Vanessa Bryant Reveals Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Halo Diamond” Swarovski PE

Nike released the Kobe 3 Protro “Halo Diamond” Swarovski PE during August’s Mamba League Invitational, the latest special moment in an incredible run for Kobe Bryant’s legacy. As one of the rarest Kobe sneakers in history, it glistens with 5,575 Swarovski crystals across the upper.

Vanessa Bryant and Nike Basketball presented the pair during a moment full of meaning to Kobe’s legacy and the design’s namesake, diamonds. In part, this is because of the Kobe 3’s diamond-patterned cage and Zoom Air cushioning, but the shape also matches Natalia Bryant’s middle name, “Diamante.” While that symbolism instantly made family an invaluable aspect of this drop, the halo connects Kobe’s legacy to the future of athletes.

Though the halo packs special details of its own, including translucent Zoom Airs and a nameplate with “The Black Mamba” script, the Swarovski crystals are the first detail noticed by sneaker enthusiasts.

While it’s one of the rarest Kobe 3s in history, the “Halo Diamond” version will never make it to retail. In fact, it’s emblematic of how Nike Basketball is keeping Kobe Bryant’s memory alive through performance releases and storytelling.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Debuts in 2026

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro is an entirely new silhouette for the Kobe line, debuting the first-ever Kobe 3 in a low-cut version. The hype machine started churning with “Halo” and “Christmas” colorways, but this is the debut that dramatically shifts the Kobe 3 silhouette in a new direction.

The change was a long time coming, as Kobe Bryant and Eric Avar wanted to lower the Kobe to a height that was more performance-friendly. That was the design philosophy that first made its way onto the Kobe 4, and it helped create one of the most legendary runs in Black Mamba history. Nike has kept the same diamond-patterned cage, split toe-cap, and high-performance sole unit with the Kobe 3 Low Protro but tweaked the collar to feature a more modern low-profile cut. That difference is what distinguishes it so far from the original Kobe 3 mid-top.

Sneakerheads will recognize it for how true it stays to the Kobe 3’s DNA, while also providing something different from the original. The all-white “Halo” colorway only helps to push that point, giving it a future-forward aesthetic that places performance as a priority but also makes it a lifestyle shoe. That’s the most important detail Kobe fans will notice immediately.

Nike Kobe 3 Low Release Date

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Halo” will make its official debut in 2026, as announced by Nike Basketball in a release shared with Vanessa Bryant. The shoe is on course to be one of the biggest Kobe retros to date.

Nike ACG Izy Appears in Reflective Material

Nike’s Outdoor-Inspired ACG Izy is returning for Fall, with a “Reflective” version giving it an on-the-go lifestyle feel. Slip-on but rugged Izy has been a consistent release in Nike’s All Conditions Gear (ACG) collections for some time.

In subdued mauve, this release comes with an all-over geometric pattern that pops under light with reflective accents. The zippered closure means the Izy is as easy to wear as it is to slip on, and securely fits in place. Small ACG branding at the tongue and a discreet Swoosh on the midsole provide low-key branding, while speckled black midsoles and a sticky, durable traction outsole provide traction on different surfaces.

Purple insoles with ACG logos pack on a contrasting dose of personality, as do heel pull-tabs that add to the shoes ease-of-entry. The reflective coating also increases visibility at night and packs on a dose of playful edge, too.

The Nike ACG Izy “Reflective” will drop Fall 2025 through Nike.com and select retailers.

The adidas Superstar Goes Full Denim

The adidas Superstar 82 is back this Fall in a new “Denim” Pack. The two colorways are a pair of a brazen reimaginations of the classic silhouette.

The first of the two colorways plays on a much more grungy appeal. The washed black denim upper features light grey fading for dimension. In contrast to stitching, the Three Stripes are embossed for a sleeker finish. Black laces, shell toe, and sole conclude the overall stealthy aesthetic.

On the other hand, the second pair’s version is a brighter take with its blue denim panels. White detailing make an appearance on the liner, laces, shell toe, and outsole. The result of the contrast is a much cleaner and vintage-inspired appeal, while still tipping the hat at heritage and breathing new life into the look.

As for the foundation, both sneakers sit on the Superstar 82 platform, a layout that is based on the Made in France original.
