Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle has teamed up with Reebok to release a special edition Classic Nylon inspired by the LA Dodgers and Crips gang.
This iteration of the Reebok Classic Nylon features a Bright Blue suede and mesh upper paired with White snakeskin overlays. Nipsey’s famous song “Rich Rolling” is embroidered on the heel tab while “Crenshaw” and “Slauson” are embossed on the suede heel counter as a nod to the rapper’s neighborhood streets. Other details includes graphic-printed insoles and inner tongue tabs with Reebok Classic logos.

Look for the Nipsey Hussle x Reebok Classic Nylon to release on February 17th at select Reebok retailers.

UPDATE: While the shoe was making headlines, Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle quickly responded on social media claiming that these are “unauthorized.”

He recently signed with PUMA less than a month ago. It’s still unknown if this was just a miscommunication, but the shoe was listed to drop on February 17th. Reebok has yet to comment.
