The Comme des Garçons SHIRT x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 drops in an all-white edition that’s fitting of CDG’s signature pared-back approach.

Design-wise, it keeps the Kayano’s late-2000s running DNA intact. Layered synthetic panels and breathable meshwork result in a clean and structured construction, while a CDG-centric tonal branding on the tongue gives the sneaker its understated edge.

On the sole, visible GEL cushioning provides soft impact protection, and the frosted outsole introduces an understated technical finish.

This iteration is also one of the simplest compared to previous Comme des Garçons x ASICS collaborations. It comes off as a more intentional and refined take on the OG performance staple. Steph Curry and Under Armour have parted ways in an official split, bringing to an end a relationship that would slowly become one of the most impactful sneaker runs of recent memory. Announced today, Curry Brand will now operate as a fully independent company. Under Armour will still deliver the Curry 13 and a round of apparel through October 2026, but after that, it’s all Curry Brand steering its own ship.

Curry kept the message classy. He thanked UA for betting on him early and helping him build “something bigger than a shoe,” a line that honestly sums up how his brand has functioned over the last five years. Curry Brand has poured real energy into kids, communities, and the sport itself — and he made it clear that mission isn’t changing one bit.

He also suggested this is only the beginning. “I’m just fired up for the next chapter,” Steph said. “The next generation is the focus of my brand, so I’m going to continue to double down on that.”

And while the split naturally raises questions, here’s the part worth noting: Curry isn’t expected to jump to another giant like Nike or adidas. The most likely path is that Curry Brand stays fully independent, which gives him total creative control but also puts real pressure on manufacturing and distribution.

Under Armour framed the move as part of a broader company reset, signaling big changes coming on their side too. Still, the legacy of the Curry line remains strong — and with the brand signing De’Aaron Fox not long ago, this shift feels more like a new chapter than a goodbye.

A$AP Bari just gave fans an early look at the Nike Air Max Goadome “Pony Hair” Pack, featuring two luxurious makeups of the rugged ACG-inspired boot. The Harlem native and Cactus Plant Flea Market insider previewed both pairs on Instagram, reigniting nostalgia around one of Nike’s most divisive street classics.

Widely prevalent throughout Harlem and the Bronx for years, the Air Max Goadome continues to raise the question of whether it truly originated in New York or D.C. The model’s original designer, Carl Blakeslee, has also given credit to D.C. and Baltimore for popularizing “Nike Boots” in the city streets before they became a national trend.

The latest drops retain the boot’s tough construction and classic Air Max cushioning, but swap heavy-duty leather for pony hair-like uppers. The first colorway is finished in monochromatic black, while the second option combines Sail, Cacao Wow, and Black for a cow-print pattern that reimagines the outdoor silhouette as streetwear.

Atlanta continues to make its mark in the sneaker world and now, Jordan Brand is shining a spotlight on the city with for the Air Jordan 11s 30th Anniversary. After teaming with James Whitner and his A Ma Maniére, Atlanta is now one of three American cities to get its own regional AJ11, joining Las Vegas and Houston.

The “285” takes its name from the Interstate that circles Atlanta and symbolizes the city’s hustle and bustle. It has a clean, white tumbled leather upper with debossed Jumpman branding. The Slawn x Crocs Classic Clog transforms a standard silhouette into a crazed graffiti mess.

A black base is tagged with red, blue, yellow, and white in a freehand, sketchbook style. It’s one of the most bombastic treatments from Nigerian designer Olaolu Slawn yet, and the chaotic aesthetic lands hard.

The shoe brings soft blue tones mixed with bright green hits, and that combo
instantly caught my eye. It turns out the colors come straight from Seattle Rotary, the AAU program that shaped him long before the league. That detail hits different because you can tell it means something to him. The flipped-down collar added a relaxed look that he has been trying since joining Jordan Brand in 2022.

Nike elevates its cushioning offerings with the bold new Nike Vomero Premium “Hyper Pink”. This women’s-only colorway is arriving in November 2025.

The Vomero Premium steps up with an exaggerated 55mm heel stack height. Inside, a pair of independent Air Zoom pods—one in the forefoot, one in the heel—along with a thick layer of ZoomX foam provide plush cushioning. These two pods compress and expand independently, providing a ride optimized for energy return and endurance.

The engineered mesh upper is shrouded in bright “Hyper Pink.” It’s structured, but very breathable, and on the side, a black Swoosh is placed as a subtle design element that provides a small counterbalance to the neon color. Across the medial panel, Nike has embossed the “AIR” lettering, which appears to pay homage to the Air More Uptempo. It’s a curious aesthetic cross-pollination that we’re not mad about.

The Vomero Premium is a further progression of Nike’s move to more maximalist silhouettes, like the Pegasus Premium, but with a bolder, more lifestyle-leaning edge.
