The Nike Twelve Time “Nightmare” comes dressed mostly in dark purple, with black taking care of the rest. Mesh covers the upper from the toe through the sides, with raised lines worked into the material that bring back the claw-like graphics seen on some of Ja Morant’s earlier shoes. A black midsole sits underneath, finished with jagged edges that match the look of the upper.

JA branding takes over much of the heel. Morant’s angular logo appears in a larger size on the heel counter, backed by a pattern of smaller logos that gives the area a textured look. The same branding carries onto parts of the midsole, with another JA logo placed in white on the tongue.

A glossy black Swoosh runs along the lateral side, but the details around the toe aren’t identical from one shoe to the other. The right shoe extends its Swoosh from the outer toe and up toward the laces. On the left, that section is replaced by a raised lace guide that creates an “A” shape when looking down at the shoe.

Nike Twelve Time Nightmare Release Date

The Nike Twelve Time “Nightmare” releases September 4, 2026, for $90. The pair will be available through Nike and select retailers in-store and online.
