Dressed in a True Berry, Rush Pink, White color scheme. This Air Jordan 4 features a Berry-colored upper with Rush Pink accents paired with White laces and matching sole. Highlighting the shoe is the classic “For the Love of the Game” embroidery logo on the heel.

LeBron James’ ninth signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 9, is arguably one of his best models that Nike Basketball has released to-date.

Two of the popular LeBron 9 releases was the “Christmas” colorway from 2011 and the “Big Bang” from the 2012 All-Star Collection. One came dressed in the holiday inspired Red/Green color scheme, while the other had an outer space theme.

Jordan Brand will be releasing a few new Chicago-colored Air Jordan 1s throughout 2019. Following a look at the “Gym Red” iteration that has a lot of similarities to the recent “Not For Resale” release, this one sports a similar Black, White, and Gym Red color scheme.

No leaked photos have surfaced just yet, but this Air Jordan 1 is expected to feature a White upper with Red overlays and matching Red toe while Black detailing wraps the wing piece and heel.

We’ve seen Nike’s Black History Month Collection, and now adidas will be adding to theirs as we now take a look at this upcoming Ultra Boost Uncaged iteration.

This adidas Ultra Boost comes in a mix of White and Cream throughout its Primeknit upper with a tonal heel counter and tongue label. Adding a bit of contrast are its medial eyelets that comes in Purple, Black, and Red. A White Boost midsole, Black rubber outsole and an insole that displays a bright Orange basketball, “Celebrating Black Culture” in Purple lettering, and “CBC” in a White font to complete the design.

Below is a statement from the Three Stripes. However, the shoe is still currently available at SSENSE.

“Adidas released a new collection in celebration of Black History Month featuring designs inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. It includes footwear and apparel across a variety of categories. Toward the latter stages of the design process, we added a running shoe to the collection that we later felt did not reflect the spirit or philosophy of how adidas believes we should recognize and honor Black History Month. After careful consideration, we have decided to withdraw the product from the collection.”

Heron Preston Releasing Two Nike Huarache EDGE Colorways

Heron Preston, who has worked with Virgil Abloh and Kanye West, is set to release his own collaboration with Nike on two upcoming Huarache E.D.G.E. color options. The model itself was first seen in Paris during Preston’s show.

“I’m all about telling stories,” says Preston. “Having worked at Nike and understanding the full breadth of product categories the brand has to offer, I wanted to be the person to take on the challenge of identifying and celebrating new stuff.”

The Huarache E.D.G.E. takes cues from a shoe familiar to Preston, the 1991 Huarache Run, but re-imagines the latter’s bootie fit with a FOAM FIT system that sits the foot directly on the foam rather than a sockliner. Preston adds his own unique branding cues (including signature icons on the heel and toe box), granting aesthetic intrigue to the contemporary comfort play.
