UPDATE 8/17/26: The Nike Tennis Classic “Chew Dog” Pack just dropped on Nike.com.

The Nike Tennis Classic “Chew Dog” Pack gives the old court model one of its strangest looks yet. Two pairs are part of the release, with one dressed almost entirely in black and the other covered in a Dalmatian-style black-and-white pattern.

Both versions use pony hair across much of the upper, which changes the feel of the Tennis Classic quite a bit from its usual leather builds. The black pair stays nearly tonal from top to bottom, with a yellow flaming tennis ball logo on the tongue adding the main bit of contrast.

The spotted version goes much further with the theme. Off-white pony hair is covered in black markings across the upper and midsole, while white leather Swooshes, white laces, and a matching outsole help break things up. Its tongue carries the same flaming tennis ball graphic, this time in orange and black.

Paw print embroidery appears on the heels of both pairs, and the inside of the tongue includes a name tag that reads “Hi My Name Is” and “If Lost, Please Call.” Those small details make the dog inspiration pretty clear without needing much explanation.

The flaming tennis ball logo also pulls the pack back toward Nike tennis history, referencing the old Challenge Court era. It is a nice contrast to the more unusual materials, especially since the Tennis Classic has already been showing up in more experimental 2026 releases, including terry cloth versions earlier in the year.
