adidas Re-Releases The Rekord As The Overdub

Originally released way back in 1959, the Rekord was somewhat of an instant classic in the three striped world. Having eluded the spot light for several years, the trainers make their welcome return showcasing not only their debut OG Blue colorway but, a newly bestowed name.

Now known as the adidas Overdub, despite the sneakers’ new identity their DNA remains largely unchanged. Constructed from a plush leather, they feature serrated edge Three Stripes to the sides as well a trefoil to the heel for minimal yet effective branding. Lightweight and purposefully design to be streamlined, the Overdub also comes in a vintage inspired White/Green while a suede t-toe overlay, subtle stitch detailing and sturdy rubber outsole round out the design.

Jordan Brand will be expanding its collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 with an upcoming Air Jordan 4 “PSG” release.

Nike is set to release a few new telephone-inspired Nike Air Force 1s as part of an upcoming “Toll Free” Pack.

Part of the pack includes this Nike Air Force 1 High that comes dressed in a Black, Sail, and Vast Grey color scheme. New Balance and Salehe Bembury Announce 2002R Collab

New Balance is collaborating with Salehe Bembury for his first independent footwear collaboration, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R.

Designed in two days with the New Balance team, Salehe was inspired by trail materials and colorways which was sparked by his move from New York City to Los Angeles and new-found love for the outdoors. The designer took the classic silhouette and revamped it for his first footwear collaboration under his name brand, allowing him to express his own creative vision.

Salehe chose a lesser-known style from the New Balance archives, and his iteration of the 2002R features a hairy suede, leather, and mesh 2002 upper on a 860v2 sole unit. Antelope Canyon-inspired colorways with a shearling “N” logo in Sky Blue completes the design.
