USC has joined the list of college football programs getting its own Nike Vaporposite Pro PE this season. The Foamposite-inspired cleat has already been made for TCU, Ohio State, Texas, Florida State, Clemson, and LSU, with Southern California now receiving a pair built around the Trojans’ colors.

Black covers nearly the entire upper, including the molded shell that gives the Vaporposite Pro its Foamposite look. Faux carbon fiber panels break things up around the eyelets and forefoot, while black mesh, laces, and a neoprene inner bootie keep the rest of the cleat dark. Red and gold first appear on the small Swoosh near the toe.

USC colors become more noticeable on the metallic Swoosh along the side, which mixes red and gold against the black upper. The same colors appear on the tongue branding, while red embroidery runs across the rear pull tab. “Fight On” lettering is worked into the heel, giving the PE another detail tied directly to the school.

A red iridescent finish covers the cleated outsole and stands out from the mostly black design above it. The Vaporposite Pro itself is made for the football field, combining the molded upper with an internal bootie for a locked-in fit.

The Nike Vaporposite Pro “USC” PE was made for Trojans players and is not expected to release to the public. USC is expected to wear the cleats against Washington next Saturday.
