Both born in Australia, point guard Kyrie Irving and tennis pro Nick Kyrgios share a love for their heritage and a high esteem for the other athlete. That premise inspired a collaborative project for this January, when Kyrgios will wear a Kyrie 5-inspired Vapor X in Melbourne. (Irving will wear a Kyrie 5 based on Kyrgios’ Vapor on January 7th against the Nets.)

The low-cut tennis version features the Nike Kyrie 5 Flytrap-inspired upper for a lockdown fit and a Vapor X outsole, which includes a heel Zoom Air unit and is reinforced in high-wear areas to sustain Kyrgios through hardcourt play.
