Nike Stops Midnight Releases

Published on

Nike has finally put their foot-down on midnight releases, as stores and boutiques will be required to wait until 8 a.m. to release a sneaker. Also, they are required to postpone showing images of all upcoming releases until the sneaker has officially launch. The upcoming Nike LeBron X+ has brought a light to this matter as they will be the highest priced sneaker in history priced at $315. So for the people that have a habit of waiting inline for days, maybe even weeks for a high anticipated release, that will now become just a past memory. Along with the RSVP system and this new rule Nike is enforcing is just a small part to help/keep people safe. Now with the Holiday season coming up, how do you think Nike’s new rule will holdup? What are your thoughts on Nike laying down the law?
