Nike Basketball will be adding Kobe Bryant’s Zoom Kobe 4 signature shoe to their Protro series as a follow up to the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro.

Dressed in a White, Orion Blue, and Varsity Purple color scheme. This Nike Kobe 4 Protro is expected to be the popular “Draft Day” colorway. The shoe features a White upper with Blue and Purple accents as a nod to Kobe Bryant originally being drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996 before getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

UPDATE: Nike confirms that the “Draft Day” Kobe 4 Protro will release on February 15th as a nod to when Kobe Bryant was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 13 pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. That same day, Black Mamba was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, which this memorable moment was celebrated in 2009 with the launch of the “Draft Day” Zoom Kobe 4 (IV). 10 years later, the classic colorway returns to celebrate 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend back in Charlotte.

UPDATE: According to Foot Locker, the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” will release on February 15th during 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend. The colorway is fitting to where the game is being played in Charlotte, as the Hornets were the original team to draft Kobe before trading him to the Los Angeles Lakers.

After a successful 20th Anniversary celebration in 2018, Nike has no plans on slowing down with new releases of the Air Max 98 for 2019.

This release comes dressed in a mix of Gunsmoke, Team Orange, Laser Orange, and White. It features a combination of Grey and Black with White adding for a nice breakup to the dark tones. Highlighting the shoe are Orange and Concord-like accents, while having Yellow hues on the tongues.

Nike is set to introduce a brand new hybrid model that takes elements from the Air Max 720 and the Air More Uptempo basketball shoe and combines them both into one, creating the Nike Air More Uptempo 720.

Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Toddler Release Date

While there isn’t likely to be another Off-White x Air Jordan 1 release or restock in the near future, the popular collaboration is expected to return exclusively for kids.

According to @py_rates, the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 is set to release in all three of its colorways that includes, “Chicago”, Europe-exclusive “White” version, and the “UNC” iteration in toddler sizing.

An exact release date has yet to be confirmed, but these toddler Off-White x Air Jordan 1s are expected to launch later this Fall 2019. Stay tuned for more updates.

Charlotte-based retailer Social Status has teamed up with Jordan Brand to release a premium edition Air Jordan 6 to celebrate 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Inspired by Michael Jordan’s alter ego the “Black Cat” as well as conquering fears and surviving the concrete jungle to earning his first Championship in 1991.

The shoe features a Black snakeskin upper with pony hair overlays on the heel, side panel, and toe box. Concord accents adds for a nice contrast placed on the Jumpman tongue, heel pull tab, insole, and midsole. Nike Air branded heels atop an icy translucent outsole completes the design.

There really isn’t much difference from previous models, as it will come with a Flyknit constructed upper, sock-like ankle collar, and Swoosh logos on the sides. Its signature full-length VaporMax sole unit completes the design.
