Bape Sk8 Sta Colorways Releasing in February

In addition to the Court Sta styles, the Sk8 Sta will also be releasing in a few new colorways as part of Bape’s Spring 2021 footwear collection.

Three color options will be available all constructed with a suede build, while the Black/Yellow pair comes with the label’s signature star logo in leather stamped on the sides. Each also include a molded heel counter with the number 93, which represents the year Bape was founded.

Japanese streetwear label Bape will be releasing select colorways of their upcoming Court Sta and Court Sta Hi silhouettes.

The high-top version features a Black and Grey leather upper that resembles the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” colorway, while the low-tops is offered in two styles including White and Grey, and the other in Sail, Grey, and Purple. Both also feature Bape’s camouflage print on the overlays with the signature zig-zap star logo appearing on the sides.

Bandulu Converse Chuck 70 Pro Leather

Boston-based clothing brand Bandulu and Converse first teamed up back in 2015 creating several customizable Chuck 70s as part of their “First String” campaign. Nearly 6 years later, the two are returning for a new collaboration.

This latest capsule includes the Chuck 70 and Pro Leather with both pairs dressed in tonal Brown hues with embroidered paint splatters featured throughout the similar to other Bandulu products.

“We approached this collection as an ode to OG basketball culture through the lens of craft and artistry,” said Bandulu founder Pat Peltier.

In addition to the footwear, the capsule will include a range of matching apparel pieces and accessories inspired by basketball including a hoodie with chenille embroidered graphics, t-shirts, basketball shorts, and a duffle bag.

Reebok x STORY mfg. Announce Outdoor Collection

STORY mfg Reebok Club C Beatnik Release Date

Reebok and apparel brand STORY mfg. announce they have collaborated to reimagine the Club C and Beatnik through an outdoor lens. This marks the first sneaker collaboration STORY mfg. has pursued since the brand’s inception in 2013.

“This project was focused on our love of walking, nature and the outdoors. We came up with the brand on a walk together and whenever we need to think creatively, we go on a walk and hash things out,” said Saeed Al-Rubeyi, co-founder of STORY mfg. “Walking is our meditation and as we pound the pavement, we pick our brains for inspiration – we forage for wisdom. These versions of the Club C and Beatnik are slubby-gummy-peacey and friendly, without being foolish – like us.”

The collection was created with the casual, yet mindful STORY mfg. design language in mind. The Club C and Beatnik paired perfectly with STORY’s aesthetic due to the Club C’s clean, classic silhouette and the Beatnik’s signature minimal construction. This inspiration was carried into both shoes through the upper, which is constructed from an undyed, woven linen blend, and finished off with a signature STORY playful graphic in the embroidered, chunky peace sign on the lateral side of each shoe.

The Beatnik itself is meant to resemble a puffy shoe that mimics one you might wear during a camping trip. The padded walking sandal features a pared down upper strap to remove excess plastic and a back strap that was made entirely removable to allow the shoe to be transformed into a mule. Both shoes are entirely vegan.
