Nike was originally founded on January 25, 1964, as Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS), by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, and officially became Nike, Inc. on May 30, 1971.

As a nod to its Blue Ribbon Sports name, Nike is set to release a brand new Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo to pay tribute to its heritage.

This offering of the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo comes dressed in the iconic “Cortez” color scheme. It features a White upper with a Red Swoosh logo on the sides and Blue gradient wrapping the heel. Alternate branding on the heel, tongue, and insole comes in the OG Blue Ribbon Sports logo completed with reflective tongues.
