Ja Morant is getting a second performance model under Nike Basketball with the Ja Twelve Time. Built as the first takedown shoe in his signature line, it will sit below the upcoming Ja 4 at a more accessible level.

Nike China released the latest images, which show three colorways and a design that still feels tied to Morant’s recent footwear. The sidewalls are cut with deep molded notches, giving the shoe the same jagged edge seen on the Ja 3 and Ja 4, though the overall build is noticeably simpler.

The left and right shoes do not match around the laces. One uses an oversized Swoosh as part of the eyestay, while the other replaces it with a sharply notched panel. Placed side by side and viewed from above, the two sections form “Ja.”

The first group includes a black, red and white pair, a purple and black option, and a mostly black-and-white colorway. Marbled detailing shows up on the tongue of the black-and-white version.

Nike still hasn’t detailed the cushioning/support package. Since this is a takedown, the Twelve Time will most likely feature an easier setup than the Ja 4’s SPRPWR insoles and JA-Frame.

The Nike Ja Twelve Time will release in Asia on August 13, 2026. A release outside the region has not been confirmed, but is extremely likely.
