Nike Sprint Sister Brings Back A 1979 Women’s Track Classic

Low-profile sneakers keep gaining ground, especially styles rooted in track and football culture. Nike is digging back into its catalog again, pulling out a design that never really had a mainstream moment. That quiet return feels intentional, not forced, as slimmer silhouettes continue to lead the current shift.

The Nike Sprint Sister returns for the Summer 2026 with another nostalgic look back at a sneaker that originally debuted back in 1979. Originally designed as a women’s track spike, this shoe was created using a minimal formula with speed and control being key aspects. These elements carry through today when looking at the overall design and functionality of the shoe.

Introduced years later in 2005, Nike altered the silhouette slightly, perfected the fit, and began leaning more towards casual territory. Alternative materials and colorways took it away from being performance-focused, even though it quietly remained true to its roots.

Simple but effective is what comes to mind when looking at this latest colorway. The suede upper allows for the sneaker to have a worn-in comfortable feel, while the low cut silhouette keeps it connected to the racer DNA. Details such as the perforated Nike Swoosh and dual lace system help keep it interesting but understated.

The “Ridgerock/Ocean Cube/Dark Cinder/Sail” colorway leans into earthy tones that feel easy to style. It also reflects a bigger move, as Nike continues to bring back women’s archive models with a modern, lifestyle focus.

The Nike Sprint Sister “Ridgerock” will be releasing soon via Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price tag is set at $110 USD.

Nike Gato N7 Adds Bold Multi-Color Textures

Nike continues to repackage apparel and footwear with its N7 initiative, and this time the brand decided to revisit one of its more understated indoor sneakers. Expectations of something straightforward were dashed with the arrival of the Nike Gato N7 as the siloed model received texturally busy treatment. Packing multilayered tones, the sneaker will release on June 18, 2026.

Starting with the toe box, the Gato N7 features a maroon suede wrap that transitions into an orange-red knit upper for a fuzzier texture. Located by the toe is a diminutive blue Nike Swoosh that is easily overlooked. Cream suede and mesh panels run laterally across the upper and deep blue canvas overlays are used to fill-out cut-outs and collar.

Moving toward the heel, green suede takes over and lines up with the Swoosh along the side. That Swoosh gets a thin burnt orange outline, tying it back to the forefoot without being too loud. Inside, the sockliner features a bold pattern, and the N7 logo on the tongue keeps everything connected to the collection.

There’s a clear shift here toward mixing materials more than usual, but the overall shape stays familiar. It doesn’t try to reinvent the model, just gives it a different kind of presence.

The Nike Gato N7 releases June 18, 2026, available through Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price tag is set at $125 USD.

Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared Reflective” Releases March 26th

UPDATE 3/17/26: Nike has confirmed the Air Max 90 “Infrared Reflective” will release on March 26th, 2026 for $150 USD as part of Air Max Day celebration. The pair will be available via SNKRS and select retailers.

Original Story 12/12/25:
The Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared Reflective” is set to release in Spring 2026, giving one of Nike’s most recognizable colorways a modern refresh. The original “Infrared” remains deeply tied to Air Max history, dating back to 1990 when Tinker Hatfield redefined visible Air cushioning and performance design.

Official images of the Air Max 90 “Infrared Reflective” have also surfaced ahead of the upcoming Air Max Month release.

This upcoming version does not attempt to replicate the OG pair line for line. Instead, Nike introduces reflective 3M elements and subtle material changes that update the look while preserving the identity of the classic color scheme. The familiar white, black, grey, and Infrared 23 palette remains intact, which longtime Air Max fans will immediately recognize.

Mesh is removed around the toe, collar, and heel and replaced with darker grey synthetic panels. These panels provide a more durable structure while adding a subtle shine that enhances the reflective concept. Light grey suede overlays remain stacked above a black leather mudguard, maintaining the layered construction that defines the Air Max 90 silhouette.

Infrared accents continue to carry the design, with the bright hue appearing on the eyelets, tongue branding, Air Max callouts, and sections of the outsole. A white midsole paired with a mostly black outsole helps ground the design, balancing the vibrant highlights with a familiar and wearable finish.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared Reflective” will release on March 19th, 2026 for $150 USD as part of Nike’s annual Air Max Month celebration. The sneaker will be available through select Nike Sportswear retailers.

NOTE Manchester Nike SB Dunk Low interchangeable pink and brown Swooshes

UPDATE 1/29/26: The “Brew and Biscuits” theme comes through loud and clear on the NOTE x Nike SB Dunk Low. The Flax brown suede sets the base, while interchangeable Swooshes add personality. Biscuit patterns show up on the laces and lining, and there’s even a tea mug ring detail on the outsole. Small touches under the tongue finish the story and make this pair feel fun and intentional. Check out the latest images below via @iamricosuav and expect a release on March 28th, 2026 for $130 USD.

Original Story 12/8/25:
The NOTE Manchester x Nike SB Dunk Low is set to release in Spring 2026, and the collab shows just how personal this project is for the shop. NOTE has been a pillar in Manchester’s skate scene for decades, so seeing the store land its own SB Dunk feels like a moment the whole community can claim.

The SB Dunk Low plays directly into the shop’s everyday ritual—coffee and biscuits—using a warm mix of Flax, Summit White, Sail, and Honeycomb to mirror the tones you’d find on a café table. The suede upper has that soft, broken-in look skaters love, and the patterned liners pull you right into the concept with biscuit graphics and “Strength of Brew” or “Selection of Biscuits” callouts under the tongue.

One of the standout details is the interchangeable Swooshes. You get a textured pink option and a croc-style brown version, letting the pair shift between playful and classic depending on the mood. Small touches like the printed laces, a coffee-ring graphic on the outsole, and the embroidered “NOTE Manchester” heel branding make the story feel complete without ever feeling forced.

What’s refreshing is how grounded this collaboration feels. It fits into the lineage of thoughtful, shop-driven SB projects from the mid-2000s, yet the execution is clean enough to resonate with today’s collectors. It’s personal, local, and still very SB at heart.

adidas Y-3 x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Capsule Turns Motorsport Into Style

Paris was moving at speed once more. Within the walls of Palais d’Iéna, Yohji Yamamoto re-grounded Y-3 to its purpose-built beginnings where sport and style breathe as one. Nothing here felt unnatural. As adidas Y-3 x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Capsule landed organically, it centred itself around movement, rather than hysteria.

You can see the racing influence right away. The shapes feel sharp and controlled, almost like they’re cut for speed. Still, it doesn’t stay locked into motorsport. There’s enough street energy here to make everything wearable beyond the track.

The show itself leaned into that idea. Models moved in sync, almost like a pit crew working through a race. All-black outfits kept things focused, letting movement do the talking. By the end, the pace picked up and everything blurred together, just like a race at full speed.

Graphics push things further. Chikami Hayashi’s artwork meets Chito’s distorted style, twisting familiar Y-3 visuals into something new. The Beast motif shows up across pieces, adding edge. Then there’s denim, back for the first time in years, which quietly shifts the feel of the lineup.

Footwear, as you can imagine plays a crucial role. Y-3 NISI hits personal first as the collection’s first vulcanized silhouette, while Y-3 TOKYO and Y-3 SUPERSTAR 3G turn up the heat both compositionally and regarding silhouette size.

The collection also brings back Y-3’s signature wolf motif, first introduced by Yohji Yamamoto during the 2006 World Cup. It originally appeared as part of the F50 Tunit “Beast Pack,” which drew from Japanese mythology with designs inspired by the wolf, tiger, eagle, and dragon.

Look out for the adidas Y-3 x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Capsule dropping March 19, 2026 via adidas.com and select retailers.

USC Trojans Unveil Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro PE For March Madness

The USC Trojans are stepping into March with their own exclusive take on a rising on-court favorite. The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro continues to gain momentum across college programs, especially as March Madness approaches, becoming one of the most visible performance models this season.

After a strong push during All-Star Weekend and the wider release of the “Mamba Magic” colorway, the silhouette is now making noise at the collegiate level. The USC women’s basketball team has unveiled a player-exclusive version that keeps the model rooted in Los Angeles while highlighting school pride.

The design follows a familiar template seen on other school editions like Duke and Oregon, pairing a white mesh upper with bold team accents. USC’s version stands out with deep burgundy tones layered throughout, while hits of gold and red appear within the translucent outsole, adding a subtle but unique twist.

Like most player exclusives, this Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “USC Trojans” PE is not expected to release to the public. Still, its presence on the court reinforces Nike’s strategy of using top college programs to spotlight key performance models during the sport’s biggest moments.

Nike V5 RNR “Jackie Robinson Day” Releases April 2026

Nike is tapping into baseball history for Spring 2026, adding a clean tribute to its retro runner lineup. The Nike V5 RNR “Jackie Robinson Day” arrives as a subtle nod to the MLB legend, timed perfectly with the league’s annual April 15th celebration.

The pair keeps things understated with a black leather and mesh upper, paired with a glossy patent leather toe and supportive overlays. White accents hit the laces, branding, and Swoosh backing, creating contrast without overpowering the design. Underfoot, an off-white midsole softens the look, while a speckled black outsole adds a slight baseball-inspired touch.

Details tied to Jackie Robinson are kept minimal but meaningful. A white “42” appears on the tongue above a small Swoosh, honoring his iconic number. Around the heel, a diamond-shaped logo further connects the shoe to the sport’s heritage.

The Nike V5 RNR “Jackie Robinson Day” is scheduled to release on April 15, 2026, aligning with the annual league-wide tribute. It will be available in unisex sizing for $100 via Nike.com and select retailers.

Avirex x adidas Superstar Releases March 21st

Avirex continues its streetwear resurgence by reconnecting with its New York roots, this time revisiting its ongoing partnership with adidas for Spring/Summer 2026. After bringing a bold, long-tongue adidas Superstar to market in late 2025, the brand is already back with a fresh spin on the same idea.

This new version flips the previous concept, pairing the Superstar’s classic black-and-white color blocking with Avirex’s signature oversized design cues. The shoe leans into heavy materials across the upper, while standout details like jumbo hardware and thick laces give the iconic shell-toe a more aggressive, street-driven edge. Despite those upgrades, the overall look stays clean and wearable, balancing statement elements with a familiar foundation.

Avirex also keeps its storytelling tight by tapping into culture once again. While the last campaign featured Joey Badass and MJ, this rollout highlights rising names like St. John’s guard Ian Jackson and DJ Nyla Symone, tying the release back to basketball and music influences rooted in New York City.

The Avirex x adidas Superstar 82 drops March 21st through the CONFIRMED app and a dedicated pop-up at adidas SoHo. Retail is set at $180, continuing the duo’s push to merge heritage energy with modern street appeal.

Fragment x Nike Air Force 1 Low Made Exclusively For NoTitle

Fragment Design continues its strong 2026 run with another rare project, this time centered around a highly limited Nike Air Force 1 created alongside Asian creative agency NoTitle. While most of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s recent work has leaned into broader releases like the Fragment Book 2 and experimental “Concept Testing” series, this pair shifts back into ultra-exclusive territory.

The sneaker itself keeps things premium and understated. It features a full tumbled leather upper, giving the classic Air Force 1 a more refined, luxury feel. Although only a teaser has surfaced, the heel branding tells the full story. Nike Air and NoTitle logos appear in a clean metallic finish, while Fragment’s signature double lightning bolt sits alongside them, tying all three collaborators together.

This drop continues Fragment’s pattern of balancing public releases with hard-to-access projects. Over the years, Fujiwara has built a reputation for these inner-circle exclusives, and this pair follows that same formula. It’s less about mass availability and more about cultural cachet.

As of now, the Fragment x NoTitle x Nike Air Force 1 Low is not expected to release to the public. Instead, it will remain a friends-and-family style drop, reserved for close collaborators and select insiders. While most won’t get their hands on a pair, it still adds to Fragment’s growing archive of sought-after collaborations in 2026.

Now arriving in its third release, the “Rise” edition pushes that energy forward with a fresh beige and black color scheme. The design stays true to the shoe’s bold identity, blending lifestyle appeal with clear skate-inspired cues, while a gum outsole adds to its street-ready look. Nike Air Max 95 “Cargo Khaki” Surfaces in Rugged Olive Layers

Earth-tone sneakers are notorious for reappearing each year. Nike rarely skips an opportunity to revisit one of their most iconic silhouettes. As we approach Summer 2026, Nike is giving fans yet another muted edition with the Nike Air Max 95 “Cargo Khaki”. The sneaker dives into an army-like color palette that remains easy to wear while nodding to the classic elements of the shoe’s DNA.

Nike employs various shades of olive across the AM 95’s upper. Mesh provides ventilation in the foundational layers while tumbled leather accents overlay around the sides in the sneaker’s iconic wave crest pattern. Dark khaki tones wrap around the rest of the shoe from toe to heel, and the colorway is finished off by khaki laces and lining.

There are subtle details to elevate the design. Near the heel, Nike places a mirror shine Swoosh to give the predominantly earth-toned colorway somewhere to pop. Underfoot, the black midsole maintains the silhouette’s recognizable Air pods to keep the Max 95’s signature cushioning and profile.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Cargo Khaki” is currently scheduled to release in Summer 2026 for $180 USD, with availability expected through Nike.com and select retailers once the drop arrives.

Nike Dunk Low GS “Smiley Swoosh” Comes With Glow Soles

Bright, easygoing colorways tend to surface once warmer weather gets closer, and Nike’s next Dunk follows that familiar pattern. Built in grade school sizing, the Nike Dunk Low GS “Smiley Swoosh” brings a playful spin to the classic basketball silhouette while keeping the overall design simple and wearable.

The top half of the shoe meets up with a pastel concoction. White leather starts us clean through the sole before powder-blue overlays take over at the toe, eyestays, and heel panels. To separate things up a bit, a coral Swoosh slides down the lateral side cutting through pastels while delivering a punch of color.

Small detailing near the heel is what really gives this pair character. Nike actually embroiders a Smiley Swoosh in hot neon green along the lateral side of the shoe. It isn’t too big or overbearing, but it is noticeable enough to allow the Dunk to have an identity. Nike applies themed graphics on the inside lid of the shoe which is a more subtle way of carrying that playful theme throughout.

The bottom half of the classic Dunk formula remains untouched. A white midsole helps to even everything out while the outsole is treated with a glow-in-the-dark varnish that will pop when the lights are off.

Expect the Nike Dunk Low GS “Smiley Swoosh” to release March 20th at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $102 USD.

This Black Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Shines With Metallic Silver Overlays

Technical runners from the late 2000s have quietly become some of Nike’s most dependable lifestyle silhouettes. The Vomero occupies a unique space in this transition. Its segmented construction and rider-focused philosophy have lent itself to the shoe transitioning seamlessly from performance pedigree to daily trainer without sacrificing much of what made it stand out.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Black/Metallic Silver” release is no different. Paying homage to its predecessors, the shoe features breathable black mesh uppers, silver accents and molding, and a tight molded TPU over the midfoot. The addition of reflective accents and cage-like plating harkens back to Nike’s running shoes of the late-2000s while a white leather swoosh maintains a friendly silhouette. Neutralizing tones with off-white laces and a Coconut Milk midsole dials back the color scheme just enough to give it a worn in feel that’s true to modern retro-runners everywhere.

Layering still does most of the visual work. The open mesh keeps the upper light and breathable, while synthetic panels and the ribbed cage add both structure and depth. Chrome-like details around the eyestays and forefoot help reinforce the era that inspired the design.

Comfort remains part of the formula. Cushlon foam works alongside Zoom Air cushioning underfoot, continuing the comfort-focused approach that defined the original Vomero series. Even with the silhouette now living mostly in lifestyle rotations, that running DNA hasn’t disappeared.

Nike Dresses The Cortez in Glossy Black Polka Dots

Few silhouettes carry the kind of history the Cortez does. From its early running roots to its place in street culture, the shape has barely changed over the decades. That familiar foundation continues with the Nike Cortez “Triple Black Polka Dot”, a darker, more textural take expected to land in Summer 2026.

At first glance, the pair reads as a simple all-black Cortez. Look closer, and the details start to show. Polished circular overlays sit atop the leather upper, dotting the panels. It’s a simple addition that speaks volumes. The polka dots are subdued, but create dimension while maintaining a minimalist color scheme.

Texture is used to differentiate design elements. The toe box and eyestays are covered in a suede fabric, for contrast against the leather upper. Outfitting the entire shoe is a fully-black midsole and outsole.

Otherwise, changes to the silhouette are minimal. Nike kept the low-cut design intact, as well as the iconic sawtooth outsole pattern. Those tried-and-true design traits keep this pair grounded.

Dropping Summer 2026, pick up the Nike Cortez “Triple Black Polka Dot” through Nike.com and participating retailers.

Nike ACG Pegasus Trail Emerges in Clean “Black” Build

Trail-ready runners continue to evolve as brands blur the line between outdoor performance and everyday wear. Nike’s ACG division returns to that conversation with the Nike ACG Pegasus Trail “Black”, a clean and understated entry that focuses on durability and versatility for changing terrain.

Painted in a Black/Anthracite-Summit White color scheme, this duo embraces military inspiration with vigor. Black engineered mesh upper allows the shoe to remain lightweight and breathable while textured overlays placed strategically along the midfoot and forefoot help add stability to the sleek design. Trimmed with a white Swoosh across the lateral side, “All Conditions Gear” is printed along the medial aspect of the shoe.

Trail functionality continues through the details. A rope-style heel pull tab and reinforced eyelets support the secure lace system, while the tongue features the recognizable ACG triangle logo. A vertical label reading “Pegasus Trail – Designed, Tested and Made on Planet Earth. For Outdoor Use.” quietly reinforces the model’s outdoor identity.

Down below, the silhouette is elevated by a molded Summit White ReactX foam midsole that should provide comfortable cushioning on all types of terrain. A black rubber outsole completes the look featuring aggressive multidirectional lugs and dotted perforations for consistent traction on pavement, gravel and dirt.

Look for the Nike ACG Pegasus Trail “Black” to drop Summer 2026 retailing for $155 at Nike.com and select retail outlets.

Jordan Legacy 312 Low “Bred” Releasing As Football Cleat

Jordan Brand is bringing the Legacy 312 back in a new way with the Jordan Legacy 312 Low TD Football Cleat “Bred” edition. Instead of changing the look too much, the brand keeps the familiar hybrid design intact and updates it for the field.

The model still pulls from the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, and Air Alpha Force Low, which gives it the layered build fans already know. Key details like the midfoot strap, paneling, and overall shape remain close to the original lifestyle version.

This “Bred” colorway stays true to a classic formula. The upper comes dressed in black leather with Varsity Red accents, while Cement Grey elephant print wraps the heel for a strong Jordan touch. Nike Swoosh branding and the Wings logo help keep the heritage feel in place.

The biggest shift comes underfoot, where Jordan Brand replaces the standard sole with a football-ready plate and molded studs for on-field traction. A red outsole adds a clean pop that ties back to the upper.

The Jordan Legacy 312 Low TD Football Cleat “Bred” is expected to release soon at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $135 USD.
