In this episode of TSB, of course the crew had to talk about the human headline known as Kanye West, and his assertion that he makes more money than Michael Jordan from his sneakers.

Under Armour can’t catch a break. Very rarely are you able to get multiple generations of people to agree on something, and no, it doesn’t bode well for Under Armour. Oh, if you downloaded their fitness app, and you began to suddenly receive weird emails, there may be a correlation of historic proportion. Once again, none of it bodes well for Under Armour.

There’s more news from the FBI’s investigation into the NCAA and Adidas. For the money Adidas allegedly paid players, it seems a little on the cheap side. We’re not sure it was worth the negative press.

And finally, Nightwing 2303, from WearTesters.com, joins us to re-retro a segment we used to do on the show called “Rock, Ball, or Bury”. But since we’re on radio we’re going to pretend that it’s new.

Nike Brings Back The Air Force 1 Mid Jewel

Nike is set to officially bring back their classic Air Force 1 Mid Jewel edition that will be arriving in a few new colorways.

Today, we take a look at two of those color options, with one dressed in Wheat and the other in Blue/Grey. Both are constructed in a mix of tonal nubuck and leather with a mini Jewel Nike Swoosh logo on the sides. A classic White midsole and matching outsole completes the design.

No official release date has been set, but you can check out both these Nike Air Force 1 Mid Jewel colorways below. Look for them to become available very soon on Nike.com.

Parisian boutique colette recently received a special gift from Jordan Brand, which included an Air Jordan 1 as a nod to their 20 year-run in business before closing their doors for good last December.

Dressed in a similar scheme as the “Storm Blue” Air Jordan 1, colette’s version comes with the stores signature dot logo and the year “1997” opening and “2017” closing on the heels. Finishing off the design is a translucent outsole with the phrase “Au Revoir” that translates to, goodbye until we meet again.

Concepts and New Balance expand their partnership with the debut of a collaborative Concepts x New Balance 998.

This New Balance 998 is inspired by the colors of the mallard duck, often found in New England. It features a Light Brown hue built with premium suede pairs with a darker tone of Brown. Giving the shoe a nice added contrast are Blue and Yellow accents along with an iridescent reflective material on the tongue, forefoot and midfoot logo.

You can already find the Concepts x New Balance 998 available exclusively at their pop-up at 9 JFK Street in Cambridge. The retail price tag is set at $220 USD.

Jordan Brand Celebrates Tinker’s Birthday With Air Jordan 3 Releases All Week

In celebration of Tinker Hatfield’s 66th birthday, Nike will be releasing limited pairs of the Air Jordan 3 throughout the entire week.

Dubbed, the “Week of 3” that kicked off today with a re-release of the “Tinker” Air Jordan 3. A different pair will release on Nike SNKRS for the rest of the week from May 1st to May 5th. The remaining four pairs are unknown, but will be revealed as a surprise drop in every morning so keep an eye-out on your SNKRS app.

While the “Tinker” Air Jordan 3s were restocked in the U.S. on Nike SNKRS, it is also noted that the “Week of 3” has only been announced in the U.K. as of now. So we’ll see if the trend continues and U.S. residents will have access to the rest of the releases.
