Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s next signature shoe is already starting to take shape, and this time it will be under Nike. The SHAI 002 is expected to arrive in early 2027 after the SHAI 001 launched through Converse.

@brandon1an reports that the Nike SHAI 002 is currently set for February 2027. The first pair is listed in Hot Curry, Dark Team Red, and Orange Chalk. Men’s sizing will retail for $145, while grade school pairs are expected to cost $120.

That release window puts the shoe around NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix. Gilgeous-Alexander has made the All-Star team every year since 2022, and the first SHAI 001 was also introduced in February back in 2025.

There is still a lot we do not know about how the SHAI 002 ended up moving from Converse to Nike. It is also unclear how much of the design had already been finished before the switch happened.

Nike SHAI 002 Release Date

The Nike SHAI 002 is expected to release in February 2027 through Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers. Retail is set at $145 for men’s sizing and $120 for grade school pairs.
