The Sashiko Gals x New Balance 1300 JP partnership kicks off in a way that just feels right. Sashiko work has lived in Japan for ages, shaping small details most people never notice. The 1300 JP has its own mythology, built through rare runs and a loyal circle of fans. Putting them together creates a pair that looks slow-made, almost careful to a fault.

Only two pairs of the Sashiko Gals x New Balance 1300 JP and four varsity jackets are set to release through a raffle at New Balance Harajuku. The 1300 JP is priced at 363,000 yen (around $2,330 USD), while the jackets — one in each size from S to XL — will cost 990,000 yen (about $6,300 USD).

The 2025 reissue captures the metallic green shell with a new iridescent sheen of “Green Goblin” Flightposite vibes.
