atmos Nike Air Max 1 Animal 3 Pack Release Date

Japanese boutique atmos debuted their iconic Nike “Animal” Pack back in 2006, followed by a new version of the Air Max 1 and Air Max 95 in 2018.

Now, atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima has revealed its latest Nike Air Max 1 “Animal 3.0 Pack” that consists of three new colorways.

These three options each come with their own unique combination of faux fur used on the upper paired with bright accents on the branding consisting of: “Green/Cow,” “Orange/Leopard,” and “Blue/Tiger.”

Look for the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Animal 3.0 Pack” to release on July 13th at atmos locations in Japan. The retail price tag is set at $230 USD each. A stateside release has yet to be announced.

UPDATE: Following its debut on Saturday, July 13th at atmos’ Tokyo store and Japanese website, the “Animal 3.0” Air Max 1 Pack will also be available at ComplexCon Chicago from July 20th to 22nd. A wider stateside release has yet to be announced.

UPDATE 7/9: atmos has announced that their Nike Air Max 1 DLX Animal 3.0 Pack will release on July 13th online and at their Japan locations.

Nike Zoom Freak 1 “MVP” PE Revealed With Red Swoosh

The 2018-2019 NBA MVP and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s revealed an exclusive “MVP” PE of his first-ever signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Freak 1 during the Drew League tournament.

This special edition of the Freak 1 is highlighted with colorful letters covering the entire upper from the Greek Freak’s long and often misspelled name. A bold Blue Swoosh on the midsole with speckled detailing completes the design.

UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo’s name murdered the alphabet, which earned him the “Alphabet Soup” nickname during his childhood. As a nod to that, Nike designed an exclusive “MVP” Zoom Freak 1. Following a look at the pair that featured a Blue Swoosh, the Swoosh also produced a pair that comes with a Red Swoosh. British sneaker retailer size? has revealed their latest adidas Originals collaboration on the brand new Ozweego silhouette.

Inspired by the Oswego Lake in Oregon, this adidas Ozweego features a Maroon upper as a nod to the Western Red Cedar trees in Clackamas County, while a rich, earthy gum hue adorns the supportive suede overlays. Reminiscent of the lake itself, the soft leather tongue and padded lining are soaked in a crystal cool Aqua Blue.

The woven Three Stripe branding and decorative footbed are an ode to the region’s century-spanning history, celebrating the creative patterning produced by the area’s indigenous peoples. The striking geometrical decorations can be traced back to cave paintings, stonework and fabrics stretching back millennia. One final touch: 3M accents feature throughout the uppers to ensure you stay visible when the sun goes down.

Converse Reveals Next Basketball Lineup

Converse has officially revealed their fall footwear lineup that includes the Mission VLTG V and ERX 260, in both MID and OX versions, paying respect to Converse’s basketball heritage in new ways.

Several elements of the decade’s sportswear history is reflected — including an early penchant for tracksuits to a later embrace of bold geometries — and re-crafted.

Mission VLTG V

Originally released in 1995, the Converse Voltage made an immediate statement on collegiate and NBA courts through its dynamic “bolt-chevron” upper pattern. That it was worn by some of the era’s most potent guards led to its mystic and made the shoe a cult favorite (lock-up with school uniform styles helped too).

For 2019, the Voltage is brought back from the archives for the first time, its spirit channeled through the new, women’s-only Mission VLTG V. This vision of the shoe reinterprets the ’95 silhouette with an exaggerated heel arch, lightweight SmartFoam cushioning and street-ready herringbone outsole.

ERX 260 MID

The color blocking of the ERX 260 MID draws from a series of Converse tracksuits sold in 1990 under the “CONS Collection” label. Along with an embossed tongue, these blocked color palettes celebrate the ERX’s over-the-top verve. The shoe is completed by OrthoLite insole cushioning and an EVA heel.

Notable for its brash high and mid models, the ERX gets a low-cut, off-court refresh in 2019. It retains archival design cues, including embossed tongue details, and is given an OrthoLite insole with EVA heel for added comfort.

Tinker Hatfield took Michael Jordan’s childhood nickname, Black Cat, as inspiration when designing the Air Jordan 13, as he believed MJ’s game mirrored how a panther pounced on its prey. One of the key features to the shoe is its holographic bubble on the ankle heel.
