New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has just signed the biggest shoe deal in NFL history, the Nike deal is said to be five-years worth north of $25 million.
While the deal doesn’t include a signature shoe, Nike has plans to make Odell a brand icon. His most recent Nike contract expired on May 1st, and while adidas offered him a pretty good deal, the Swoosh made sure to match what they were paying inking the superstar for five more years.
According to Nice Kicks, the deal could escalate to a value of as much as $48 million over 8 years, which includes addition incentives making it the most lucrative endorsement deal for a NFL player to date.
