The Nike Shox Ride 2 Cordura “Denim Turquoise” Comes Ready For Winter Months

The Nike Shox Ride 2 Cordura “Denim Turquoise” is a rugged rework of a quietly solid model. While Shox TL and Shox R4 have enjoyed an infinite number of variations, the Ride 2 has been a bit more experimental. Previous versions have included denim, iridescent and ACG-inspired builds. This latest rendition combines high-performance Cordura material for durability and season-long wear.

Nike will be launching a handful of Cordura-backed sneakers this fall and winter, including the Air Max Plus, Air Max Sunder, and a few Air Force 1s. The Ride 2, however, really shines in distressed turquoise denim print. “Light Silver” leather panels on the heel and overlays accent the denim while black mudguards, liners, and midsoles keep things balanced. Rope-style laces in black and white complete the trail-ready offering. That’s the kind of detail that sneakerheads appreciate. Function and fashion intersecting with purpose.

The Shox cushioning system, of course, is still here, providing bouncy nostalgia to early-2000s enthusiasts. Paired with the rugged Cordura base, the overall design works well for urban exploration or straight-up flexing during the colder months. Compared to flashier brothers and sisters, this pair is slightly more grounded. Almost like Nike’s take on technical outdoor footwear.

The Nike Shox Ride 2 Cordura “Denim Turquoise” will release Holiday 2025 for $210 in men’s sizing. Pairs will be available at select retailers and Nike.com.

Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Slides Appear in Gradient “Light Armory Blue”

The Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Slides “Light Armory Blue” is a graphic gradient creation for Fall 2025.

Its molded foam construction transitions from a mellow sky blue to a darker navy base, while wavelike ridges along the midsole call out its featherweight construction. A small Swoosh on the lateral side keeps branding to a minimum, allowing the sculpted silhouette to shine.

Comfort is the star of the show. These slides are outfitted with a ReactX midsole for responsive cushioning that’s plush underfoot. On top of that, the ReactX foam utilizes a lower-impact formula as Nike continues to focus on more sustainable innovations. Sneakerheads will also be stoked by the grippy outsole, which is created for grip on indoor floors and hard outdoor surfaces. That wear-ability makes them a great everyday option.

The Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Slides “Light Armory Blue” releases Fall 2025 at Nike.com and select retailers for the typical $60.

ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Arrives in “Obsidian Grey/Cement”

Arriving September 1st, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Obsidian Grey/Cement” adds another layer of neutrals in muted colorwork.

The mesh upper is provided in the primary Obsidian Grey with silver, dark grey and off-white leather overlays to complete the runner in a well-organized way.

ASICS then infuses a hint of playfulness with champagne accents wrapping the heel panel to deliver understated contrast to the overall tone of the shoe. The clean white midsole with Cement Grey accents carries that wink to classic ASICS cushioning design. The combination of both makes the pair appealing for lifestyle and performance alike.

Nike Vaporposite Pro “Pearl” Foamposite Cleats Releases November 2025

The Nike Vaporposite Pro “Pearl” Foamposite Cleats look to modernize Penny Hardaway’s classic 1997 basketball shoe. Nike is taking the iconic Air Foamposite One “Pearl” and turning it into a high-performance football cleat for Holiday 2025.

Design-wise, it remains faithful to the forward-thinking design of the original. The molded Pearl shell upper is contrasted with black overlays, laces and a sock-like collar for stability. Metallic Swoosh is applied to the side and toe while red branding on the heel tab is a direct reference to Foamposite lineage. These design cues make it easily identifiable to sneakerheads familiar with Penny’s lineup.

The key here is the football-specific tooling. Nike replaces the Foamposite’s signature outsole with a lightweight cleated plate. Aggressive traction and stability come courtesy of translucent blue studs that anchor players to the field. It’s a practical evolution that also preserves the silhouette’s inherent cool factor. In my opinion, Nike has hit the sweet spot – this cleat is both a proper homage and still an effective tool. That’s the level of detail consumers will recognize.

The Vaporposite Pro Foamposite Cleats are yet another addition to Nike’s recent trend of transforming basketball icons into football cleats.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Silver/White” Sample Surfaces

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Silver/White” Sample also referred to as, “Heavy Metal/Anaconda” has surfaced and, of course, more mystery is added to Kanye’s brief, iconic run with Nike. Yes, sneakerheads and fans are familiar with the 2012 “Solar Red” and “Pure Platinum” colorways, but that only highlights just how rare and special this unreleased colorway is.

Featuring a metallic silver forefoot, the prototype has Summit White leather panels on the upper with an embossed anaconda design. The traditional midfoot strap, perforated toe box and sculpted ridged heel remain the same as the Air Yeezy 2. Additional features include hieroglyph-like graphics down the strap, glow-in-the-dark outsoles and “Heavy Metal/Anaconda” labeling. These details are a testament to just how experimental Nike were with this silhouette.

The glow of the outsole directly references the heritage of the original Yeezy 2. You can still spot them down the street. For me, this sample may have even trumped “Pure Platinum” when it comes to instant aesthetic. That metallic, sci-fi finish is so far ahead of its time. That’s what the sneakerheads will be zooming in on first.

This colorway never actually reached stores, but the sample itself proves just how much creative energy went into the Yeezy line. It shows how Kanye’s Nike era was a marriage of high fashion and sports, paving the way for modern lifestyle sneakers. For collectors, it’s like finding a piece of lost history when you spot this unreleased sample.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Silver/White” Sample will most likely never be re-released and stay in the hands of a few collectors. However, its release provides another interesting “what if” chapter to the most legendary collaborations in sneaker culture.

Limosine Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low Releases September 2025

UPDATE 9/1/25: The Limosine Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low releases September 2nd at 10 AM PT on the Limosine Skateboards website. A wider drop follows at local skate shops on September 4th and on SNKRS September 6th, aligning with the NFL season opener.

This Nike SB release highlights the bold Limosine Dunk heel tab. Nike branding is swapped for a large “LIMO” on the left shoe. Other unique details include 3M reflective accents, multiple lace options, and insoles stamped with founder Max Palmer’s name on the Zoom Air pods. For more SB Dunk Low news, see our Nike SB Dunk Low archive.

Original Story:
Limosine Skateboards is stepping into the sneaker game with a bold twist on a classic. Their first Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration takes a sharp detour from the expected, opting for football inspiration instead of basketball roots.

The upper is fully wrapped in brown pebbled leather, mirroring the textured surface of a football. A truly eye-catching detail is the white lace design stretching from the toe box to the tongue—replicating the lacing found on actual footballs. The leather tongue tag carries the Nike SB branding, while black mesh liners add contrast and comfort.

The Swoosh branding comes in a screen-printed black and gray style, complementing the sporty look. The heel also features Limosine’s logo in the same print style, tying together the theme-driven design.

This collaboration reflects Limosine’s creative edge and commitment to disrupting tradition. The mix of sport and skate culture makes this a standout in the 2025 Nike SB lineup.

Stealthy “Dark Smoke Grey” Covers The Nike Air Max 90

The Nike Air Max 90 “Dark Smoke Grey/Sanded Purple” is a Fall 2025 release with a tactical twist on the original Tinker Hatfield silhouette.

Dark Smoke Grey suede overlays sit atop a black mesh underlay. The tone-on-tone construction across the upper results in a monochromatic, utilitarian design. Dark Smoke Grey hits of color on the outsole balance out the otherwise neutral sneaker. The muted color palette is enhanced by the Sanded Purple accents on the tongue and heel Nike Air unit. The pops of color will certainly catch sneaker enthusiasts’ attention.

The visible Air cushioning in the heel unit is another highlight in the Nike Air Max 90 that harkens back to its 1990 debut. A padded collar and rubber outsole provide more function to the AM90, ensuring this drop can handle day-to-day use.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Dark Smoke Grey/Sanded Purple” will be available Fall 2025 for $145. Buy them through Nike.com and select retailers.

Nike Dunk Low ‘Dark Team Red/White’ Continues Classic Two-Tone Style

Nike Sportswear is debuting yet another pair of two-tone footwear with the Nike Dunk Low “Dark Team Red/White”, dropping Fall 2025.

The silhouette remains true to Dunk Low heritage by being constructed with all leather. Dark Team Red is applied to the toe box, tongue, heel, and mid-panels, while a white overlay adds contrast to the upper along with being placed on the Swoosh, laces, and midsole. Stitched logos on the heel and branded tongue print provide classic accents. Completing the Dunk’s shoe is a wine outsole and tongue tag.

Bold shoe in contrast with neutrals is a recipe that made the Dunk a true lifestyle silhouette. This pairing of colorways, especially with two tones, is an easy combination for streetwear as well as business casual or classic style sneakers. It’s no wonder so many colorways feature these neutral color combinations.

Sneaker Talk: Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Island Green”

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Island Green” was originally released in September 2017. It introduced a new burst of energy into the Foamposite franchise. The supercharged colorway on the Air Foamposite Pro was immediately compared to the “Electric Blue” Foamposite from 2011. However, the unique seafoam hue helped the model distinguish itself from the comparison in mind.

It sports a bright molded Foamposite shell in a reflective turquoise color, and a chrome jewel Swoosh along the side. Balancing black details on the eyestays, tongue and collar, and a carbon fiber midfoot shank for durability and support. The translucent icy outsole ties the sneaker together, looking cool in play and off the court. The pair is memorable for that pop of metallic that compliments the crisp clean aqua base. Foamposite fans still appreciate that level of detail.

The Island Green Foamposite Pro is a popular sneaker among collectors for its aggressive palette and futuristic feel. It is one of the more memorable Foamposite releases in the last decade thanks to the pairing of nostalgia and new energy in the model.

Where To Buy

While it is no longer available at retail, they can be found on secondary marketplaces such as StockX.

If you missed this one in 2017, it’s still a great pick-up that has continued cultural relevance in the Foamposite lineup.
