Nike will be expanding their VaporMax lineup for the fall season with a handful of new color options. One of them is this upcoming “Gym Blue” iteration.

Dressed in a Gym Blue, Bordeaux, and College Navy color scheme. This Nike Air VaporMax features a Blue Flyknit upper with Navy overlays. Bordeaux accents is used on the tongue, Swoosh logo, heel tab, and insole. A full-length VaporMax sole unit completes the design.

Earlier in the year, adidas Y-3 released the Runner 4D in a “White/Black” iteration. For the fall season, Y-3 will be releasing the silhouette in a “Black” colorway.

This adidas Y-3 Runner 4D features a full Black Primeknit upper, ultra-resistant eyestays, Yohji Yamamoto embroidery on the heel and a unique cording design on its Three Stripe branding. Y-3 branding on the tongue, leather overlays, atop a 4D printed midsole completes the design.

To go along with “Semi Frozen Yellow,” “Aero Blue,” and “Clear Pink” colorways of the adidas Continental 80, the Three Stripes also debuted a premium snakeskin rendition of the runner.

One pairs comes dressed in Chalk White/Carbon-Grey and the other in Core Black/Carbon-Grey. Both are constructed with faux snakeskin leather scented with suede on the mudguard. A Gum outsole completes the design.

To go along with Nike’s “Tartan” Collection, which includes the Air Max 1, Air Max Plus, Air Max 97, and the Internationalist, they’re also releasing an additional Air Max 1 covered in fashion-styled pattern.

This Nike Air Max 1 comes in a mix of houndstooth, tweed, and pinstripes. The shoe comes dressed in a Black and White colors scheme, that also includes leather material on the mudguard.

You can now find this Nike Air Max 1 Patchwork available in women’s sizing at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Titolo. A stateside release on Nike.com should be coming very soon.

Better PSNY Friends and Family Air Jordan 12: “Wheat” or “Black/White”

Inspired by the Japanese rising sun, Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 12, which was the first Air Jordan to utilize Nike’s Zoom Air technology.

Known for their partnerships, menswear brand Public School NY is one of Jordan Brand’s top choices when it comes to releasing a collaborative design.

Back in 2017, the two released an Air Jordan 12 “City Pack” that consisted of three colorways for New York City, Paris, and Milan. During the design process, Jordan Brand and PSNY released a limited Friends and Family edition that came dressed in a similar “Wheat” motif as the NYC retail pair, but with a few minor differences.

Another limited Friends and Family release was a Black/White colorway of the PSNY x Air Jordan 12. This pair features a plush and grainy leather upper in Black with White soles and “PSNY” branded on the tongues.

Sneaker Talk: Nike Air Max LeBron 7 “More Than A Game”

To kick off LeBron James’ More Than A Game world tour in partnership with Lionsgate in Chicago, Nike Basketball released a limited edition Nike Air Max LeBron 7 back in 2009. Each of the ten cities of the tour, Nike released only 123 pairs of this exclusive colorway.

Inspired by the school colors of Saint Vincent-Saint Mary High School (SVSM) in Akron, Ohio, where James played basketball. This LeBron 7 comes dressed in a mix of White, Metallic Gold, and Gorge Green.

Each shoe included an image from the Lionsgate film, More Than A Game, which shares James’ journey both on and off the court with his teammates from SVSM. The images were inspired by one of James’ six pillars or personal credos – Passion, Fearless, Tradition, Community, Family and Loyalty. The Chicago style represents “Loyalty” and has an image of James with his arms around two teammates from SVSM.

UPDATE: Jordan Brand has revealed the “International Flight” Air Jordan 12. In 1996, MJ took his game to Tokyo, Japan, to host a basketball clinic and participate in a friendly showcase with other NBA superstars. He was spotted in his current signature shoe at the time, the Air Jordan 12, which takes design inspiration from a vintage fashion shoe from the 1920s that utilized a radiant quilted pattern. This College Navy, University Red and Sail colorway pays homage to that experience and adds additional details including an embossed kimono print and “Air Jordan” in Japanese characters.

UK rapper Skepta and Nike will be expanding their partnership with another Air Max collaboration, this time on the Air Max Deluxe.

Dressed in a Black and Deep Red color scheme. This Nike Air Max Deluxe reinterpretation of the iconic 1999 Air Max Deluxe (known for its bold printed uppers) features design details inspired by the insomnia of long nights on the road. The medial side of the shoe reads “NEVER SLEEP ON TOUR,” an ethos that has fueled Skepta’s work rate. The upper pattern draws from the VHS static-led aesthetic found in the award-winning video for “That’s Not Me.” In a final nod, that single’s release date is printed on the shoe’s lateral side.
