Patta x Reebok Club C Stands For Pan-African Unity

Following the release of their New Balance 920 collaboration, Patta appears to now be collaborating with Reebok on a special edition Club C.

This iteration of the Reebok Club C features a full-grain leather upper, with a perforated toe panel and foam tongue for comfort and breathability. The traditional Reebok woven label with the Union Jack was replaced by Patta branding and the Pan-African flag. The Red, Black and Green flag was conceived by Marcus Garvey exactly 100 years ago and stands for Pan-African unity.

UPDATE 11/30: Dutch label Patta has revealed their Reebok Club C collaboration that stands for Pan-African unity. The shoe will release December 5th in-store at Patta Amsterdam, Milan, and London.

Part of the proceeds from this shoe will always be donated to The Black Archives from Amsterdam, London’s Sistah Space & The Good Neighborhood Collective in Milan, all local organisations for communities of the African Diaspora, so we can structurally support them in their work.

“We’ve been talking to Reebok for a very long time,” explains Lee Stuart, Patta’s Brand Director. “With this collaboration we wanted to create something classic that we can always have in stock, something timeless that people can always pick up when they visit the store”.

New Balance 1500 Surfaces in Neon Orange

The New Balance 1500 typically releases in a refined color palette, but for this release, the UK-based Flimby factory decided to go bold with their latest colorway.

This Made UK 1500 features a bold, vibrant highlighter Orange covering its upper constructed in a mix of premium pigskin suede and mesh, with hits of Black to add some contrast. Finishing off the design is its classic ENCAP midsole to provide cushioning and support atop a Black rubber outsole.

Already available at select retailers in Europe, you can expect the New Balance 1500 “Neon Orange” to arrive soon in the states on NewBalance.com. The retail price tag is set at $240 USD.

adidas Basketball and James Harden are getting ready to launch the Rockets shooting guard’s fifth signature shoe, the Harden Vol. 5.

The adidas Harden Vol. 5 features a lot of details and elements from previous Harden releases, including the popular Boost technology. This offering of the shoe sports a bright Solar Red color blocking with multicolored suede patches throughout. Adding foam padded on the inner ankle with “Created W/ James Harden Volume: 5 Chapter 1 / Creator” text on the medial completes the design.

In addition to the two original colorways set to kick off the month of December, New Balance will also be releasing a classic “Bred” iteration of their 550 model.

This offering of the New Balance 550 features a Black suede upper with matching leather around the ankle collar. Grey is used on the liner and mesh ankle area while having pops of Red accented throughout the shoe as well as used on the “N” logos. A White midsole atop a Black and Red rubber outsole completes the design.

Air Jordan 4 “Manila” Limited To 150 Pairs

To celebrate the opening of Nike Manila in the Philippines, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 4 “Manila” that’s limited to only 150 pairs.

Inspired by the city’s official flag, this Air Jordan 4 features a Green leather upper built with ostrich textures on the tongue and stingray leather texture on the mudguard. Black covers the netting, laces, tongue labels, wings, heels, sockliner, and midsole, while having pops of Yellow on the Jumpman hangtag, heels, and outsole as well as “Flight” on the tongue label. Red, Blue, and Yellow displayed on the outsole nods to the flag of the Philippines.

Nigo’s Human Made label is back with a new Pharrell x adidas collaboration for the holiday season. But instead of using the classic silhouettes like the Stan Smith, Campus, and Rivalry, he’ll be debuting a new model called, the adidas Tokio Solar Hu.

This iteration of the Tokio Solar Hu comes dressed in a vibrant color blocking crafted in a mix of materials. The shoe features a mesh constructed upper paired with leather overlays on the Three Stripes, crossed strips on the heels, eyelets as well as covering the tongues. Suede overlays up front and on the rear with Human Made’s signature branding on the heel tab. A bright Orange Boost midsole atop a Blue rubber outsole completes the design.

Nike Sportswear always capitalizes on their special collections, as they were very successful throughout 2020, and before the year’s end, Nike reveals their latest “Topography” collection that will include the Air Max Plus silhouette.

This special offering of the Nike Air Max Plus comes different from the other models in the collection, as it sports a Black makeup instead of White. Its entire upper comes in the topographical pattern paired with Black plastic overlays and Red contrasting accents on the tongues, Swooshes, insoles, and Air bubbles. Black textured leather mudguards, plastic toe overlays, smooth leather heels atop a solid Black rubber sole completes the design.

One of the latest Nike Blazer Mid renditions to release is the Swooshes’ Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Patch model that will be offered in an upcoming “Smoke Grey” colorway.

This offering of the Nike Blazer sports a Smoke Grey, White, and Particle Grey color blocking. Another Crater Nike Air Max 95 On The Way

It appears that Nike will be releasing a pair of Crater Air Max 95s, and the Swoosh has just revealed its second colorway that will be releasing during the holiday season.

Much like the previous pair, this Nike Air Max 95 comes constructed with at least 20% recycled materials. The shoe features White open mesh upper with dark wool material used on the tongues and sides. Grey smooth leather on the toe and suede mudguards while having Volt insoles atop a speckled outsole made from 15% Nike Grind rubber completes the design.

Nike is set to use snakeskin textures on their latest Air Max 90 while continuing to celebrate the models 30th Anniversary before turning 31 in 2021.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 90 features a clean White base with White leather overlays and Grey suede mudguards. A neutral nude tone is used on the toe tip and tongue tag, while having a Light Tan snakeskin texture on the Swooshes and rear overlay. Before the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 90 officially comes to a close and turns 31, Nike still has a few new color options set to release. One of those includes this new offering that comes dressed in different shades of Pinks.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 4 is one of the most iconic Air Jordan models that debuted back in 1989. Two of the more popular colorways that released was the original “Bred” and “Fire Red” iterations.

In 2019 celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the iconic silhouette, Jordan Brand brought back the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” in its classic color scheme that Michael Jordan wore when he sank “The Shot” during the first round of the 1989 NBA Playoffs. True to its original build, the shoe also came with the popular “Nike Air” branding on the heels.

A year later in 2020, the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” made its return. The shoe comes in its original build featuring a White leather upper with Fire Red accents completed with the iconic “Nike Air” logo emblazoned on the heels.

Sneaker Talk: Nike SB Dunk Low “Piet Mondrian”

Released in February 2008, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Piet Mondrian” was inspired by modern art, featuring bold Black lines and primary colors modeled after the work of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian.

This Nike SB Dunk Low features a White canvas upper covered detailed with Black overlays, Blue heel tabs, and Red and Yellow overlays at the heel and toe, respectively. A White midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design.

Nike will continue to celebrate their yearly Black History Month collection honoring African American heritage during 2021. One of the models that will be included in the lineup is the popular Dunk Low.

How To Buy Frame Skate’s Nike SB Dunk Low

Dubai’s Frame Skate will also be teaming up with Nike Skateboarding to release their very own SB Dunk Low.

Dressed in a Chile Red, White, Lucky Green, and Black color scheme inspired by the colors of the Middle East. This Nike SB Dunk Low Two unlikely materials on the Swoosh, leather and corduroy, are patched together as a representation of love. The diamond ripstop on the quarter is reminiscent of the crisscross patterns of traditional fishnets that once filled the harbors.

The Black and White double tongues symbolize the equality and unity between men and women. The Black tongue has a pearl imagery to pay homage to the pearl divers, while the removable white tongue contains a falcon to reflect the falconry heritage.

Inspired by the patterns from shemagh – a Red and White checkered scarf traditionally used to protect the face and head from the desert heat and dust – is printed with a vintage aesthetic. The Black aglet at the tip of the laces also takes the detail from agal, a Black rope-like band placed over the head to hold the head scarf in place.
