OFF-WHITE adidas Ultra Boost Custom

Virgil Abloh‘s “The Ten” Collection with Nike will officially begin to release this weekend in New York City. Ahead of its release, Toronto-based graphic designer Corbs mocked up an OFF-WHITE adidas Ultra Boost in a way that Virgil Abloh would create himself.

Using elements from Virgil’s Nike collaboration, like the words “SHOELACE” and “BOOST” written in quotes as well as the Red industrial tag.

Although this OFF-WHITE x adidas Ultra Boost collaboration will probably never actually happen, what do you guys think of this custom? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

  • He’d totally do more with the upper and deconstruct it a bit, sort of how most of the seams on his current ten for Nike have the padding showing and revealed. It’s a recognizable modern design thing to be deconstructive and whatnot.

The image is close and funny, but I’d actually be stoked to see what he’d do. To be honest he’d probably de-cage it immediately and turn that whole DIY trend on it’s head, maybe something weird and fun with the heel cup being translucent.
