Nike Basketball Unveils Kevin Durant’s KD 13

Nike Basketball has officially unveiled Kevin Durant’s 13th signature shoe, the Nike KD 13 in six upcoming colorways.

The color options that will be available is its base “Black/White” pair, “Planet of Hoops,” “Hype,” “Chill,” “Home Team,” as well as an upcoming “Bred” makeup. It comes constructed with a double-staked Air Zoom setup with a full-length Air Zoom cushioning unit.

“The intent behind a Zoom Bag is similar to that of a mechanical spring underfoot,” says Ross Klein, Senior Creative Director for Nike Basketball. “The essence of a spring is to return the amount of energy you put into it. In the KD13, we’re doubling the spring in the form of the double-stacked forefoot Zoom, allowing you more travel in the system and more energy back.”

Nike KD 13 Release Dates

Look for the Nike KD 13 in the “Black/White” colorway to release on April 6th globally along with the “Planet of Hoops” colorway in Greater China and April 17th in North America. Both the “Hyper” and “Chill” makeups will release on April 10th and April 24th, respectively. The “Home Team” edition will release on May 1st followed by the “Bred” colorway on June 1st.
