Nike Air Force 1 Low “82” Highlighted in Two OG Air Jordan 1 Colorways

Designed by Bruce Kilgore and introduced in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 was the first ever basketball shoe to feature Nike Air technology, revolutionizing the game and sneaker culture forever. Over three decades since its first release, the Air Force 1 remains true to its roots while earning its status as a fashion staple for seasons to come.

This latest release of the Nike Air Force 1 Low combines two OG Air Jordan 1 colorways as a nod to both iconic silhouettes from the 1980s. The shoe features a mismatch color blocking honoring the OG “Royal” and “Bred” makeups from 1985.

Both feature a Black tumbled leather build with Red and Blue contrasting accents on each shoe. Much like the Air Jordan 1 Mid, this offering features embroidered Swooshes and mesh paneling at the midfoot and tongue. Its “82” motif on the ankle nods to the debut of the original Air Force 1 completed with “Nike Air” branded tongue tags atop White midsoles and Red/Blue rubber outsoles.

adidas Originals is getting ready to launch an upcoming NFL Ultra Boost PE capsule collection, which will include this special edition Ultra Boost Mid that pays homage to Von Miller.

Inspired by his DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas, this adidas Ultra Boost Mid feature a Black and Green Primeknit upper with a set of matching laces. This special offering of the Nike Air Max Plus 3 features an upper covered in the topographical pattern with striking White leather overlays, tongues, toe cap, laces and heel counter. Who would’ve thought Bruce Kilgore’s Air Force 1 would go on to have such a huge impact on the sneaker community as it did. Since its debut, Nike has continued to release new styles of the classic silhouette, and this time with some added hardware.

This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low features a traditional White leather upper with perforations on the toe box and side panels. Nike’s latest women’s exclusive model, the Nike Air Force 1 Low LXX, has surfaced in another new colorway that will be releasing during the winter months.

Nike will be adding to their latest “Chain Link” Air Max 90 pack by releasing another new iteration of the shoe during its 30th Anniversary celebration.

This latest Nike Air Max 90 features a Black mesh on the toe with Red mesh covering the tongues and ankle collar. Black tumbled leather overlays and mudguards pairs with Sky Blue leather Swooshes and toe tip. Reebok and Montreal skate brand Dime have unveiled their FW20 collaborative capsule featuring three cross-cultural takes on Shawn Kemp’s historic Reebok Kamikaze 2 Low model.

Imagining an alternate universe where skateboarding and basketball collide, the Dime x Reebok Kamikaze II Low navigates the intersection of these cultures at which sport-inspired fashion, expression and creativity reside, while embracing the relative invisibility of Canadian skateboarding.

One pair is dressed in “Royal/Chalk-Black-Sonic Green,” the second in “Black/White” and a third in a “Yellow/Black” makeup.

“We wanted to bring back an iconic basketball shoe with lots of history and give it a Dime twist,” explained Dime owners Antoine Asselin and Phil Lavoie.

Patta x Reebok Club C Stands For Pan-African Unity

Following the release of their New Balance 920 collaboration, Patta appears to now be collaborating with Reebok on a special edition Club C.

This iteration of the Reebok Club C features a full-grain leather upper, with a perforated toe panel and foam tongue for comfort and breathability. The traditional Reebok woven label with the Union Jack was replaced by Patta branding and the Pan-African flag. The Red, Black and Green flag was conceived by Marcus Garvey exactly 100 years ago and stands for Pan-African unity.

Part of the proceeds from this shoe will always be donated to The Black Archives from Amsterdam, London’s Sistah Space & The Good Neighborhood Collective in Milan, all local organisations for communities of the African Diaspora, so we can structurally support them in their work.

“We’ve been talking to Reebok for a very long time,” explains Lee Stuart, Patta’s Brand Director. “With this collaboration we wanted to create something classic that we can always have in stock, something timeless that people can always pick up when they visit the store”.

This Made UK 1500 features a bold, vibrant highlighter Orange covering its upper constructed in a mix of premium pigskin suede and mesh, with hits of Black to add some contrast. Finishing off the design is its classic ENCAP midsole to provide cushioning and support atop a Black rubber outsole.
