Jordan “Love Hurts” Sport Teal Apparel Collection Releases September 2025

The Jordan Love Hurts Sport Teal Collection enlivens one of Jordan Brand’s most anticipated capsules.

First making headlines when Jalen Hurts sported the hoodie at the Eagles Super Bowl parade, “Love Hurts” instantly became a fan-favorite graphic piece bridging Jordan’s streetwear impact with the star’s mainstream visibility.

Jordan Brand now elevates the capsule with a Sport Teal update that boldly seasons the collection. First up is a fleece hoodie that layers the standout “LOVE, HURTS.” graphic across the chest with Jumpman logo. Same shade of teal, a coordinating T-shirt keeps the look sharp, on- and off-court styling in mind. Simple? That’s exactly what will speak to fans.

The Jordan “Love Hurts” Sport Teal Collection will launch September 14, 2025 at Nike.com. The T-shirt will retail for $50 and the fleece hoodie for $75 USD. What are you picking for fall?

Comme des Garçons BLACK x Nike Field General 82 Releases September 11th

UPDATE 9/8/25: The Comme des Garçons BLACK x Nike Field General 82 is set to launch on September 11, 2025. Pairs will release through Dover Street Market both in-store and online, priced at $160. Sizes range from US men’s 5.5 to 13.

Original Story 3/23/25:
Comme des Garçons continues to redefine bold sneaker aesthetics, this time with the Nike Field General 82. The latest collaboration under the BLACK label features a strikingly avant-garde design, combining wavy logo patterns, a “melted” Swoosh effect, and the signature black-and-white color palette that has become synonymous with CDG’s style.

The Field General 82, often celebrated for its retro-inspired silhouette, takes on a completely new persona with this collaboration. The all-over branding, which layers Nike and BLACK logos, creates a chaotic yet artistic look, while the contrasting white elements bring sharp visual impact. This follows CDG’s earlier reinterpretation of the Field General silhouette, such as the exclusive 2024 “Market Market” version featuring translucent gum soles.

CDG Black Nike Field General 82 Release Date

The Comme des Garçons BLACK x Nike Field General 82 is set to release September 11, 2025 through select Dover Street Market locations.

With its unique branding and innovative design, this sneaker promises to be a standout addition to any collection, perfect for fans of bold, experimental footwear.

Nike Air Max 95 Zip Returns Holiday 2025

The Nike Air Max 95 Zip makes its comeback in Holiday 2025 with two bold colorways: “Loyal Blue” and “Black.”

Nike’s never been a brand to shy away from risk-taking design, and the Y2K era was no exception. A hallmark of the sneaker zeitgeist at that time was the zippered shroud. Wrapping up silhouettes from the fly-on-the-wall Flightposite by Eric Avar to running-focused models like the Air Max Sunder, these sneakers proved that a decidedly futuristic style could serve up serious utility in a package that delivered a fully enclosed experience. Nike’s doubling down on that sensibility in 2025 with the return of the Air Max 95 Zip.

Debuted in 2001 (and commonly referred to as the Air Max 95 “Z”), this sneaker reworks Sergio Lozano’s original by swapping out laces in favor of a sleek zipper-laced overlay. Upon its initial release, this iteration proved divisive among the sneaker community. Fast forward to 2025, and nostalgia for early 2000s fashion has a major hand in footwear’s new look. Ditching the leather-dominant construction of the original run, this retro instead uses hairy suede for a texturally reimagined finish. Sneakerheads will appreciate that fresh twist.

Two colorways are dropping. “Triple Black” sticks to the formula with monochromatic color accents and blackout Air units. “Loyal Blue” is all about high contrast, with a navy upper and burgundy midsole that welcome pops of red on color accents and visible cushioning. As is expected, both versions keep the oversized air pockets that have become synonymous with the 95’s third-decade history.

Release Date & Where To Buy

The Nike Air Max 95 Zip releases Holiday 2025 at Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com for $210 USD.

As Y2K design nostalgia is in full effect, this release is just another exciting piece in Nike’s ongoing exploration of shrouded silhouettes. The choice between classic stealth and bold contrast makes this release especially appealing. Which pair are you going after?

New Balance 2002R Brings Calm Grey Vibes

New Balance is bringing the much-loved 2002R back this Fall 2025. Keeping true to the clean and classic dad-shoe silhouette still popular today.

The OG 2002R model originally hit the market in the early 2000s as a performance-driven sneaker for serious runners and lifestyle customers. That signature combination of comfort and no-frills style is why it became a staple in the rotation.

Soft grey suede overlays on top of breathable white mesh, reflective “N” logo and the understated green accents in ENCAP/NERGY work together for a personality-filled shoe. ABZORB technology provides responsive cushioning, while the N-ERGY heel element provides additional comfort. The technology is subtle, but sneakerheads will appreciate that the 2002R Grey sneaker is just as functional as it is clean.

The New Balance 2002R “Grey” drops Fall 2025 for $145 USD at NewBalance.com and select retailers.

Styling is super easy thanks to the easy-to-match tonal colorway. The grey pairs well with denim, cargos, and even technical fits.

Sneaker Talk: OVO x Air Jordan 8 “Black”

The OVO x Air Jordan 8 “Black” is one of the most coveted Drake releases for Jordan Brand to date. The legendary sneaker was part of Drake’s collaboration with OVO and hit the market in 2018 during NBA All-Star Weekend.

This Air Jordan 8 features premium black tumbled leather with suede overlays and signature midfoot cross straps. Metallic gold accents the heel pull tabs, toe guard, and signature paint-stroke pattern on the midsole. Red Jumpman branding on the chenille tongue patch pops, and OVO’s signature owl logo adorns the heel tabs and footbed. Yes, that’s still a detail sneakerheads notice 3 years later.

In 2018, the drop was a continuation of Drake’s deep connection to Jordan Brand after the OVO Air Jordan 10s. Fans still argue whether the 8s or 10s outdid each other on execution. To be honest, the more subtle incorporation of the owl branding with premium materials has me feeling the 8s are more timeless.

Of course, pairs from the release sold out immediately, but resale platforms like StockX and GOAT still have the OVO x Air Jordan 8 Black available for purchase. Prices should align with the shoe’s rarity and the impact it’s had with both Drake and Jordan Brand.

Retailing for $225, the OVO Air Jordan 8 “Black” was originally released in February 2018. The OVO 8 Black has lived on as a grail for OVO and Jordan fans worldwide.

Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs Joins Jordan Brand NFL Roster

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs joins Jordan Brand, becoming the latest NFL star to wear the Jumpman. The signing was first revealed publicly in September 2025, though the deal had been finalized on Gibbs’ 23rd birthday, March 20.

The Jumpman logo represents greatness to Gibbs. He always thought it was for the best growing up and now he’s a part of that. “Playing in Jordan is continuing a legacy with my own swagger,” Gibbs said. The truth is, that mentality shows up with his speed and no-look style.

Jordan Brand announced Gibbs as part of its “Our Turn” campaign, with the running back to be seen in limited edition apparel and sneakers. It comes after his impressive seasons in Detroit over the past two years, which have included two Pro Bowl appearances and a tie for the rushing touchdown lead in 2024. The announcement was met with praise across social media, with many noting the good pairing between Gibbs’ playstyle and Jordan’s history.

This new partnership is especially significant because Gibbs had already been a Nike athlete, dating back to his collegiate years at Alabama and into his first years in the NFL. While a move to Jordan Brand, a subsidiary of Nike, Inc. all together, is seamless, the scrutiny just multiplies. Especially this one point sneakerheads will look at: what he decides to wear his cleats through each and every Sunday will likely be as scrutinized as his end zone dance.

Jordan Brand’s NFL rosters have always been stacked, but signing Gibbs shows that the brand is looking towards the future. His deal further tightens the link between football and streetwear, where Jordan has been a dominant force for decades.

Expect Gibbs to continue making headlines both for game-changing plays and for the exclusive Jordan cleats and sneakers he debuts.

The Jahmyr Gibbs Jordan Brand partnership is official. Watch for on-field moments and upcoming footwear drops tied to his journey.

Tracy McGrady Officially Returns To adidas

Tracy McGrady has officially re-signed with adidas. The Hall of Famer first inked his original deal with the Three Stripes back in 1997. After briefly breaking up with the brand, the two have reunited.

Tracy McGrady is one of the most important basketball figures in sneaker history when it comes to his partnership with adidas. His first $12 million contract was signed in 1997 when he was just coming into his own as a young star. Before that deal was set to expire, McGrady made a $100 million lifetime contract with the brand. Over the course of his career, McGrady released six shoes on his signature adidas line, and were considered some of the most important shoes from the early aughts. In 2022, McGrady publicly shared some of his grievances about how adidas had treated him and seemed to confirm their split by 2023.

Fast forward to today, and adidas has re-signed McGrady and will have him working with former adidas bigwig Sonny Vaccaro to bring back the legendary ABCD Camp to its former glory. For sneakers, we’ll be getting reissues of some of McGrady’s sneakers from his original signature line. For the full details and designs, we’ll have to wait, but McGrady’s return will be about more than just nostalgia.

“adidas has always been family to me,” McGrady said in the announcement. “Some of my proudest moments came while wearing the Three Stripes.”

With adidas Basketball reaffirming his impact, this new iteration of the partnership celebrates the best of what’s come before and opens the door to exciting new possibilities for future generations of players and fans.
