage to the year of the Dunk’s origin.

It’s the overall character of this Nike Dunk that sets it apart. Recent iterations of the “Panda Monium” have favored clean, sharp leather construction. Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary just got a surprise twist thanks to a nostalgic collaboration with Bandai Namco. The two have teamed up to release a set of miniature Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 sneakers, available exclusively in Japan through a Gacha capsule collection.

This playful tribute highlights 18 different mini versions of iconic Jordan 1 colorways. While U.S. fans can pre-order model kits for the “Shadow” and “Reverse Shadow” pairs, Japan gets the full Gacha experience. We’re talking miniature versions of each signature colorway down to the stitching and placement of the Swoosh on the shoe.

Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara gave us an early look, revealing mini renditions of the “Chicago,” “Black Toe,” “Royal,” “UNC,” and “Black/White” colorways. That teaser suggests the full set may include all 16 original Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 colorways from 1985–86, along with a few surprises like “Georgetown” and “Varsity Red.”
