Nike is Suing CrossFit CityPlace

Nike is suing CrossFit CityPlace located in West Palm Beach, Florida for the gym’s new logo, which resembles one of the most recognizable logos in the world, the Jumpman logo.

CrossFit CityPlace owner Matt Brewster said the inspiration behind the logo came from a one-armed handstand on a kettelbell.

“I’ve never seen Michael Jordan slam dunk a 70-pound kettlebell upside down,” the lawyer representing Brewster, Michael Pike, told The Palm Beach Post.

“They’re trying to bully the little guy because they’ve got more money,” Brewster told the The Palm Beach Post. “They’re trying to scare us, but we’re not going to be scared.”

Let us know what you guys think in the comments section. Can you see the Jumpman logo in CrossFit CityPlace’s logo?

We’ll keep you updated as the story develops. This should be interesting.
