Better Air Jordan 5: “Raging Bull” or “Trophy Room”

Michael Jordan’s fifth signature shoe, the Air Jordan 5, is one of the his most famous models to-date. The shoe has seen several classic and extremely rare releases, including these two shown below.

Released back in 2009, the Air Jordan 5 “Raging Bull” was part of an all-time classic Air Jordan Pack. It features a Red suede upper with Black detailing atop a clear outsole.

Ten years later, the Air Jordan 5 dropped as a “Friends and Family” exclusive from Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room boutique, which also included an “Ice Blue” colorway. Inspired by his father Michael Jordan’s actual trophy room in their family home, this alternate pair features a Red suede upper with Black and Ice Blue accents. Only 223 pairs were given to close friends and never made it to retail.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Medicom 3” was the third collaboration between Nike SB and the Japanese collectible brand.

Dressed in a Silver and Chrome color scheme. This Nike SB Dunk Low receives a monochromatic treatment capped with a futuristic shine. It features a Silver leather upper paired with 3M reflective Swooshes.

Much like the first two versions from Nike SB and Medicom Toy, this release was also available exclusively to Medicom’s online store.

7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low Release Has Been Canceled

Back in 2008, Nike SB dropped the Dunk High “Big Gulp” that was nicknamed after the famous Big Gulp size cup that convenience store 7-Eleven offers. For 2020, 7-Eleven will officially release a collaboration with Nike SB on the Dunk Low silhouette.

This offering of the Nike SB Dunk Low sports the stores iconic color blocking of Red, Green, and Orange with the shop’s official logo on the lateral ankle. Other details includes “NIKE” on the heels that mimics the stacked 7-Eleven design. White covers the tongues, laces, heels, Swooshes, and midsole completed with a Gum rubber outsole.

UPDATE 5/15: According to Matt Welty, Associate Editor of Complex Sneakers, the 7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low has been canceled. The shoe was originally set to coincide with the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo as a nod to the city’s convenience stores.
