EA SPORTS just revealed the Madden NFL 26 cover athlete, and Saquon Barkley is literally jumping into greatness.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ star running back becomes the first Eagle in 20 years to grace the Madden cover. After rushing for over 2,500 yards and leading Philly to a Super Bowl LIX win, Barkley joins the elite 99 Club. Talk about leveling up in real life!

The game features two covers: one shows Barkley mid-air executing his now-legendary hurdle over a Jaguars defender. He’s rocking shiny silver Nike LeBron 4 cleats so exclusive, even LeBron shouted him out. The other cover? A moody profile shot proving he’s ready for gridiron greatness.
But don’t grab those silver cleats just yet—they’re still player-exclusive. However, Barkley is set to drop his Nike Alpha Menace 4 Elite cleats soon, so fans can still step into greatness (just not over defenders… yet).
Madden NFL 26 hits shelves globally on August 14, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. New gameplay features go live on June 4, so mark your calendars.
Deluxe Edition and EA SPORTS MVP Bundle pre-orders are now available. Perks include early access, Madden Points, and crossover content for College Football 26. EA Play subscribers? You get a 10-hour trial and bonuses, of course.
From viral leaps to video game fame, Barkley’s season keeps winning. Get your squad ready—it’s almost game time.
