Nike Basketball will be celebrating 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago with another “Coming to America” offering of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Zoom Freak 1.

This Nike Zoom Freak 1 is inspired by the uniform that Eddie Murphy wore while working at McDowell’s restaurant. It features a mostly Black upper detailed with identical tartan graphics on the tongues, reverse Swoosh logo and heels. A White midsole atop a Dark Blue rubber outsole completes the design.

In addition to the shoes, Nike will also be releasing matching apparel branded with “Coming to America” on both the jacket and pants.

Much like Jordan Brand, Nike Basketball has revealed their lineup for the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. The footwear includes special themed colorways of Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Paul George, and Kevin Durant’s signature shoes.

The “Trophies” Nike Kyrie 6 comes dressed in a Red, Black, and Gold color blocking inspired by Chicago Bulls 1996 Championship. King James’ Nike LeBron 17 sports a “Monstars” theme inspired by his upcoming Space Jam 2 film. Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 1 Coming to America theme continues with an “Employee of the Month” colorway. Paul George’s Gatorade collab also adds to its lineup with a new Multicolored Nike PG 4 inspired by a mix of player’s favorite flavors. Jordan Brand has officially revealed their entire lineup for 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago.

To release alongside the footwear, Jordan Brand will also be launching a “Jordan Unite” collection inspired by the way basketball unites communities.

The lineup includes the OG-inspired Air Ship/Air Jordan 1 “New Beginnings” Pack, as well as a “Red Cement” Air Jordan 3 and a women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 – all having Chicago themes. Also added to the retro lineup is the “Racer Blue” Air Jordan 9.

Angus Chiang Reebok Zig Kinetica 2020 Release Date

Reebok has once again partnered with contemporary menswear label Angus Chiang for a brand new iteration of the Zig Kinetica. Hot off the runway, the new collaboration debuted at Paris Fashion Week as the Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 2.

Drawing from the standardized RGB pallet, the new iteration is a culmination of vivid Reebok designs with multiple overlays and Chiang’s signature color blocking techniques.

Playing with the idea of “clashing harmonization,” the diverse range of materials used, including corduroy, leather and canvas, come together to create an elevated look and feel with a utilitarian twist.
